Just discovered this fabulous channel when it popped up in my recommended videos. I am now hooked and officially a fan of Daddy Jack! I have learned so much invaluable info about cooking from watching this amazing man at work in his restaurant. And I love it when he tells stories about his life, work and family, it's like chatting with an old friend! I'm a single girl who lives alone and always lived off microwave meals and takeout - not very healthy and heavy on the wallet! But I've been inspired to recreate several of the recipes here and can vouch they work! I wouldn't rule out having a dinner party soon, serving up one of DJ's bomb-proof dishes, of course. I'm a British fan and am seriously considering basing a holiday around a visit to Daddy Jack's beautiful restaurant. But I'd have to be sure of meeting the great man himself - it would be so disappointing to come all that way and not get to shake his hand! 3:07, 3:30 as a chef this guys attitude was shitty who was making pizzas. Especially knowing your in an open kitchen people will always want to watch. Dude wasn’t even busy. The whole time jack was talking to him he, turned one pizza in the oven and plated an order of wings. Then fired another white pizza. That’s not busy.
Joe was great but in the heat of the battle! If you're a chef Mike you can understand, he was jamming all night, not sure what you saw? The wings were the best I've ever had and his pies are to die for so give him some slack! You could be half as good as him and still be great. Jack

Cooking with the Blues DJ... wonderful video. Pawtuxet village is a beautiful little place... With a rich history in colonial America. Including one of the first acts of rebellion in colonial history. The burning of the British tax ship Gaspee. Every year the village hosts a Gaspee days... celebrating this historic act... Which proceeded the Boston tea party by a year. It’s an interesting piece of history if you’re ever interested in googling it. Best wishes to you and yours. Love your channel.💪👍
Daddy Jack if ya ever find yourself in the Pittsburgh area I’d love your take on the variety of pizza styles just a few clicks west into the berbs of Da Burgh... Almost everyone who’s grown up where I’m from craves their DiCarlo’s pizza, it’s even been mailed out, but it’s not something that can be eaten ummm as leftovers the next day once ya hit a certain age, just sayin. So there’s also this other spot, lets say a newer est, & they toss that doe up & make straight up pies, would love to see your commentary on P-Burgh area pizzas. This region has so many good pizza spots, from one pizza snob to another those were some beautiful pies & that was impressive how he worked the giant paddle & it had to have some stretchy doe geesh... yep luv what ya do, pleez keep’m comin Jack!!! Cooking with the Blues welp I was wanting to try to make the trek up your way & also check out New England this summer, we’re thinkin that or Caribbean. Depends on timing w/hubby’s work but been to Jamaica never been up north though.
