If this happens often I would advise for her to take a small break before the smell of cakes becomes too much for her to handle ☺️

Just made it. All my family adored it. It tasted heavenly. I was scared it will be too sweet but it wasn't at all. I was just able to make 2 sheets instead of 3 because my cake was smaller in height and i didn't use colorants so it doesn't look that good. But tastewise guys.... unbelievable.

The cake looks wonderful ! I'm not a huge fan of super moist cakes so I would have added a thin biscuit at the base, and probably will whenever I'll bake this haha But honestly even without it I would have ended this cake x)
Hi everyone! As soon as I saw this recipe I just had to try out and went grocery shopping to buy everything I needed. And I’ll just say a couple things to this recipe. - If you don’t have white food coloring it’s fine. Just red food coloring works as well. - you should definitely use baking powder or your cake will turn out very flat and thin.!!! - you might need more heavy cream and sugar than the recipe tells you. For me it definitely wasn’t enough and I couldn’t cover up the top like in the video. Therefore you’d need more cherries too.. I can’t say how the cake tastes yet since it’s in the fridge but I’m really looking forward to try it out.✨🍒
the cake is fine without baking powder. if yours is flat and thin it means you didnt whip the egg enough, or that you mixed too much after whipping and knocked all the air out.

I tried it two times already and keep failing. The bisquit is always underbaked inside, and with my second try it's also full of lumps i couldn't destroy without destroying the fluffiness af well, and it sinked after baking. I followed the recipe precisely, combined with the tips from the internet, and still failed. What did i do wrong? I have all the equipment, i follow the instructions precisely down to the minutes, seconds, grams and every single C°, and i still keep failing to make the bisquit. Is that the flour? Do i need the cake flour specifically? Is that my mixing technique? I mixed from the down up to not destroy the fluffiness and the lumps formed as a result. Do i need to mix quicker? Or get the cake flour? Or lower the temperature in my oven? Why do i keep failing?

hey i made i similar cake to this one it was the matcha strawberry cake. it has the same base cake. for the egg part i put a medium sized Pot full of water onto the stove and brought it to a rolling boil I took it off the stove and put my bowl on top and continued to mix checking periodically with the thermometer. Also the oven should have a setting where you can select a temperature for to be at and then it will beep when it’s at that temperature. I also have a gas oven and it did not make a difference in the cake. when you bake it put your cake in the middle of the oven so it had even air flow around it and it will bake evenly. if it continues to fail you cold separatethe batter into multiple pans so they would bake quicker but be less thick. hope that helps : )
I keep failing too. First it was undermixed eggs, now it was lumps, underbaking and sinking after baking. Ot looks so beautiful and easy on the video, bit there's so little details on such complicated process as bisquit-making. I'm starting to think to just use different recipe for the bisquit that is simpler and will work withour cake flour.

food scales can be really cheap so thats why i use to measure in grams since they dont convert to cups very well
