Blazefoxgaming I’ve been wondering for a while how effective a hidden blade would be to a ninja, considering you have no chance of dropping it, thereby less evidence to worry about. I already know that blow darts do have some relevancy to ninja from personal research, as well as rope darts. The White robes would definitely be a problem though.
@@goroakechi6126 Actually in the 1st game, when you really think about it the whole point of the right robes is to blend in with the monks and In every other game that starts you off with white ropes, there is an option to change it and long behold, a lot of them are either blue , green and Brown
I'm surprised that this still hasn't come up on this show: The Assassins Brotherhood from Assassin's Creed. Now hear me out, I know that a pure white cloak doesn't exactly make a good ninja, but I have points from each game that link to ninja tactics. AC1: Not even hiding it, the air assassination is the Tanuki Gakure no Jutsu. Stay higher than the average guard will look up to see, then capitalize on it. Next, while a white cloak may not seem ninja by itself, in AC1, the hood is used to help the Brotherhood not only hide their identity, but also let them blend in with similarly-dressed priests. And as I recall, ninja loved posing as monks to hide during missions. Then there's the iconic hidden blade, an exotic weapon that is small and hidden away from sight while also being able to be quickly accessed at the flick of the wrist. while not used by real ninja to my knowledge, it certainly sounds like the kind of thing they would kill for in real life. AC2: Here, we see more common tools used by ninja introduced in the form of portable medicine, which is one of the shinobi no roku, and poison, which you have stated that nina always used. for the poison itself, it is even said in game that the poison is actually just medicine just in a more lethal dosage, showing off some ninja inginuity in using the tools they have. We also have the Brotherhood being ahead of their time in terms of applying firearms, as Ezio incorporates a handheld gun into his hidden blade gauntlet. Brotherhood: Now we see the second justification of the hoods as Ezio uses his fellow assassins to achieve his missions, giving a real-life application of Bushin no Jutsu rather than the usual comparison where they just clone themselves. Also, they use bird calls to coordinate their actions between one another. We also have Ezio using a paraglider, not unlike the stereotypical giant kites ninja in media tend to use. Revelations: Bombs. Lots and lots of bombs. Smoke bombs may have been in earlier titles, but here we see the Constantinople Assassins craft a variety of different bombs. different triggers, different shapes, different payloads, there were a lot of options for what kinds of explosives you could bring with you. Do I even need to make the comparison here? Then there's the hookblade, which works in a manner similar to Shuko gloves that helped ninja climb walls. AC3: The rope dart as a whole. It's a kusari-gama in all it's functions. From tripping enemies in a fight to stringing things up high. Liberation: Aveline can dawn various disguises to better hide her work, being able to take the appearance of both a slave and a noble to better hide among certain groups to get information. AC4: Just as a quick knock-out, more poisons in the form of berserker and sleep darts. But the big one in this game is that the Caribbean Assassins show that the robes are by no means required to be white. While this may get rid of some of the effect of the Bushin no Jutsu, it gives the assassin's more room to camouflage to their surrounding, especially the robes of Duncan Walpole/Edward Kenway being navy blue. And as you say "Real ninja wear blue! :3" Rogue: ...I got nothing. Someone else can help me out. But seeing as how this game is about the templars, that seems fair. Unity: For the first time in the series, we have Arno scouting out his targets before entering their compounds, learning ways to cause distractions and better ways to get in. While past games did this too, it was more of an option rather than a gameplay mechanic. Syndicate: The grappling hook. As overly exagerated as it is and how it's more like batman's line launcher than a real grappling hook, the point still stands that grappling hooks were another of the shinobi no roku. Lastly, up until the rpg games, combat in the AC games was never about just blindly swinging a sword. While you could do that every now and then, it's the counter combat that takes priority, where you are encouraged to turn your opponent's attacks into openings for quick kills. If anyone else has any other points, let me know.

Just a recommendation, but I think the Agent 47 is a real ninja -His main form of Infiltration is in disguises, and guards will get suspicious if you are wearing weird clothes in a special area. Ninjas were also masters of disguise as they had to analyse areas to assassinate targets or sabotage them -His main weapons are guns(Ninjas used them even more the hand to hand), a carbon fibre wire(A ninja could have used rope as an improvised weapon like a noose), poison(Ninjas had a bunch of poisons on them), disguised mines(Ninjas had handheld bombs like the Torinoko smoke bomb) and more. -No one really knows his real name, similarly to how ninjas had to keep their identity secret -He uses the environment to kill, something that ninjas may have done -He knocks out most of his targets rather than killing them, only killing for specified targets, like a real ninja.

Gaijin, has RUclips really become so uptight that you have the censor the already censored naked ninja chick in your intro cuz I just can't get over the thought of that.
I've escaped many a foe by going up. When they pursue, which isn't always, I tend to have advantage...when they don't, I get to recuperate. And I do use object hiding. Not often, but I do.
The transformation jutsu is more useful in the city then the school stage since it also removes lock on as its easier to run away in the city. At the stage...stage is alot harder to hide
Its honestly always fun to watch these vids and notice patterns to tricks people have used in history and also helped me improve some of my game play. After watching your ninja series I learned the value of miss direction when using invisibility in games
So on comments about the ninjas bright outfits. Couldn't it still be camo? In brightly colored environments with bright, colorful lights at night, dressing in a bright outfit would be the best camo.
Speaking of the Usura Gakure No Ninjitsu, I was messing around in my orbiter in Warframe, and I noticed that the large Fortuna crates you can decorate are just large enough to conceal most frames when crouching with zero cosmetics attached. Also, the default lander air support serves to render security systems ineffective while the air support is active.
Honestly Gaijin you have made me fall in love with Japan’s history, and culture. Your videos are so interesting when it comes to Ninja and the history behind them I have watched you for years and you have inspired to travel to Japan and I look forward to what you have in store!
Up until now I thought Samurai were all master swordsmen who relied on subtlety as much as strength in combat. But APPARENTLY some of them just walked around with absurdly massive mallets that they used to *knock down buildings.* I love this.
One thing you guys might want to hear is the Shinobi Spinner. Sure, it’s basically a giant fidget spinner on a string, but it’s in the shape of a shuriken, it’s gum shot is a web that entangles enemies, and the sub ability lets you throw it, then teleport to where you through it for a follow up attack. I don’t know a lot about ninja stuff, so maybe you guys can find some more connections with this weapon.
Feels a bit silly for my comment to focus on the snacks of all things, but I just need to put it out there that my favourite treat just about ever is red bean sesame balls.
If you read some of the gum weapon skins they actually have some of the benefits he talked about like a boost in concentration or "soothing to chew" or "chew to cool yourself down" and this explains why the people that make the ninja gum make multiple types of 1 instead of mass producing 1 of each
You should do a video on revenant from apex legends. The more i think if it the more ninja like he his. He even has a rare animation where he does ninja hand signs before using his ultimate
I use the Drill and I usually go with the Gum Grenade to a below the surface strike once a opposing player is binded from the gum grenade which does work some of the time
Mint has quite a few utilitarian benefits, especially the oil. Spearmint and Peppermint aren't just used in gum and toothpaste, their oil is also used for pest control
The full game has a second version of the yo-yo (one of which is sadly a fidget spinner) and it's significantly more accurate as a heavy/sharp object attacked to a rope or chain. It also has a teleport move which is probably a trope but I wouldn't put it past you to find some truth in it.
I'm waiting patiently for the Raven Guard from Warhammer 40k episode ^^ PD:Yeah, yeah I know they are not true Ninja but for being capable to camouflage while in full power armor, get behind enemy lines and and bring hell to the enemies of mankind isn't a easy feat O_o
I think something brilliant about all the various costumes, is because its set in a modern time. With a lot of the previous videos, Gajin mentioned historical ninja would be able to blend in with crowds and appear as different professions using their arsenal and skills. So imagine applying this to the modern world. With so many people wearing all sorts of outfits, including cosplay, it would definitely be easy just to blend in with the crowd with such varied taste in outfits. And with such an obsession with ninja in the society of the game, who knows who could actually be a ninja. I think one other media uses this well, In Kamen Rider Shinobi, Everyone has adopted the ways of the ninja, there are even tournaments for ninjas. So the rider himself in civilian form would be able to blend in, while keeping the mask on to transform (most of the time). And If everyone is a ninja, anyone could be the identity Kamen Rider Shinobi. This could be tied in a video covering Either Ninja Steel/Ninninger, Since Shinobi and Starninger share the same actor
I wore the Shinobi Hachigane because that's as close to no hat as I could get since the none option is actually just a backwards snapback hat as I'm sure you already know.
That game is really fun, but I think we can all agree that it needs more maps, I’ve gotten to play like 2 stages so far and I’ve played at least 15 times now
In the Ninjala story mode they do go more in-depth with the concept of ‘space ninja’ in the world of Ninjala, it probably doesn’t have much to do with the advanced technology in this world but hey it’s there
You know, the really funny thing is... that if the whole world went absolutely Ninja Nuts then it would be perfect for actual ninjas as they could be caught doing almost ANYTHING and get away with it. Their classic blue outfit is so they can blend in in the night, but if they're tools are stupidly easy to blend in anywhere and EVERYONE is dressed like them makes them basically invisible.
talking about the masks reminds me of an old Batman The Brave and The Bold episode where on of his teachers required all students to choose an animal mask to better focus their training, such as batman leaning how to fight blind since he chose the Bat mask.
Also in ninjala there's an outfit called the road ninja outfit that has a big scroll on the back and a little scroll on the front of the outfit. I like it alot
For what I could get from Ninjala's animated episodes Burton, the blonde guy Who gets turned into a child, Is from the bloodline of Hanzo, which I suppose would make him a descendant from the Iga clan. Meanwhile Van, the White/purple haired kid, descends from the Kouga clan. Technically speaking these two are from two rivale Clans. Wonder how that Will turn out.
I’m curious about what inspired the special where in your ninja grabs a foe with a gum web and slams them into the ground thus 1 hit KO-ing them... Edit: I can tell that the yo yo teleport abillity is based if smoke bombs
Can I suggest doing a Which Ninja on the Assassin’s Creed characters? There is some aspects of the Assassins that seem very traditional ninja like, here I’ll give you a freebie! Altair, Ezio, Connor, and Edward all wear white robes and hoods which seems opposite of what ninjas wear since ninjas typically wore blue but in the early AC games blending in shadows wasn’t the main focus, the main focus was blending with crowds, in the first game wearing white makes the most sense since Altair blended with white wearing monks or priests or whatever they were, and the moment they added the typical stealth system guess what Arno’s default color is? Blue! Boom 🤯
Speaking of Japanese snacks, I tried mochi not long ago and I found the texture unlike anything I'd ever tried before. My mouth was caught between 'this is tasty' and 'oh god this feels weird'.
Ok, about the Odachi, if a ninja could transform a drill into a goddamn Odachi they definitely would like to have the option over not having it. They used short swords because of how easily they could conceal them, but if they could conceal a weapon like that as a utility tool, they would love it.

-No one really knows his real name, similarly to how ninjas had to keep their identity secret
-He uses the environment to kill, something that ninjas may have done
-He knocks out most of his targets rather than killing them, only killing for specified targets, like a real ninja.
And he doesn’t go into battle he just does what he told to do, he also isn’t one man army.
That last bit on masks now has me wondering how ninja Zuko is as the Blue Spirit
Im not sure how Ninja he was, but im guessing its somewhere along the lines of very (dude gave me legit nightmares because he was so silent and sneaky, which conflicted heavily with my cartoon crush on him... The life of a teenage girl is hard lol)
@@demonheart13 He's definitely sneaky enough to infiltrate multiple prisons to set free Aang, Appa, and Hakoda/Suki, and to pilfer some food from the ferry kitchens with Jet.

Never have I seen such an aggresion with drills.
I use the Gum-morph a lot, and am surprised how often it works. Others basically never using it helps.
One more thing that Ninja costume in the video is dark blue
I would watch the hell out of a anime of a advance alien being stranded in feudal Japan and being taken in by a ninja clan
ranwolf76 there is one and it’s funny but cringe worthy
They took the alien from the alien movie and made it white
Actually it is live action
That's Just Naruto (But You Don't Find Out Until Near The End).XD
Seems like something Studio Trigger would do
"I dont remember any stories of a ninja running around with a nodachi" killed me for some reason💀😂😂
The ninja lady at 0:10 (Don't know her name) went from no censorship to pixel censorship to a black box.
Blame the puritans.
@@GaijinGoombah Even with no censorship, nothing was showing. That's crazy.
They could not accept the cultured
@@danthiel8623 Ah, I see you are a man of culture as well.
I need that Ninja Elvis Picture in its full glory. Can someone link me the full source photo for that one?
That Iga, the place of OG ninjas, is swamped in pop ninja stuff had me cracking up.
Now that's what we call saturating the market XD
14:20 Is that a Marowak skull mask or somthing that really looks it?
Gaijin, has RUclips really become so uptight that you have the censor the already censored naked ninja chick in your intro cuz I just can't get over the thought of that.
I've used the uzura-gakure no jutsu during hide and seek. I have gone almost more than half an hour using it, works very well.
Aliens! OF COURSE!
That explains everything....
I've escaped many a foe by going up. When they pursue, which isn't always, I tend to have advantage...when they don't, I get to recuperate.
And I do use object hiding. Not often, but I do.
Always so calming when they relase a new vid they are always so interesting and informative
Also, the Yo-yo was originally a weapon before it was made into a toy, so a Ninja using a Yo yo would make sense.
A yo-yo hurts like a motherfucket so yeah I can see it being used as a weapon.
Yu-Gi-Oh!!! Season 0 flashbacks!!!
The transformation jutsu is more useful in the city then the school stage since it also removes lock on as its easier to run away in the city. At the stage...stage is alot harder to hide
it also quickens your health regen
Its honestly always fun to watch these vids and notice patterns to tricks people have used in history and also helped me improve some of my game play. After watching your ninja series I learned the value of miss direction when using invisibility in games
As you said, real ninjas wear blue. The default outfits, the Neo-Shinobi Overalls and their Mini variant, are dark blue.
Honestly here’s the thing;
These guys aren’t in a old school setting. So would they need to dress like stereotypical ninjas in a modern setting?
Yup: Cause Night Time Is Still Night Time And Your Ninja Ass Better Be Able To Blend In With The Shadows.
Honestly Gaijin you have made me fall in love with Japan’s history, and culture. Your videos are so interesting when it comes to Ninja and the history behind them I have watched you for years and you have inspired to travel to Japan and I look forward to what you have in store!
I was expecting this yesterday lol glad its up
Up until now I thought Samurai were all master swordsmen who relied on subtlety as much as strength in combat.
But APPARENTLY some of them just walked around with absurdly massive mallets that they used to *knock down buildings.*
I love this.
*I wear the charmant minidress*
This might be not he 100% ninja but I’m slaying and look killer in this outfit.
10:12 is... is THAT why monster hunter has a big ass hammer to wack monsters with???
Possibly.
No body sings the intro but i can here lyrics every time
I hope you get around to covering Snake-eyes and Storm Shadow from GI Joe. There's quite a lot to discuss.
I can’t be the only one who gets huge Splatoon vibes from this game
3:15 the Sengoku period equivalent of a sing-a-gram.
Not to mention, the yo-yo itself _was_ originally created as a hunting weapon, just like the boomerang
I hope you guys are doing good during this time! I love your channel!
I use the Drill and I usually go with the Gum Grenade to a below the surface strike once a opposing player is binded from the gum grenade which does work some of the time
before watching the video: "Oh boy they're in for a treat when it comes to story mode 😅"
"Aliens"
yeap the story mode loved it so much.......
To me which ninja is like how to be a ninja ya know
Is there any kind of background behind Naruto running or was that always stupid?
to think this game would be such a treasure trove I'm looking forward to seeing more
Mint has quite a few utilitarian benefits, especially the oil. Spearmint and Peppermint aren't just used in gum and toothpaste, their oil is also used for pest control
In all my life. Never have I ever thought or wondered about Elvis Presley as a ninja. Welp: 3:14
of course Elvis Presley is a ninja, it is how he fake his death and return to his natal planet 😎
@@Wreckur4203 I saw him the last year of his life. He looked dead already.
@@DanaTheInsane All part of the disguise! :V
The full game has a second version of the yo-yo (one of which is sadly a fidget spinner) and it's significantly more accurate as a heavy/sharp object attacked to a rope or chain. It also has a teleport move which is probably a trope but I wouldn't put it past you to find some truth in it.
I'm waiting patiently for the Raven Guard from Warhammer 40k episode ^^
PD:Yeah, yeah I know they are not true Ninja but for being capable to camouflage while in full power armor, get behind enemy lines and and bring hell to the enemies of mankind isn't a easy feat O_o
I think one other media uses this well,
In Kamen Rider Shinobi, Everyone has adopted the ways of the ninja, there are even tournaments for ninjas.
I have been waiting for this!!! Finally!!!!
I wore the Shinobi Hachigane because that's as close to no hat as I could get since the none option is actually just a backwards snapback hat as I'm sure you already know.
12:44
Satoru??!!
Does that mean there will be an episode abouts Ape Escape 3's Wonder Ninja? : )
I just downloaded this and now I can understand the ninja culture. What a great day!
I'm happy seeing this game does have some actual authenticity to it.
I will one day make ninja the musical, I don’t know how or when but I am
do you .....mmmm so do i 😔☺️
That game is really fun, but I think we can all agree that it needs more maps, I’ve gotten to play like 2 stages so far and I’ve played at least 15 times now
How much of Ninjala's weapons are inspired by the history of ninjas by design and how much is just coincidence?
In the Ninjala story mode they do go more in-depth with the concept of ‘space ninja’ in the world of Ninjala, it probably doesn’t have much to do with the advanced technology in this world but hey it’s there
Let’s see if Ninjala has study up and see how much of a ninja these kids are.
On the topic of ninjas, I want to know how ninja is the Gentleman Thief himself, Lupin the Third is.
talking about the masks reminds me of an old Batman The Brave and The Bold episode where on of his teachers required all students to choose an animal mask to better focus their training, such as batman leaning how to fight blind since he chose the Bat mask.
Did my phone actually notify me immediately?!
I know right?!
Hey Gaijin! Do a video on Lego Ninjago, probably the worst ninjas in fiction!
Even then yoyos were created as hunting implements.
That opening was so hilarious that I had to watch it twice.👌😂
“Do you really wanna know?”
“Yes!”
“Aliens!”
Well, I've seen some Frogs as a call to Jiraiya.
I enjoy your Which Ninja vids so much, I actually bought and read the Book of Ninja on my Kindle. Couldn't ask for a better and more interesting read.
Also in ninjala there's an outfit called the road ninja outfit that has a big scroll on the back and a little scroll on the front of the outfit. I like it alot
Legit tempted to try out Bokksu thing.
The booklet really sets it apart.
Honestly, I really love the selection. Cause I've NEVER seen half the snacks I get at Mitsuwa Marketplace or Ranch 99.
The otsuchi hammer looks like the korugane from monster hunter
That advertisement. Well placed, and actual recommendations on your part.
Looks interwting.
