The more common phrase is that we are in a "Junk slab error". So many cards are being graded like Moonbreon and Van Gogh Pikachu by PSA or other grader's for example that the market is being saturated with cards being graded to the moon. It's the main reason a raw card is the same price as a PSA 9.
Paldean Fates ETB for sure is left in the shadows. A time will come for it - even just having that gorgeous Mimikyu artwork makes it feel really slept on to me and very collectible. I'm hoping in a few months to still get the Pokemon Center ETB without some ridiculous price increase.

As a yugioh player i just started playing pokemon tgc. I played the games and stuff but never the tgc. My gf plays so i said id start playing with her. Got use to the game pretty fast with tgc live app. Way less confusing than yugioh for sure. Plus its a good way to bond more with my gf. This is definitely a good shout when i start buying cards now
the kingdra does have excellent artwork, the greninja is great too but i actually prefer the kingdra. you're probably right about obsidian flames being underrated. its a charizard set with some nice looking cards, so that probably doesn't hurt.

If you talk about "good investments" on singel cards like here you also talk about ungraded cards right? Atleast the prices you show. Agree with you completely on the sealed main line SV booster boxes. They were so cheap last year and I wish I had stocked up on more. Online stores had them at £70-80 each which is unbelievably low and probably close to distributor price. They've slowly crept up in value over the past few months and even with a reprint, I can't see them ever being available at much lower than £95.
What is your thoughts on the recent CT scanner/X-ray on sealed product videos coming out recently? Knowing it's possible to look into a sealed product and see what the holo is seems pretty detrimental to sealed investing if it becomes mainstream.
From what I’ve seen, it is not widely accessible to everyone but question is when people turn it into some sort of business strategy to cheat people out of the product they’re getting.
7:49 i've purchased one etb of scarlet&violet for the Miraidon promo as it's stunning in my opinion and also got the Gardevoir ex 245 from it, lucky purchase as i got the etb on a huge discount
I honestly think that even though that SV Base set booster box didn't get much traction at first, it's definitely gonna rise up in value in 5-10 years. Even those mid Sun & Moon sets are crazy expensive nowadays
CZ etbs are slowly going up in price but getting them now is still a good buy in price as well as the singles which have decreased from their mini boom. Not down to previous prices but sitll decent prices
So far, in terms of the S&V era, besides 151, Paldea Evolved & Twilight Masquerade are the sets to keep an 👁 out for. Obsidian Flames, aint too bad but the chase cards in that set aren't worth much at all. I get its a Charizard set and all, but the artworks are average in my opinion. Anyways, good video as usual man.✌️
Paldea Evolved singles will fall off over time, the fish is only an IR, which isn't very hard to pull, and the second most valuable card is a Trainer, which historically don't hold value in modern. The last point will also effect Twilight Masquerades Carmine and Perrin which are #2 and #3, turning TM into a Silver Tempest tier box if the Greninja stays around 200-250 raw in the first year.

Covid really made this hobby boom and kids are back on it again. While a lot during Covid maybe haven’t stayed, there’s new kids coming in to it everyday

If the Kingdra and Greninja weren't promos they would be insane right out the gate. The art on both of them is S tier.
As a collector I'm glad they are easier to acquire, especially since pull rates have gotten harder.

Paldean fates is definitely undervalued and unappreciated. I don't see lokemon reprinting this set because of 151 and paldea evolved.
