I own a 2021 Tahoe, Z71. Nicest vehicle I’ve owned. The lame keeping option should be standard. Out the door I paid 64K and not to have the added safety is BAD. It does good off road.
I don't know why everyone thinks that our roads are tiny? Only in old, ancient city centres or old suburbs. The rest of the roads is not as big as US, but OK for all vehicles. I mean we have trucks and busses as well that need to drive around.
@@redwhite_040 Because they are? I've driven a lot in Europe and the roads are definitely narrower than in the US. Parking spaces in garages definitely don't fit anything bigger than a Mercedes S-Class (even that's quite a tight fit).
@@OscarLeeMX Yes roads are narrower and parking lots are smaller. But for example, here in the Netherlands people import some of your pick-up trucks as well (for business) and drive and park in cities too. Everything is smaller yes, but it's not that hard, just a little adaption.
@@barsaf9989 I've been in US (many states) and in Europe most countries. But our streets in Europe are definitly smaller, but in 90% of the cases our infrastructer is better quality (roads, bicycle lane and sidewalks). And most of our large stationwagons are just as long as a big SUV.
Please do review the diesel variant too...it would be interesting to know if its worth switching to diesel solely for the better fuel economy. Also, would the GMC Yukon get the Diesel engine too?
28 MPG Highway on the 3L Diesel is phenomenal for something this large. I really hope people buy the Diesel engine. At this price point I am shocked the guages aren't digital on an all new 2021 vehicle
@@abhim9221 First, it's a matter of patience. Wait until there is more on the lots to choose from. With C19, it may be mid-2021 before we see a lot on the lots. There are particular models and locations that are already discounting. For instance, the High Country Tahoe can be had for 6-8% off already if you are willing to travel and aren't picky on color/options. Some dealers seem to want to establish themselves as a location for selling a lot of units.
Highway mileage dropped due to the new model being larger and heavier. But city mileage improved due to the 10-speed, the cylinder deactivation and the dreaded start-stop. They likely put less emphasis on mileage knowing that they were going to provide a diesel option.
When I see these on the road I can't stop looking at them they are so luxurious but what happened to the Chevy impala, Malibu, Cruze, sonic, and spark they literally stopped making all 5 of those cars can someone please tell me why
I saw a lot of cheap hard plastic trim on the interior, old fashion gauges, and cheap plastic looking buttons and an option sheet that includes an option for driver-assist features that most companies are including free are an option on the Chevy. For a loaded Chevy to spend $80k is ridiculous, A Chevy SUV loses 1/2 their value as soon as you drive off the lot.
To PAY $80K for that loaded Chevy is ridiculous. But they are already well-discounted in many areas. The interior is actually a step up from the previous model in terms of materials and design. Certainly on a par with the equivalent Ford and Toyota competition. The adaptive cruise omission in some models is a miss. It's also disappointing that you can't get the diesel in the off-road variants due to the front end redesign in those models.
Chevy gets top score in everything but those uncomfortable 🥵 seats and loud buzzers . How about a Recaro option and a back door to turn off the loud naggers ? Every other pickup has a way
Lol. I’m in a 2014 Chrysler Town & country base touring model. It’s a bit older model than the Pacifica. I was simply looking at other vehicles. 😂😅. Just kidding.
I almost got a fully loaded 2018 Tahoe RST but they wanted 51k. I went with the 2021 base truck instead. I am glad because this thing is super smooth and spacious.
I wish they would talk more about workmanship and quality. For instance, in 30k miles, will the thing start squeezing because of cheap interior? My Honda has 200k miles, drives like new. Same for Tahoe? Or, is it cheaply built on the inside, and will the engine let me down on the interstate? That's what I really want to know.
It’s sad how they can’t even have LED for their turn signal lights 😂😂😂 and the fact that they have to manually move the back seat so you can sit all the way in the third row 😂😂😂 saddest shit I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂
Manual is much more reliable. Most people don't mind and actually prefer that. Volume nobs also manual. It's not hard to more, at least for some people
You don't need an SUV to drive around a city or the highway 🙄🙄. Spending the extra cash on a fully loaded sedan will give you way more comfort and save you a lot of gas money
Where is the purse storage? Women's purses can cost upwards of $500. We do not want to hold them in our lap like an old lady or store them on the floor to be stepped on or throw them into the backseat (where we can't get at them) when we're in the passenger seat or when we're driving and there's someone in the passenger seat. There's another vehicle that has adapted the center console to have a storage area for the purse. EVERY SUV should have a similar feature.

This really impressive that the Tahoe and Suburban LS still have 9 seats available
Why? For their price and weight and bulk they should hold 12 people.

Its a shame that they are phasing out their sedans. Given how great their suvs are looking lately,
