We can all agree that this video was made to show your wife that it wasn’t “a stupid idea” to get one 😂
Lmao probably, I use a Milwaukee transfer pump, wouldve done that tank in 60 seconds lol
@@zbruh7268 lol
that's just you
It’s to prove it to your bros tbh
Well theres 598 guys who would agree with you.
I use it to siphon gas out of my neighbors car. Works like a charm.
i love you dude and i don't even know you😭😭😂😂
Really, its your neighbors' fault if their fuel filling hole is big enough to fit this.
@@groadybones buddy buddy buddy….. it clearly would have to be modified in order to retrofit a hose on the siphon end in order to get into the tank. But it wouldn’t work for long anyway
@@groadybones that's what they say about me on the weekends 😂😅
🤣
I need one for absolutely no reason. I’d find use for it.
Same. Ill put it near my mini Milwaukee vacuum I use once a year.
Exactly 👍
Didn’t even know that was something they made. Very cool
Milwaukee makes tons of crazy tools you never knew existed
@@MrEvtmazda id like one of their can openers
Yea, its like a Budweiser piss👉😀
I don't even get surprised anymore considering they sell a $400 plunger
Power tool companies make all sorts of odd stuff that run their batteries.I’ve seen a Makita radio, coffee maker and other odd items.
I'm still waiting on the m12 tooth brush👍
hope it’s not a brushless lol
@@aaronprice3833 😂👍
Tooth enamel has left the chat
Still waiting on the M18 plumber's truck 🪠
I'm 65 years old I could only wish for a flow like that😂
Easy, just wire a battery up to your tallywacker and presto! 👍
Lol
Flow max
Drinking All them Dr. Peppers and Natty lights done finally cought up withcha 😅
🤣🤣🤣 63Here 🤣😜🤣
That looks like it would be great for pumping out footers.
Flooded water meters, sump holes, I have a bunch of ideas 😅 at least enough to make me buy it lol
@@MillisConstruction good for you man .👍
I’ve definitely needed this at all hours of the night after digging out and repairing underground electrical primary.
And pumping-off headers! Zong!
We use them for meter pits. As long as there's no mulch in them they work well.
Aside from using it to discharge water, you might be able to use it for a camp shower. Screw on a 1/2” Flexi hose and hand held shower head 👌
Exactly what I did except I run it's output thru a EcoTemp L5 heater.
Very good idea!!
Gotta love those rare times we get to use unecessary crap we buy.
What’s wrong with a bucket?
@@dnlfrkmn
How you get a bucket down a toilet tank? This things awesome
@@dnlfrkmn in this situation for the short technically a bucket is fine.
For when you have to handle something that's flooded and you can't get your five gallon bucket or whatever down into the pipe or whatever it's perfectly fine to use this
If you lived on a ranch, you'd know that a trash pump is essential. I actually had to use mine last week to pump out a watering trough (an oval galvanized one for cattle) just like this. I used it connected to an IBC tote to water new plants down at the entry gate. I used it to pump the extra herbicide from last year back into the sprayer. A million different things. Owning livestock and a large ranch is a full time job. I do it when I get home from my actual job, plus I have 2 full time employees at the ranch, one of them lives there full time. There is always work to do. The amount of tools and equipment you need is staggering.
I’m a pool installer and we use them to get water that’s been sitting in a spa down really low to tile it. Great tool
I'm pretty sure you can improve your battery life by attaching a hose 1.5 times longer than the pipe.
That way siphoning pressures will be helping you pump down reservoirs instead of it all just going into accelerating individual droplets to the ground.
Yeah - that's a great idea and I'd bet this device could be shut off to save the charge on the battery
The length of the hose doesn't matter as long as it's at ground level.
@@allaboutroofing2 *As long as the end of the hose is lower than the intake
Thanks bill nye the science guy.............
Just saying... that if you have service or flush several reservoirs to tend to on a near daily basis then saving battery life by using siphoning line can save money and time.
Picked up one of these for pumping out our hot tub. What a game changer as the slender shape of this thing sits right down to the bottom of the filter housing and empty’s a 350G hot tub in 30-35ish minutes. Versus 1 1/2 hours out the gravity drain. Totally worth it!
Horse: “bout time you used that pump bill”
Horse: you call that a flow... thud... this is a flow!
I'll race you with a dollar store bucket. The winner keeps the pump 😂
😂
Exactly 😂
A piece of hose would also do the same thing lol
those troughs all have a huge drain plug, too.. mine all have drain spigots..
😂😂😂
why u need the pump if you got the bucket then🤷♂️
Would make a good spare bilge pump for the boat
Good for awhile and then your going down😂
4 hours later and 12 battery charges and it's done!
That Milwaukee battery lasts for many hours 4 hours is no problem on 1 charge
@@ericschulze5641 Seriously doubt that battery is lasting anywhere near 4 hours doing that.
@Austin Michael you probably have a ridged brand they suck the batteries only last 20 minutes if your lucky. The guys not the smartest anyway, when all you need is a scrap of garden hose or a shop vac hose and you can siphon it off while doing something else
@@ericschulze5641 I don't own any ridgid. This still isn't lasting 4 hours
Idk, I ran my m12 fuel impact all day running deck screws in before I needed to recharge it. 6amp xc
Never seen that before that’s pretty cool, now I’m gonna buy one and wait for an excuse to use it😂
Just take a bath and then pump out the tub into the toilet lol.
@@LoFi_Punk man i like your thinking
As a pipeline welder this thing is the best tool I’ve ever bought
I’m in journeyman lineman in the ibew and I’ve been on many underground jobs where this thing would’ve been more handy than a pocket on a T-shirt. I don’t do underground much anymore, but if I ever take another underground call, I’ll definitely be buying the M 18 version.
Welder, grinder, helmet ...naw
You choose a irragater, haha.
Must the fuel attendent.
@@KA-om9oz nah man gotta get the water out of them holes were in
@@KA-om9oz laugh until you get soaked once and the stinger is zapping you.
If you don’t do underground anymore what do you do now? And why did you stop doing underground? Thanks
I wonder how well it works in muddy water... That water looks pretty murky so I'm sure it will work. That is a great product for Irrigation Technicians.
Earlier today, my husband said he got my birthday present. A few minutes ago, he sent me this video. Oh my heck, I SO hope this is my present!!!
Is that for your fanny?
@@vinceking7878don’t be weird dude.
Plumber are literally dying and going to heaven watching this. Even has the hose threads 😩😂🕊️
How about the
Fact that he has to fix a hole in the tank full of water …….
Why would he have to pump ….. 😂
Looks useful but for this application a good ol bucket probably be faster lol
those stock tanks have a 2" cleanout on the bottom... you just unscrew it and everything drains out....
Milwaukee is the best. They come up with tools to make your life easy..
Not Milwaukee’s idea if you type battery fuel transfer pump in google they have them for as little as $5 and I have a cheap one that can empty a 5gal gas can in less than a minute no big deal
Should be on every boat owners Christmas 🎅 list lol 😂
I’m getting one hopefully soon, because this will work perfect for my boat in case of emergency or even just to clean up the boat after some rain 😁👍
I like how it has a hose thread connection on the discharge so you can divert the water away from what you're working on.. i might have to get one lol
I trench for conduit. This thing is a life saver. Works well. I've had mine for about a year and it still works great.
How much water can you move on a single battery?
You conduit!
YOU should have made the video first!😜
My bilge pump went out in my boat. This worked great as a temp replacement.
That is a MUST HAVE on a boat. Cool
That is possibly the only valid use for this tool I can think of.
@@PatrickKQ4HBD I can see plumbers and irrigation technicians using this daily.
8 have absolutely no need for it but I want it
Never seen one of those before. That’s exactly the type of thing that sits around for 2-3 years never being touched, then all the sudden you get a situation that it’s the perfect tool for. As long as you can remember you’ve got it laying around lol.
I’ve slowly been accumulating Milwaukee power tools. I just love that I can use the same batteries for everything. My latest purchase was the Milwaukee weed trimmer. That thing RIPS!!!
Anyone else ever notice how badass tools are now? People can hate on Ryobi but we gotta give them credit for keeping good tool companies like Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, Etc competitive and innovative when it comes to seamless bells and whistles for toolmen.
Depending on how much continuous run time it has, you could use it as a camp shower.
Had not thought of that. Awesome.
Legends say he's still pumping that horse trough to this day
For a hole he said he had to fix on the tub that’s filled
I like the m18
transfer pump Milwaukee has. It works really well
Need this for my family’s horses!!
Did it empty it out with just that 1 6ah battery?
Just siphon it out... no need for a pump
We are becoming dumber as we get more sophisticated tools.
I have the ryobi version and I use it with my rain water barrels to water my garden and to top off the above ground pool… worth it!
Ordered one today, awesome! We have a animal rescue/ military boarding home, during deployment up at high altitude Colorado. It is a homestead and use a battery operated one now for filling water for the pups ectt. This would be superior thanks for sharing!!
Should’ve installed a 1” pvc valve as a drain while it was empty
Could have just drilled a hole near the bottom of the tank, then installed a PVC shut off before refilling the tank!
@@ScoocumAF that too though I’m personally sketched out by the thought of creating a flow of water that’s pointed directly at a battery powered tool that’s in your hands
@@pws3rd170 it's not gonna electrocute ya!
Those tanks already have drains at the bottom he probably just didn’t want to drain it all the way as well as put that little guy to use
You could do that oooor buy stupid tools you don’t actually need 😂
I usually just use my m18 vacuum. It works well for getting water out of toilets before pulling them.
As a small system operator we bought one for meter pits. Such a cool specialized tool.
Okay, that is cool. And when I'm doing sprinkler repair I'm constantly pumping out water.
On a budget, I had a 2-inch siphon that I used when I was cleaning the horse trough. I made it out of PVC. It would empty that tank pretty fast too. Just dip the whole thing in the water, put my hand over one side to keep it primed, and then hang it over the edge.
I would clean out their water trough anytime it got looking so nasty that I wouldn't drink out of it. During the summer, it was a regular chore.
Ah yes. Typical Milwaukee owner. Gotta show it off. 😂
Like 2 Milwaukee videos out of 400 on my channel… lol 😂
He better have a whole bunch of charge batteries to pump out that much water!.. .
Check mate huh
Could have just siphoned most of it anyway and used the pump at the end if necessary but at that point he could probably just flip the tub over
The M12 tools are great
Would be cool if you made a small sprinkler pipe attachment it would also double as a stand
I use it to get the piss out of the drawer before mom sees
underrated comment 🤣
Why? That’s what the drawer is for, you gotta wait for it to dry and scrape the film out
Definitely would come in handy when repairing sprinklers and irrigation lines.
A garden house siphon would work too.
I’m a plumbing contractor and I’m getting on of those today. That one be the ticket for flooded meter bases. Thanks for the post
A pail is cheaper and faster 🤷
Would be good for emergency drain pans (HVAC) if you could adjust or shorten the pump length
What do hvac guys only use drain pans.. plumbers do too
There used to be cheap generics of pumps like this but they have gotten hard to find so im glad milwaukiee is making these
I use DeWalt for most of my cordless tools but I'm a fan of the M12 line of Milwaukee since that's what my father in law uses, they never stop surprising me with the gadgetry lol
No sir I have not tried it but now I feel like I need one😂😂😂
It’s one of those “make an excuse to buy it” tools 🤣🤣
If there’s a hole why not use the hole to remove water?
Because this is an advertisement
its awesome to see all the new battery tools in the last few years. sure beats a rack and pinyon
I strap down a cover on my patio furniture for the winter time and water accumulates on the cover. I use mine to get rid of the pooled water rather than unstrapping and dumping the cover.
Has a hole already, uses pump.
The horses created the hole so you would empty that nasty water you had out there for them lol
How are they even alive?
That's one of those things that you rarely need, but when you do, it's exiting to use and to have haha! Our buildings are full of things like this lol!
I have the m18 pump, I am also a plumber but I use it all the time for leaks in yards and hard to drain water heaters as it has a 3/4 male inlet and outlet extremely useful
This is very cool specially when ur in areas where u don't have power for an actual pump
I wonder how well this thing moves diesel/oil
Extremely well.
I've seen videos showing the larger M18 pump being used to transfer fuel
I repair appliances and now I want one for when I have to drain out a washing machine 😂
Excellent 👌☺️
Dude i didn't even know this thing exists! Gotta get one.
Laughs in .99¢ siphon hose
That's not the only use for it... Try siphoning out a flooded water valve access pit.
Every tool has it's use.
@@volvo09 $200 verse about $15 for a drill transfer pump
I use it to pump out water meter boxes. I love that pump!!
Me, when i was 18 years old.
Hell yeah!
I'm an old skateboarder and we like to clean out abandoned swimming pools to skate them. They are usually partially filled in the bottom with scum water that we have to hand bail out currently. This would work awesome for that.
You’d need like $700 in batteries to pump that much water
@@Meowface. Usually there's only a foot or so of water.
I use one as an iron worker to drain the holes of column embedments. Helps to level the anchor bolts and set the baseplate accurately
Milwaukee makes amazing stuff...the price is a bit higher but if it's a tool you'll use often its worth the money
That's one of them very specific tools that's usually complimentary in some set or bundle you've bought that was on special
Pretty darn cool tool
Perfect for car camping when filling up
I use a $9 bilge pump and run it off the Polaris. With 3ft. of plastic hose it fits in a bag that hangs in the drive shed.
I use the Milwaukee 120v power supply and a cheep large fish tank pump for this kind of thing. Works great if pump craps out a replace it.
Had one when I was doing underground plumbing thing was a life saver when ever someone would hit our pipes and cause a leak and I’d have to dig it up
In my little hunting cabin in the middle of nowhere I have been using rain collection for the water supply but it was not high enough to make any decent pressure, so when I saw one of these I got one a modified it so I can remotely turn it on where I need the water and I have a bunch of Milwaukee tools so I have plenty of batteries.
Man. Milwaukee is killing it right now. Been a DEWALT guy for a long time. But Milwaukee is really making me rethink things!!
Tools like this is why I threw my Dewalt away, and moved to Milwaukee years and years ago. I am a licensed electrician. Milwaukee has made so many specialty tools that help my job to be way easier.
Milwaukee makes every kind of tool.
They even have a battery powered bottle opener
Make a video of all of Milwaukee's unique tools
THAT IS PERFECT FOR RV TRAILERS. Filling your fresh tank or flushing your black tank while off grid.
I bought 120 VAC water transfer pump from Harbor freight for about $70, it’s built much better than their 12VDC pump, perfect for extended camping.
I knew it. You’re a good man otherwise horse wouldn’t be hanging out next to you. horses are excellent judges of character
Cheers for the heads up on how to empty my works lorrry ❤
Ahhh the justification video. This was me last week when a meter box had 4 inch’s of water, straight to Home Depot
Have one for work use it everyday to pump out meter puts, the cheap knockoff batteries are worth the risk I got 2- 5ah and a charger for $60 and they honestly outperform the original on runtime
Hey Bud, kool video, just bought one, works awesome for a lot of things
Then you have to stand there for the next 3 hours holding it while the tank drains.
Wow, that’s really impressive. I’ll keep that thing in mind.
Man tools is what made me want to do my own work. 😂
Ill be getting one of those! Ty. For the video! 👍
I could have used this today. Looks like a great tool.
Where was that earlier today. LOL I had to drag my generator and 120v water pump out so I could pump water out of a 55 gal drum so I could mix concrete. I didn’t need much water. I’ve never seen this Milwaukee tool. Definitely have to get me one ordered
Basement flooded and it worked wonders, the portability was the deciding factor for me
I wil be getting one to do water changes for my fish tank! Can’t wait to get it
Need one of these for doing sprinklers. When we have a break in a line or head and the hole is filling up with water while you’re scooping it out with a cut water bottle trying to fix the leak or break!
Yes!! I need this for plumbing. 🎉
