Since I am doing besides acrylic pouring also abstract acrylic paintings, I received a lot of questions about how I blend my acrylic paints. This is my second painting tutorial for beginners where I show 4 blending techniques with some tips and tricks, that I use for my acrylic paintings. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on using the plastic piece that you use to swipe through the paint to give the ribbon like effect. When I watch you do it it looks so effortless but when I do I don’t know if I’m trying too hard but it looks a mess.

Rinske I just love the 4th. I haven’t used my brushes and palette knives for eons having been carried away by fluid art and then your Dutch pour. Thank you for the tips too such as wet the brush and use a kitchen sponge in pieces. This is definitely playing with the colors. I have been commissioned to paint two very large pieces and doing fluid art would definitely be challenging. Have we told you how inspiring you are? I just watched the interesting video about your stumbling into the art world. I had been thinking you probably had a degree in fine arts. It is so lovely to posses that innate artistic feeling. You just know it. My degree is in psychology but now I am an artist. What freedom and satisfaction.
