Since a 1j swap is about $7000.... I would much rather build a sub 500hp 7mgte for Under $5000..... And a 800hp 7mgte would only set you back about 7.5k...... So doing the math the 7mgte is a better bargain.... And 1000hp has been done before on the 7mgte.... 1000hp reliable 7mgte would set you back only about $12,000.... Much better price to performance than a 1j or 2j.... And since most the JZ fanboys run stock or full bolt on motors nowadays.... So You cant argue "WeLl aCtUaLlY tHe 1j CaN dO 1600hp WiTh $25,000 In MoDs"

I wanna know which is best and nobody can give me a straight answer I mean obviously a full standalone would be ideal.... But it's a bit pricy and not sure if it's worth it
10 gal fuel cell. Arp studs Weisco 60 over pistonss custom made wide Oil pan holds 8 qts .chimmed oil pump and drift motion oil line got rid of the oem steel pipe.
@@TheMk3SupraGuy Try racing from a dig. My 1JZ (320hp BPU) manual against my friends bone stock 7MGTE Auto, and we were neck to neck up until I reached 3rd gear then I smoked him. A BPU 7MGTE will do around 280-ish hp on 14 psi, just as much hp as the stock 1j but it will have more torque. It will be interesting to see them race from a roll
1jz swapped from a JZA70; Stock engine bay down to the OEM airbox, Metal PS Res., and charcoal canister, 4.10 torsen out back, JDM tails, euro fogs, euro bubble markers, jza70 momo steering wheel, 1jz tach, etc. its essentially a LHD JZA70 or if you prefer a jza70 clone.

7m is ok people say not to swap to 1j because it takes a while to setup, but performance wise the 1jz is better in every way if im not mistaken.
