I want to be clear, this is NOT 'UX design'. This is purely a simplified UI design process. Please don't confuse this with UX design because I definitely do not condone 'stealing UX designs'. UX design is a much more strategic and somewhat more advanced skillset. I'll launch vides around a practical UX process later in the future. Have a great day beautiful people!
@@sussypole6840 you are the L......every artist uses refrence pictures/projects or real life objects and this video showcase exactly that process and sources
Almost 15 years doing this and I didn’t know you could use the multiply blend mode to sort of disappear the background of an image overlaid. Thanks a bunch for that… and for sharing your process!
Mizko, you are a Godsend! I'm not exaggerating. So fortunate to have found you during transitioning my career into UX/UI. The free content you offer is beyond valuable!! Have also signed up for your Figma Masterclass. Thank you so much for all the incredible work you do, which is truly "premium, slick and exclusive".
to be honest, this is by far one of the most useful i watched in my design career. On point, practical knowledge and very good explanations! Thank you so much!
You know what? I was bashed for my first UI design saying it lacked many things but I was going for a theme and my approach was correct its just that I lacked inspiration. This was what I lacked all along. Thank you
Mizko! Can you make a video about sketching? I would really like to know your process when sketching, how you define spacing, responsiveness, and how things will work. I would really appreciate it!
Hi Mizko I am a UX designer from South Africa I just want to say thank you for all the work you do for the design community, the resources you share have helped shape and improve the way I design. You are doing an incredible job ❤️
Hi Yolanda, I need help with getting a friend into UX designer but they dont have tertiary background. She is how ever taking a udemy course at the moment and seems to be grasping it elegantly. Do you have any advise on how she can possible land a job in your field? Thank you From SA too
Great video Michael! Thank you for going into so much detail. I appreciate that you showed how to blend / fade the image transparency as well as how to present it for social media.
PERFECT! I like doing things in "steps". Awesome way to "steal" from multiple concepts to create something UNIQUE! Love it. Disclosure: I focus on UI, Visual, & Interaction design not UX Design. Thanks for great insights
Amazing video, Mizko! Very didactic and clear throughout your process. It is clear to me it's not a UX video, but a great one on the UI dev. process. Congrats and cheers for that!
Wow, Mizko really knows his onions. Been trying to create something unique without making it look so familar. You just gave me a new perspective on how to approach it. Thank you Mizko😋😍
That helps a lot... Recently got like 3 clients who has no Branding at all. and also has no budget to create their own Branding. I was having a super hard time figuring out their what type of style i should go for. I made some random designs inspired from dribble and Pintrest and things didnt go well. but now I have a specific route to go to what i can do when such type of clients come up.
Wow, I always wondered how to come up with a UI design concept. Finding inspiration from interior design is something i'd definitely try for my project!! thank you :)
Content is great. I would only describe this as design inspiration and not stealing. You’re looking for references to influence your choices. You are still making decisions to make the design your own. Stealing implies that you’re simply ripping someone else’s idea with any synthesis or thought.
I am new to your channel, It is my first look into your content. Thank you for giving me a lot of experience in only 20 mins clip. I really need to learn about Figma designs in detail Thanks again Mizko.
Thank you for creating such great content that adds value to my life. I appreciate the effort you put into your videos and I wanted to let you know that you've gained a new subscriber! Please keep up the good work, and I look forward to watching more of your videos in the future.
This is so cool. Thank you for the tutorial. What I will do next is to introduce an accent color to the mix. Something golden or bronze looking. I will use it for the "Popular" text, and the "Location" icons.
This is brilliant Mizko! As you mentioned in the comment, could you also make a video about a proper UX process and methods you would use in each step? Thanks 👍🏼
I was so tense that, my visual designs are not getting any unique look. then I watched this one. Hats off! I have one more question, you have selected a targeted niche in the first part of the video. When I design something for my portfolio, how can I choose my niche appropriately? Thank you!
Amazing! Especially the part on utilizing the interior design. I work in AEC world and want to switch to UIUX design and I found that path fascinating.
Amazing video Mizko, really insightful! Some of the key takeaways for me was how to search for keywords while searching for design inspiration and how to make that gradient effect on image. 🙌
Excellent video. Simple steps but with a very good quality result. I have a question. At the end for the presentation you add some leaves and almonds with the layer in multiply mode, but there are parts of the background that are not completely erased and appear as spots. After a few seconds, the leaves and clean almonds appear, with the background cleanly erased, even one of the leaves is on top of the second frame to give the 3D effect. How did you do that part? I mean to erase the background completely and to erase some parts of the leaves above the frame? Thanks for answering.

Is the course worth it for a beginner ui/ux designer?
Finding references from other mediums (interior design) is such a cool idea. Definitely will be doing that from now on too.
