Wish they’d bring adaptive cruise control to the lt/rst/z71 models, not just the premier and high country. That’s a major fail in my book. I love how high up the seating position is though 9:48, makes you feel safe next to semi trucks

Seems like a really nice redesign, the old one has basically been unchanged since 2015. I personally prefer a column shifter over the buttons, but technology in cars is continuing to increase so things like that are expected, and I do actually like the aesthetic look of the shifter buttons with the way they're integrated into the dash.

They took a whole 8 years to come out with the 2015 redesign. Who knows when they’ll come out with the very next one. It probably won’t be till the 2027 model at the very least

Both the Tahoe and Suburban made since 2016 with the 5.3, burn oil like a mfer... My Tahoe burns through 3 quarts of oil in between oil changes... Word of advice. go get the Active Fuel Management disabled as soon as you drive one of these off the lot... Switching between 8 and 4 cylinders really puts a strain on the engine, coil packs, and spark plugs. and driving these large ass heavy vehicles while only 4 of the cylinders are active burns that oil like freakin crazy... So, yeah, get that AFM disabled. any auto shop should be able to plug into it and do it... Or, get the 3.0 Diesel or 6.2 V8... They don't have the AFM in them.

Give it 4 years and it will be rusting out, burning oil, air conditioning not working and bouncing on blown struts. GM has zero quality control. I work on them, have a friend who traded off a 2016 LTZ tahoe that GM thinks is ok to try and charge $6,000 to fix rust that's not covered by any warranty because it doesn't have holes threw the body, may have been covered if it rusted out completely...The other list of issues on it are oil cooler lines leaking, transmission cooler lines leaking, air conditioning not working due to the condenser leaking, burns 3 to 4 quarts of oil between 5,000 mile oil changes, blown out front struts (stupid expensive magnetic ride) GM should go out of business if they are not willing to fix known issues. It's sad that they wouldn't do a damn thing about the problems that it had on the air conditioning because it ran a few thousand miles past the "extended coverage" they couldn't even find the part if they wanted to fix it, was told they didn't know when the condenser would be available. I make money on fixing them but I feel bad for people who buy a $70,000 vehicle and get told in under 5 years too bad, it's not something we can cover, here's a bill for $200 for looking at it. Here, buy a new one, this might last passed 70,000 miles before you need to spend $15,000 to keep it safe.... Seriously, stop buying GM junk, they have gotten steadily worse each generation since the 90s because they only care about cutting costs, quality be dammed.

I had a Nissan Armada that gave me very few issues save for how thirsty she was, honestly the expedition is sweet and I've been pretty impressed by the ecoboost....but Ford is an automatic no for some, so that leaves you with german stuff that's too expensive and stupid to keep up....if towing isn't more than a u-haul for a kid's trip moving to university the Honda pilot or new Acura MDX for more luxury.... Nissan pathfinder is meh, as is Toyota Highlander also low on towing.... Durango has 3 rows too and can tow similar, my money was on 2017 MDX, would get another when new style is out for a while. Actually the subaru accent and VW Atlas were both nice but reliability unknown as both were new when I bought.
