That's what I'm talkin about that's what I talkin about we like his and we product we're long time customers
I got an error message of "This promotion has ended" when trying to check out. Guess the promo code was only good for the day/weekend?
@@chrisoneill325 Hello Chris! I've fixed this issue. It should not have expired, but I made a mistake when setting it up. Thanks for pointing that out!
yo @zacinthewild when you gonna do a knife giveaway? lol
I appreciate the fact you do this type of content. I'm tired of the sitting at a table and unboxing a knife and showing it off just to get free knives from manufacturer. The fact your out telling the story behind the people who make them not just giving opinions on the products
So glad to hear! I love all my tabletop friends👊
Amen. That is one of the best comme ta I've ever seen.
I think that's why I've started following. Nick Shabazz style videos are great, but I find myself drifting off to other videos quicker than I used to
So awesome! I had a ton of fun with you guys in the shop. Thanks for making me look kinda smart 🤣
Way smarter then me😁
Been shopping around for kind of a do-all around the farm fixed blade since basically inheriting my family’s small farm and I just found it thanks to this vid lol.
It will treat you right👊
Still my favorite thing to watch on Saturdays. Please keep talking with the maker's and designers
Means the world! More maker stuff coming for sure’
"The process is the product." The right words at the right time. 🙏 I couldn't agree more.
He definitely has it nailed down!
TJ is one of the brightest minds in the knife industry. Love following his career.
The Overlander fixed blade is my favorite! Can’t wait to take it camping. Thanks Zac for sharing his process!
This is one of the best things you guys do: the stories behind knives and designers and the processes behind it all. Keep it up!
So glad you liked it! We love telling stories🤘
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. One of the biggest takeaways from this, for me, is to just get started and not wait until everything is perfect to begin, cause that’ll never happen. Really enjoying your videos brother Zac, keep ‘em coming!
TJ is a perfect example of that! Glad you’re digging them👊
He really does an incredible job . I am lucky enough to have gotten the Schwarz Scalpel + , and I love it .
Nice and informative vid. I appreciate the fast pace and the 12 min length. Thanks, Zac.
Dude! Thanks for putting us in front of these artists/companies… love hearing the stories that I likely wouldn’t otherwise.
Heck yeah dude . Made in a garage is a good thing , more control and hands on 👍👏👌👊
What a great guy TJ is. I love seeing the "younger" designers/makers and hearing what they have to say. I never knew Bill Koenig and TJ knew each other so far back.
Thanks Zac for bringing TJ to us and letting him explain some of his processes. Now i need to pick up a new knife from TJ, i have support the great makers.
Glad you liked it!👊
Wow I just bought an overland and now I'm watching a video of the guy who designed it very cool
such a cool back story - great vid Zach -- and stellar knives TJ😎💥🤘
TJ is the man!
I just purchased two Overlands (waiting for them to arrive), and then found this video...even though I don't have the knives in hand yet, learning more about TJ and his process has me appreciating them more already.
Freaking epic stories. So cool to see how far TJ has come. Keep it up guys!
I love this stuff! Im happy you went out and actually talked to these makers! Keep up the good content!!! Tell Jamie he's beautiful, btw.
Definitely a cool dude, smart way "backwards!" Kinda amazing in this small area! Very talented! I have always loved Columbia Knife, The Quality, the price, thank you! J
This was great. You guys are killing it with the content.
Zac is a great interviewer!
Thanks!
This was fantastic to watch. Top-notch work! :)
Love my Overland Sport! I certainly appreciate the process and the person.
Thanks for bringing TJ to us.
Impressive guy... great interview!
He is one solid dude!
This is great !! Love to see videos like this !
Really insightful video into TJ's process! Great video as always!
Love the way he works!
Brilliant interview!!!!
I have an overland hopefully being made in the next few weeks. Super stocked.
Got my Schwarz Confidante last night. And boy am I stoked! My first blade from Schwarz Knives and my first blade in Magnacut! This has become my absolute favorite EDC compact fixed blade! Cheers...
Awesome 👍 TJ is the man, and this was a fun interview/shop tour.
Thanks Jesse
Awesome knives from a great maker. Thanks for sharing this behind the scene.
The old knife place just isn't the same without yall 2 guys...I like yalls transition and I'll keep supporting yall.
That was fun thanks!
When I asked about reviewing the Schwarz Scapel+ I had no idea I would get this instead! Thanks for the great content!
Glad you enjoyed! The scalpel is on hold right now he said. I’m interested in it too!
Another awesome video Zac and Jamie. I really like his knife designs
👊
Love this video!
Hands down the best at youtube, greetings from Sweden
Thank you!🙏
I just ordered a Overland Sport last friday, i cant wait to finally get it im super excited
My favorite part was the ad read, what a cute dog!
Super cool story and video
Analysis paralysis is absolutely the enemy. At least for me.
Thank you, T.J. for saying it out loud.
Super inspiring, thanks guys!! [:
Deff enjoy the individuality & uniqueness from the both of ya
Thanks!👊
Excellent production and content. Keep it coming.
I hope to meet you guys at Blade Show Texas
Really interesting as with so much of your stuff
Cool review of his journey and the working process of his dream. . Hope to add his brand to my daily carry . Thank you. Best of luck to you both .
Great dude and great knives🤘
Great interview!
TJ made it easy🤘
That Overland fixie is sick.
It’s a beauty for sure!
Great video and insight into a maker . I like the fixed blade overland.
The fixed blade is the way to go for sure!
Great video as always and thank you for promoting small business that produces quality over quantity.
He’s got all the good stuff for sure!
I have a Overland sitting at home waiting on me. I ordered in n December and am SUPER excited to get it in my hand. My days off can’t come fast enough. Love his work and he seems so down to earth.
Awesome! Let me know how you like it🤘
As a Dog trainer I highly recommend sundays it’s an absolute stellar food!!
Not for nothing, the quality of your videos is so good. Very impressive.
Glad you enjoyed!
Someone give this guy a show on History Channel or Discovery Channel!
Thanks😁
That'd be awesome. I'd be a regular viewer. Luckily we get to see Zach and Jamie here!!
What a cool dude.. I'll buy his knives now for sure
I also taste test my best friends dog food lol!! Love this!! Zac you are awesome keep the videos coming!!
His overland fixed blade is on my short list. I’ve been wanting to buy a tactile pterodactyl raptor fixed blade and this overland looks so very similar at a very competitive price, using better steel and much easier to obtain. I also love how he gives you the ability to customize your own sheath with your order and replace the stock kydex sheath for only an additional $10. This is something more fixed blade makers need to do.
I love all of this.
Do I know you?
I bought a fixed blade from T.J. in Magnacut and really wish that CRKT would step up and run the folder in Magnacut bare steel with black G10 (or micarta) so that his collector's could have a match set. Great video. Thanks.
Awesome!
Love seeing how things work behind the scenes like this. Just wish CRKT would add 1/2 inch to the Overland. My funky hands would love it.
You da man Zac
Awesome video. Tj seems like a cool dude 😎 Maybe a fixed blade in my future.
Nice work guys! Stoked to see it 👊🏻
Hello internet stranger. Thank you for the comment 👍
Now we need to go talk to this guy up in Oregon sometime🤔😁
🤣
Now make the Dad knife & the Huck great again Mr. B 👍🏻
love the scribe
3D modeling knives is a lot of fun
I purchased a CRKT Dexrtro a couple of months ago and immediately became a fan of TJ's designs.
Great dude and great designs🤘
Very Cool, He's living My Dream !
He’s a real one!
Just got my Overland fixed blade a couple of weeks ago. Favorite knife in the collection for sure and cant wait to put it work this summer around the camp fire.
It definitely can get it done💪
Thanks so much for picking one up 🙏
Dude! You need to do a "what I'm carrying" video with cobblers. Boot dudes have to be knife-men. I would think - that would be a rad video series!!! Every city has a decent cobbler. Maybe🤔
I think you might need to keep an eye on the channel in the next few weeks. 😉
@@zacinthewild psyched!! 👍👍
Thanks gentlemen, keep up the great work . . . both of you '-)
More coming! Thanks from both of us😁
My old lab was called Bruce too!
I love my custom Overland probably the sharpest blade ever straight out the box. Crazy. Hey TJ make a g10 or micarta scale that’s a little fatter for purchase. Just a thought.
I love my Overland so much, it's a slicing demon
Such a great blade!
"May the Schwartz be with you."
Great content! Dude has a cool back story. Great use of space too.
The phrase of the day is, "analysis paralysis ."
This comment wins the day!🤘
Yusss ✊️ LoL
Bring the torent back. Its my dream knife and would love to be able to get one directly from you
You should do a review of his fixed blade !thanks for the awesome content
Definitely have it in some upcoming vids!
Zach this young man is a next-generation of knife makers philosophy makes sense.3D printing first he likes to final The 3rd product created the next step is metal work hand work. When If Can suggest don't give us any exotic metals that will only increase the price. Remember your forefathers how they across over mountains with knives that more than likely a Smitty made him with any kind of iron or metal he found around.
💪👊
Great story!
Great guy too!
Dope shop TJ!
So much in such a tiny space!
Thanks!
I like that knife design
He has some great ones!
I wonder if the overland fixed blade could be made in Magnacut or LC200N with a serrated edge. I have a good friend who is a saturation diver and he is looking for a dive knife and was unable to get a Spyderco Enuff fixed blade.
Going to check out the dogfood. My dogs food isn't cheap already.
is that my toxic green handles i just saw? i hope so looks great! love this video!
Dang right they are 😎
I like his shirt
can you please do a review of the rat 3 im looking for fixed blade to complament my fastback utility or what you whould recommend for a 6 to 7 in fixed blade that i can cc on the back in scout position or like that thanks in advance
You can knock out buckets of Knife Shaped Objects, but... how's the material, how's the heat tread, how's the finishing work, how's the support. These are the things that will determine the survivors of this cnc-pocalypse.
I emailed him after seeing this knife. I absolutely love it however it’s a bit larger than I wanna daily carry. He informed me a mini overland is coming this summer!!! I can’t wait to order one!
So rad! I didn’t even know that🤣
😎
Your dog is amazing
He is the best boy!
@@zacinthewildthen he deserves the Sunday 😂
I am sorry Zac. 😔 I have to commit to something and I don't know how to feel about it. But it needs to be said...
So here it comes:
I clicked the LIKE 👍 button as soon as the video has started. 🙈😁😁
It's out. I feel much better now. Thank for the entertainment. Both you and Jamie! I love you guys! ❤️
Thanks so much😁! We honestly could do this stuff without you guys💪
Believe it or not, I used the original Ginsu knives from the early 80's to cut everything for more than 20 years, never noticably dulled... 🤗
Ha I was just about to buy one of these overland fixed blade!
Do it! Check out the pinned comment for 10% off👊
I got the overland, but that fixed blade overland looks so much better!
edit oh god dam it's also 4x the price lol
You Need to go to Ferrum Forge Next
That would be great…🤔😁
7:43 did we just become best friends?😂
So now I really want to know more about why you never really mentioned that TJ designed one of the most iconic knives today, what's the story with the Arius? Sure he makes several CRKT designs but to only briefly mention Koenig at the beginning?
These videos are awesome but when are you going to do a fixed blade camp knife episode with the ka bar and blackbird sk5?
So soon! Just have to wait for a bit of snow to melt😁
@@zacinthewild Gotcha where I live in colorado it snowed close to two feet overnight.
Nice hat bro
Thanks! It’s my new favorite😁
