OK, grumpy old guy here,first 10 minutes of the video…I got tears in my eyes because the GTO is coming home to Drummonds ,then seeing you with your best friend since you were kids reminds me that I’m also blessed that my best friend of 56 years and I have those same memories. I just built my lake place Last year and doing the finishing touches right now and my best friend Jeff, as we speak is building his lake place just a little ways up the road, you just can’t beat the bond… for you and JC, Donna Jeff Lutz, Jeff Junior, everybody from CRC Edelbrock and all the sponsors that were a part of this to raise money for those scholarships …Y’all did good ,looking forward to seeing what y’all do with it and hopefully I can get away from the busyness here at the lake and go an hour east over to Brainerd and see y’all in August!

I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota quad cab 4x4 3.7L liters of " almost freedom" I want to build an AWD Sleeper. I've had it in AWD low. Well, it Launched hard. I know better than to launch it all stock. My uncle died about a year ago and left the truck to me, the truck is from Florida. It's immaculate inside & out Zero rust. I want to do a little budget built on it. Just a
To beef it up a little bit, I'm afraid right now. I'll break everything in it. Trying to launch it in 4-wheel drive. If anybody knows how to kind of give them power it's got 233,000 miles on it and it runs like a top.

If that was a HSV GTO it in that condition it woulda pulled triple that but for that car it’s an awesome price. These are $50k in Australia where they would be highly sought after which is roughly the $32k US.
There's got to be close to 32k in parts and labour clay never said how much the cost of the car great purchase

Dear Mr. McKillin, that poor auctioneer called you everything but McLovin! If you have watched this channel for any period of time, there’s not a single viewer that didn’t believe you wouldn’t end up with that car somehow. Most of us figured Rick Ware was going to step in and buy it, but JC is just as good. I hope this video gets a million views
Hahaha!! 😂 I always said Chevelles are like ASSH--s everyone has one… GTO’s are like the holy grail for me anyways..unique,beautiful, fast and not everyone has one unlike a Chevelle..

I heard that if you do an online search for 1970 Chevelle 454 with LS engines, there are a lot in NJ, and they actually show some in NY Ct and PA also . Garage kept and also some semi nasty ones too. Just a thought. There were a bunch of Auto Plants in the area back in the day, and workers had dibs with employee discounts, direct from factory in the 60's and 70's on any of their products, even ones not made at their plants. Detroits and Arlington Texas also, where Chevelle was made during that time. Pat Musi (Great ex NJ legend) has a lot of friends still there. Worth a shot. I got all this info from a friend who was looking for a cowl induction hood for his 70
Don't ever say what speed you're going. Because other RUclipsrs have been Arrested for it. Never show your speed om camera. That way you won't have the Is mickey mouse showing up at your door. I'm just watching out for you. P.S traction control was for women and children.. 😂

I'm building my last hotrod. It's just a old school 383 with Scat rotating assembly and AFR intimidator heads. I'll be putting it in a 84 El Camino with a 700r4 good for 650hp and a carbon fiber rear end 3.73. My brother and I used to run a 76 Chevy truck and beat Camaros every day and all it had was a 305. This video reminds me of why I'm building it. To sit with a bigger family now and talk about cars and how much fun they truly are.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to have that sort of money to play with. Not to mention what it would be like to have that ability in this sort of economy, crazy!! Yeah, I own my home and property outright. But toys, they've all been sold!! Why? Because I'm disabled and on a fixed income.
I busted my butt to earn the toys I had, when I was able to work. Now I'll probably never be able to afford to get them again.
Yes, you could drive anything I own. I love everything you do. I wish I could build JC the optimum Chevelle. Simply because he did this and he is your friend, this is cool.

So for 1.. absolutely would I let you drive my ride if you wanted to. I know that you would be respectful and not drive it like you stole it unless I let you. For another, I'm super glad that your lifelong friend wound up with it and was able to get a killer deal. I can't help but to wonder what would've happened if they had said your's and Lutz last names right if it would've gone for more? Regardless.. everything happens for a reason!

Well we just got done painting a 68 Chevelle that’s not a true super sport but it is badged and made to be a super sport and it’s got 454 in it automatic and I think the engine might be slightly built but it’s a super nice car and I’d rather have the GTO honestly lol

That’s a wrap we had done. The car is actually silver underneath the Lutz Yellow wrap.
Original paint is always worth more. But i think the wrap can be taken off. Hopefully without damaging the paint.
