I’ve had German shepherds and I can say that your two are fantastic dogs. Jasper has grown into quite the handsome boy.
handsome boy all right. And Jade is quite the fine specimen of her breed herself.
They are so well trained. I love that you keep their minds active. Many people forget that not only do dogs need physical stimulation but mental stimulation as well.
That is true, also I believe she said they are working dogs, or maybe just come from a working dog line. German Shepard’s themselves are a working breed but a working line means the litter and the parents are work dogs
You're excellent dog parents. The time you spend with them is incredible, from the grooming, food, training, and then there's the time you put into stimulating their minds and engaging them. Super job.
Jade and Jasper are very beautiful/handsome housewolfs. I wish I had room in my apartment for one, but the Maine Coon cat that owns me won't allow it. Darn.

I was raised by my uncle's black female, worshipped the ground she walked on. These two are absolutely beautiful creatures!
Greman shepherds are the most beautiful and sweet and cute and caring and loving and smart and intelligent and loyal dogs ever and I honestly love them so much
Couldn't agree more!
Sadly they they also often have health problems due to over breeding. Work line dogs are less prone to diseases but are often harder to train.
@@svenweihusen57 Agree MILLION times with over breeding and that is heartless ! Making money on animals sufferings it is cruelty and criminal! Not speaking about this video and this dogs or ovner! Generally speaking! While MILLIONS dogs pure or mix breed you can Adopt in the SHELTERS or RESCUE and Save LIVES! Dogs on this video are BEAUTIFUL but i ALWAYS have RESCUE DOGS!

I have a 5yo female GSD. She was my husband's dog and was extremely bonded to him. He passed away in 2018, and after a tough year for the both of us, she finally bonded with me and now rarely leaves my side. I'd love to learn more about training her--any info, tips or tricks you could share would be greatly appreciated!
If she was your husband dog, do the same as your husband did-training by playing and showing your affection for her and repeating the same commands
I have a 3 1/2 old female GSD. My husband passed away in 2018. She was his pup at the time. She would always look for him. He loved dogs. I also have a sable boy who is 11 now. They are both great dogs. I had a solid black female, she passed away. Just give her your attention and talk to her. They know what you are saying. Very intelligent breed. Sorry about your loss.

Difference that Jasper would agree with: Jade just wolfs down her food while Jasper saviors his.
Relatively speaking they're both pretty dainty eaters for GSDs. I've had two of them and both ate like it was a mission to get whatever's in front of them into their stomach. Flavor, taste and enjoyment be damned, just inhale it. Nice job on the training, so much fun to do with these dogs. They're just smart and willing to learn, you get the message through to them and they'll do it. Great dogs.
My favorite dog breed! I have a 3 year old female named Mimi and she is bright, energetic, loyal, protective and beautiful. She is my second German Shepherd and I will never have any other breed. My first had the same qualities but he was more laid back and gentler, I miss him dearly. He looked a lot like your Jade does. Your pups are very well trained. Since lockdown I've been able to work with mine more and the results are impressive. They are quick learners and want to please!

Such beautiful and perfect examples of the German Shepherd breed.
They're very nice dogs, but not perfect examples of the breed.
Their eyes are too light (standard calls for dark eyes), and Jade is far too large (females should top out at 24" at the withers). Their ear sets are also too high.
That being said, every dog has their faults, and none will be perfect examples of their breed as a result.
@@Kelsie154 you are pulling my leg, never have I seen two more beautiful dogs, the GSD fraternity have been breeding them with far too sloping backs and goodness knows what else, these two are perfect!

I have a 4yr. Old Sable female, her face is almost all black with black ears. She is my third GSD but is my first Sable. My Black and Tan passed away 4 weeks ago in her sleep, she was 13, 100lbs of love! Way more laid-back than the Sable. JAGER is a high drive, very protective girl and the most fearless shepard I have seen. Such a wonderful personality. I live alone so we are quite close.

I'm ignorant about training German Shepherds (or any other breed of dog), except a Saluki and a Borzoi i once was fortunate to have owned. Anyway, Jade and Jasper are impressively well-behaved and obedient. It's lovely to see happiness shine from their eyes when they can complete any task you've given them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful, happy dogs with us.

I am not a dog person largely. Further, I’m not an Alsatian person. I’m clearly not qualified to judge these two dogs. However I think they are truly truly beautiful creatures. They are intelligent, sweet-natured and obviously consider themselves to have the best job in the world, which they carry out with every fibre of their being. They are delightfully trained, wonderful companions and just haltingly lovely dogs. What fantastic additions to the family.

people who live with all animals are. When I'm too decrepit to properly care for dogs, I'll stick with my cats,ferrets, birds, cockroaches, frogs, musk turtle, and *still* be happy. I have a theory that people with animals are happy because even on the dark days, another being requires them to tend to their needs. Thinking of someone else, stops you fixating and obsessing about what is temporarily making *you* unhappy. What do you think?

I miss our GSDs, I was raised with them. When my last 1 passed, I couldn’t get another dog till ready. We ended up fostering then adopt’g an abused rough Collie.Have to give him a good life now,then maybe we’ll look for a Shepherd to rescue

Jade and jasper are both very good and very well behaved greman shepherds
I like it that you walk and train them a lot. Where I live people get GSD often because they look good but they don't want to exercise and train them. Then the dogs behave badly and their owners put them in crates because otherwise they will eat the couch.

I've followed you on Facebook for a while. I love the subtitles. I have dogs too. 13 of them. I've noticed over the months that Jade will scoff like she imagines there will never be another meal. Jasper on the other hand likes to enjoy and savour his food, especially if it's something 'cronchy'. If they were human, Jade would eat at KFC and Jasper would prefer somewhere where he got an 'amuse bouche' then hand fed, orgasmic, free range, triple roasted 'chimkin' with a red wine jou , take half an hour to eat it, savouring every bite, then write a review about it lol.
I love that you are 100% dedicated to doing what these dogs need by way of training and proper off lead exercise in order to keep them physically and mentally fit. So many , sadly, want the breed because of the image, and simply aren't prepared to put in the time to keep the dogs happy and turn them into polite respectful adult dogs.
In my life I have owned most of the large German breeds. My favourite is probably the 'Riesen Schnauzer'. Sadly, in the 1980's, GSD became too popular, were bred without anyone being interested in pedigrees, temperament, type or hereditary issues and, back then, hip scores were in the 3 figures!!

I grew up with a German Shepherd-from 7 years old to 16... She was a sister for me!!! Used to sleep under my bed, lot of walks with my best friend "Soso" and roller skates (yes..)... She is still in my heart and will be there forever.... 💖💖💖💖 My loved Burska

Great dogs. It's good to see GSDs with good conformation. I see a lot with weak hips. Excellently trained.
I have a Jasper too. He is a Yellow Lab but not as well trained.
But just as loveable, right?
My sable GSD is also from a working line, and he just LOVES to 'talk', when i'm rubbing his belly he likes to growl and whine lol.
He's 9 months old now and already weights about 81 lbs

You have trained them so well. We have Bruno who is 95 lbs and will be 9 in a month. A week ago we brought home Uli, who is his niece. At 8 weeks she weighed in at 19 lbs. They are both red and black and are big! We also have an old Rottie, Lily. They are great dogs!
