Very useful video as always! I have one question, if you could point me in the right direction! I have an Acer E1-571 (almost the same laptop as in your video). Laptop works on battery, on charger, i have charging light but the battery doesn't charge. I've tried with 3 batteries already, 4 chargers, charge the battery via power supply as in your video about laptop batteries, reinstall windows 8 and 10, still no luck! I like a lot of your repairs, but i like not seeing used of hot glue on an hinge repair.. It is a bit of a mess ... Yesterday i repaired on a Acer laptop 4 hinge screw standoffs with 2 component Metalset S2 from Loctite. Very hard and strong. It is the 4 th time that i do it like so. Screws go in like original.
What about when you plug the charger but there is light but not turning on even when the power button is pressed it light up for a second the off... a dell ...
You might have just sold my laptops's issue. I have same problem as you. When i measure the ground to ground, there is continuity but when I check the middle pin as you did, I see 1 on the DMM which probably means very high impedance. Does it mean middle pin is the issue? YOu reply would help a lot
