    Hi, I cook Salmon wrapped inside an aluminium foil with few pieces of butter on the salmon top along with seasoning. I get nice juicy salmon after 8 minutes inside the air fryer.

      My salmon was still cold. I don't get why. I put it in for 4 additional min, and it was good. I love your video easy and simple to follow,

      Just like ovens, air fryers differ in their power/temperature, probably yours doesn't run as hot as mine. So probably with most air fryer recipes you'll need to add a few extra minutes. Glad the salmon worked out after all :)

    Lady Melanie - GREAT instructional video - nice & uncomplicated as usual my friend! Would this same procedure work for "frozen Tilapia-fillets" as well? Thanks again for your time in "schooling" us so well!

      Yes the same procedure would work for frozen tilapia! You might need to increase the cooking time, depending on how think are the fillets. Check them for doneless and if they are undercooked put them back in the air fryer for another 5 minutes

    Was the air fryer preheated before you put in the frozen salmon to defrost?

      I never preheat the air fryer. If it's not cooked through at the end, just put it back for another 3 minutes then check again.

    Hey quick question is the Air fryer suppose to get really hot to the touch. My Brand new air fryer gives off tremendous heat when cooking.

      I never noticed it, so I just ran my air fryer empty for 5 minutes just to make sure and it did not get hot on the outside at all. It's only hot inside when I open it.

      Not yet, but you can follow the same instructions as the frozen salmon and it should work! If it’s not cooked through, just add extra 5 min until it’s cooked

    I tried this last time frozen to thawed worked but thawed to cooked didn’t I had to set it to atleast 15mins at 400 to cook all the way through

      Air fryers differ, also depends on how thick the fish fillet is, just cook as long as needed to cook through

      Lol good idea :) I was just too lazy to flip the fish, and 1 side is sufficient for thin fillets like these

    Thanks for this video but I followed your instructions perfectly and mine was still raw in the middle why is that? Maybe mine were too thick?

      Sorry they were still raw. Yes, if they are thicker they’ll definitely take longer to cook. Just put them back in the air fryer for another 3-5 minutes so inside fully cooks. Good luck!

      I'd do 4 minutes at 400F and check them, if not cooked then add another minute or two

      Of course you can cook it longer until it's cooked to your liking :) Also, if the salmon fillet is thicker it will need more time to cook through

    your salmon filets must’ve been thinner than mine bc the middle was raw.

      Yes these are very thin fillets. The thicker is the salmon, the longer it takes to cook. If they are raw in the middle, please cook it for an additional 3-5 minutes.

    Fyi, you're not suppose to use Pam on air fryer. It removes the non stick coating. Use olive oil spray instead.

      You can run it empty at 400F for 30 minutes, it will burn off the smell
