Funnest shit ever.
I was born in 2002 as well and I loved listening to him my whole life. When I lived in Africa in 2010 Matisyahu was the main songs we would listen to in the car.

The coffee shop version of this song is probably my favourite, and the story behind it made it even better. I wasn't a Matisyahu fan a few days ago...in fact I hadn't even heard the name since he first hit the scene....but I'm sold now. I haven't been moved by a song in a long time, but One Day opened up a part of me I can't even explain.
I was at a festival and they had these "after shows" that costed a lot extra. One of the shows was Matisyahu. Me and a group of people (probably about 10 of us, all strangers) were just kind of hanging around the venue trying to figure out if we could somehow get in. A guy comes out of nowhere and is like, "y'all trying to see the show?". He said "Line up right here and I'll be right back." So of course we did but we started thinking he wasn't coming back. A cop started hassling us and trying to get us to leave. The guy came back just in the nick of time and convinced the cop that we were with him. Then he took us all around to the back entrance of the club! We walked in the door with Matisyahu! Great guys:)
Matis practices what he preaches, he gets the big picture. I believe in humanity again after seeing the coffee shop vid and then to find this. Never had goosebumps this big. What an amazing human.
Matisyahu performed at 2011 Shangri~La Festival in southern MN and at the end of this song I started to notice quite a few fans were getiing up an dancing on the stage. After a minute I realized it was Matis himself helping his fans climb onto the stage. The song ended with an entire stage full of people from the crowd singing and dancing. Awesome memories!
Incredible experience for everyone!! Notice the drummer, he never takes his eyes of Matis; he follows his every lead, movement and subtle cue. I've never seen a drummer "read" his Lead singer so carefully. Typically drummers get lost in their own vibe but surely this is not the case here. GREAT drummer.
Bro this is what I always struggled with as a lead vocalist. Drummers lost in there own little world and your trying to do some cool cuts and shit. Lol

That's awesome. I have watched that coffee-shop video endless times... so great. Good for them. Taking him to Hollywood... this whole thing... just... makes my heart happy. He may have a questionable past but here's hoping that he'll find value in this experience and realize he can be a better person and do good things if he is conscious to his life, actions, and potential importance. what a legend. what a better gift than to uplift others
One of my favourite songs
Thank you Matisyahu and Keloa 🙏🏽
WOW!!! This kid is really lucky!!! I just saw the first vid in the coffee shop and now here they are!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is what humanity is about. Brotherhood and kindness, if we don't figure that out we're doomed.
Bless you Matisyahu!
You literally have no face, no name and murder people
This is absolutely great. Such a wholesome and awesome performance.
He smashed it bro this video gives me energy endlessly! Big love to your whole family
I watch this video quite a lot - it kind of gives me hope. It also got me into the music of Matisyahu. :-) I'm not Jewish or any religion, but his message is peaceful and awesome.
Hands down the best video I ever watched. Absolutely love this. My hair stands straight up. WOW
Really awesome story! Thanks for posting this. Peace.
This mans saves this young blood.. asks him to perform and on top of that saves him with his microphone wire... You sir, are the man. Thank you, sir!!
Absolutely beautiful. My heart just smiled so big. 💗
WOW,, crazy what Matisyahu did... so cool."One Day"!!
Kekoa needs to start a YT channel thumbs up if you agree
Thought he was in jail
@@shrekanddonkey9629 Unfortunately, he is (just looked it up on the Maui News website.) 5 year sentence for probation violation. So sad- Matisyahu gave him an incredible opportunity.
@@sallyannlady lets hope when he comes out someone can stare him in the right direction
Whats he in jail for?
Was introduced to this guy from the coffee shop video and now I love this guys tunes. So upbeat and positive in seemingly a negative world is awesome stuff. This type of music puts a person in a great place.
Mati is a generous man for sharing his stage with the man from the coffee shop.
So cool for him to invite to him to perform at his show.
Simple act. A lifetime memory. 💚💚
I love everything about this. What an amazing person and mentor
what an awesome story I love this never heard that song before today but now I'm a fan of them both!!!! 💜💜💜🎵🎶🎶♩🎵💜

I saw the Maui coffee shop video and can’t get enough of it!! It’s such a beautiful song and I love the way both you guys sing it together with the ukulele. It’s perfect. Thank you 😊
I have watched this, and the coffee shop video, so many times over the years and it is still one of my favorites. Such a special moment in time. Matisyahu is a wonderful human being. I am bummed I missed his show two days ago on Kauai. Nobody knew about it until tickets were sold out. I hope I’m able to see his show next time he comes to Kauai. L’Chaim, Shalom, Aloha, Blessings. ❤️🎶
When our light allows others to shine brightly #Blessed
AMEN
This is the cutest collab. Hats off to Matisyahu for inviting him into the spotlight
I already knew the chant was gonna be "E Ku Mau Mau" Right on braddah. Solid!
absolutely amazing to hear the artists doing that together . . especially after watching the video of the 'chance' meeting. ONE DAY !!
Such a sweet moment in history of music.
Matisyahu you are one in a million, your music brings me joy and hope. Your heart is in the right place, thank you. Watched the coffee shop video and then this keep spreading the love, it will catch the rest of the world eventually.
Anyone else attracted to Mati's new look? He's got a silver fox thing going on now.
He looks like 30 years older...lmao
He radiates beauty.
bonnieinla not trying to hate but he does look a lot older than 37. more like 47
Bodiablo because you of all people know what I'm attracted too. You got me buddy... Smh
yeah i agree, he's got a gorgeous smile
This is beautiful. Nothing much to say aside from that. Probably amazing feeling to be there live and experience the vibe.
I've watched this video and the coffee shop video many times over the years only to finally comment now. These special moments in life can never be choreographed in camera so you can only resort to watching these live quality videos.
Oh God this makes my eyes all misty. So Cool!!
Especially right after watching the coffee shop video!
God bless you all!
Matisyahu is such a good human being. All heart and good soul. I met him at a concert in Oregon in 2009. I found out I was pregnant with my first baby that morning and got to dance on stage with friends at his concert. He was honestly very humble and kind.
This is GREATNESS!! Just made a new fan out of me, mad respect!
This is one of my favorite RUclips Videos of all time. I literally watch it 5-7 times a week, just for a smile. Thank you!
