I want to be clear, this is NOT 'UX design'. This is purely a simplified UI design process. Please don't confuse this with UX design because I definitely do not condone 'stealing UX designs'. UX design is a much more strategic and somewhat more advanced skillset. I'll launch vides around a practical UX process later in the future. Have a great day beautiful people!
@@sussypole6840 you are the L......every artist uses refrence pictures/projects or real life objects and this video showcase exactly that process and sources
Almost 15 years doing this and I didn’t know you could use the multiply blend mode to sort of disappear the background of an image overlaid. Thanks a bunch for that… and for sharing your process!
Great video Michael! Thank you for going into so much detail. I appreciate that you showed how to blend / fade the image transparency as well as how to present it for social media.
Mizko! Can you make a video about sketching? I would really like to know your process when sketching, how you define spacing, responsiveness, and how things will work. I would really appreciate it!
This is brilliant Mizko! As you mentioned in the comment, could you also make a video about a proper UX process and methods you would use in each step? Thanks 👍🏼
PERFECT! I like doing things in "steps". Awesome way to "steal" from multiple concepts to create something UNIQUE! Love it. Disclosure: I focus on UI, Visual, & Interaction design not UX Design. Thanks for great insights
Wow, Mizko really knows his onions. Been trying to create something unique without making it look so familar. You just gave me a new perspective on how to approach it. Thank you Mizko😋😍
Amazing video, Mizko! Very didactic and clear throughout your process. It is clear to me it's not a UX video, but a great one on the UI dev. process. Congrats and cheers for that!
Hi Mizko I am a UX designer from South Africa I just want to say thank you for all the work you do for the design community, the resources you share have helped shape and improve the way I design. You are doing an incredible job ❤️
Hi Yolanda, I need help with getting a friend into UX designer but they dont have tertiary background. She is how ever taking a udemy course at the moment and seems to be grasping it elegantly. Do you have any advise on how she can possible land a job in your field? Thank you From SA too
Wow, I always wondered how to come up with a UI design concept. Finding inspiration from interior design is something i'd definitely try for my project!! thank you :)
You know what? I was bashed for my first UI design saying it lacked many things but I was going for a theme and my approach was correct its just that I lacked inspiration. This was what I lacked all along. Thank you
That helps a lot... Recently got like 3 clients who has no Branding at all. and also has no budget to create their own Branding. I was having a super hard time figuring out their what type of style i should go for. I made some random designs inspired from dribble and Pintrest and things didnt go well. but now I have a specific route to go to what i can do when such type of clients come up.
Amazing! Especially the part on utilizing the interior design. I work in AEC world and want to switch to UIUX design and I found that path fascinating.
Content is great. I would only describe this as design inspiration and not stealing. You’re looking for references to influence your choices. You are still making decisions to make the design your own. Stealing implies that you’re simply ripping someone else’s idea with any synthesis or thought.
I was so tense that, my visual designs are not getting any unique look. then I watched this one. Hats off! I have one more question, you have selected a targeted niche in the first part of the video. When I design something for my portfolio, how can I choose my niche appropriately? Thank you!
This is so cool. Thank you for the tutorial. What I will do next is to introduce an accent color to the mix. Something golden or bronze looking. I will use it for the "Popular" text, and the "Location" icons.
Mizko, you are a Godsend! I'm not exaggerating. So fortunate to have found you during transitioning my career into UX/UI. The free content you offer is beyond valuable!! Have also signed up for your Figma Masterclass. Thank you so much for all the incredible work you do, which is truly "premium, slick and exclusive".
I love your tutotial. Actually Im web designer but Im thingking about to change to UIUX designer. could you recommend how to practice, study like a book or site as your channel. I like your english diction. so clear!!!
Thank you :) You can start by reading my 3 favourite books. Lean Startup, Hooked - How to build habit forming products and Blitzscaling. These 3 books are not 'design' specific, because understanding the world of business and product strategy is actually more important.
Thank you like always!! Exactly what I needed. I do want to ask how do we upload to dribbble and not have our images get all blurry after we upload it? I can't find the answer anywhere. Hopefully you can respond this!
Nice concept, what if the brand have already made style guide that is far different from premium perspective..... The brand color need to come to play here
great video, I have the same process. I'm interested to know how you transformed your apple pencil to write on that larger screen. what equipment did you use. hardware/software?

Great video. I would centralise the header text on the splash screen so it is all aligned, and would probably use a dark themed map instead.
