I'm an Ex-Mormon from Utah, and I absolutely loved this movie. It's worth noting that both Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East (the actresses who played the two missionaries) grew up Mormon in real life. They based their performces on their cousins who went on Mormon missions.
Yes!! Thanks for your input and thanks for being our first comment on the video. Yes we are, personally, christian but my ladies mother is Mormon so I do understand their practices to a stand point. definitely was interesting to see the story unfold the way that it did and I am a SUPER A24 fan so I can't wait for their next film fs!!!
How are you doing today and how your day? I actually like the movie where it forces the two ladies to make critical decisions while testing their fate. Hugh Grant did a phenomenal job in this movie as the creepy old guy who had his own beliefs about things. I seriously doubt many people saw this movie due to the sensitive topics which was discussed. I would have never went pass that gate nor parked my bike just to ask him does he believe in Jesus Christ. He would be the only person on that list I would have skipped.
Lol FR!! it is seemingly allot of work to go through to ask someone if they are a believer.. especially given the fact they day is almost over and a overcast is brewing.. sometimes it would be better to just cut your loses and try again another day! But yes i do think quite a few people avoided this one but its a totally good watch regardless of background as i think it sits right in the middle very well 😊.. thank you for your input on this
@@Infinite8film Try again another day. I would not go to his house at all. I would make up something and have someone else go over there. Great review by the way.
Atheist here and the movie really did make me see faith a little differently but not enough to convince me any different. It's a good movie but dont think it will sway too many people to the other side of what they already believe
periodt.. i think more so people of a religion would feel the most about the film in regards to being offended in one way or another. but yea i do believe most people regardless of background wouldn't be torn by it. thank you for your input on this!!

How are you doing today and how your day? What will you remember about 2024 as you go to 2025?
