That third guitar player is Jamie Kime. He is a member of "The Zappa Band" (a touring band made up of Zappa band alumni and Vaultmeister Joe Travers on drums) . I'm looking forward to seeing them again in July (in what was East Germany) for the Zappanale Festival. They're playing as "The Band from Utopia" On an unrelated note, for those of you who know, also playing Zappanale is the band Gong. I have been trying to see these guys for 50 years and every time something goes wrong and either they don't make it or I don't make it. Finally I'll be seeing Gong. On even more of a tangent, Jon Anderson of Yes will be performing with kids from the School of Rock. I know those guys! I'll finally be able to meet Jon Anderson.
Been in to Gong (and their many musical styles and iterations) for many years - and they are superb indeed.......what I don't understand about myself is how I've 'missed' Zappa back 'in the day' and since then. And now Zappa plays Zappa......can't stop listening and marveling at the skills
It's Terry Bozzio who sits behind this drum kit!!! on vocals and sax Napoleon Murphy Brock of course Steve Vai who joins Dweezil on "Trouble every Day"... Zappa Can play Zappa!!!
@@RoryreactsI put the comment seeing him sneaking from behind ...I heard after That you recognized him;"the cute Little drummer" Now he have a crazy drum kit , I mean really crazy!!!! ruclips.net/video/5qHphdbfFUg/видео.html that's a small one😂
This concert came with a 3cd set of first tour Shot and edited amazingly with multi camera set up Peaches en Regalia won a Grammy and is shot perfectly You see and hear how all 3 guitars work together
A couple of great early Dweezil numbers to check out are, I Want A Yacht with his brother Ahmet and Bobcat Goldthwait and Let's Talk About It with his sister Moon and cameos by several famous people.
I went to this tour and all other ZPZ tours Shout out to Shiela Gonzalez I loved watching here play sax or flute and Keyboards simultaneously I hope ZPZ goes back out under whatever name and Dweezil and Shiela are reunited on stage
There's nothing like a sexy sax solos, beautiful guitar tone oohh my goodness that was awesome!! Gorgeous!! Thank You Rory, awesome reaction of course!! 😊💓🤘✌️🎷🔥 And thank you Peter K. Incredible drum kit WOW!! I always wanted to play the drums when i was very young, used to drums my mom's pots and pans.
Dweezil spent two years putting together this tribute to his fathers work. The effort must have been overwhelming at times, but totally worth it... Stunning!!
Terry Bozzio played on Korn"s untitled album from 2007... He gives Korn a new perspective in composition and rhythm. It's quite brilliant! he even has writing credits on several songs. check out "I will protect you" from that album. that's one of his songs. David Silveria, their original drummer, can't even compete on the same level as Terry. Not even close. It's kinda' like matching up an Olympic athlete against a High School freshman...
Joe Travers, the second drummer, is the Vaultmiester for the Zappa family trust. he is in charge of sorting through and documenting the literally THOUSANDS of Reel to Reel tapes Frank accumulated in the course of his career. Dweezil and Joe have known each other since they were Teenagers.
I saw Dweezil his first ever tour with Ahmet singing ( probably around ( ShampooHorn ) Joe drummed It was in a small club and they did the whole TV commercial medley
good point Tim. I was a sound person for 20 or 30 years for mostly simple gigs. Yes, I mostly worked alone or with one other person and Zappa plays Zappa probably had a large team. Still with 3 guitars, bass, 2 full drum kits, various perc. , sax, keyboards, 2) vox: It's a lot of professionalism that's apparent, especially considering how good it sounds.
Dweezil appears to have pops SG mosque have some badass paf Onnit I played in SGI should have copped it sounded fantastic people were malandron close to me at the store when I was playing it that's a good sign never let that one go by
Real musicians playing real music! . a rarity theese ndays, and sometimes if feels like Steve play even better the Frank. Sacrilege, I know....I probably just miss Frank!

This should always be paired with Trouble every day! ALWAYS!!!
Frank Zappa was simply the greatest composer/musician of the 20th century. His Discography speaks for Itself...

Son Of Orange County is about Richard M. Nixon and his infamous qoute ”I am not a crook”.
He fricken tours with a tractor trailor for his drum kit, and just sets up n plays just him!!!!
Terry
Frank and Steve were good friends and neighbors. Could you imagine hanging out with those two jamming?
Napoleon with afro long gone...love it and him anyway!

Take note: Dweezil is playing the infamous SG that Frank played when he wanted to really let it rip
A couple of great early Dweezil numbers to check out are, I Want A Yacht with his brother Ahmet and Bobcat Goldthwait and Let's Talk About It with his sister Moon and cameos by several famous people.
The first solo is basically a replication of Frank’s solo in this song on the Roxy & Elsewhere album.
Im not sure if you’ve seen Echidnas Arf by this ZPZ band
Truly incredible and every band member is playing 100 miles an hour and in sync
Breathtaking
I went to this tour and all other ZPZ tours

That's Terry Bozzio that came in with Steve Vai.
Zappa Lives!
Woo! Theyre starting to write laws against it!!!!
First time I see someone react like I do ! You are my budd ! Love fromQuebec !
Finally got some time to watch this, and it made my day!

Steve wes in the Zappa band since he was a teenager influenced yes
Holy Shit!
this has been fun. Yes that's Bozzio on the monster drum set. Imagine being the poor tech who had to set that up and tear it down for every gig.
Imagine being the sound man that had to get every mic set correctly!
Awesome clip. I've never seen it. Thank you, Peter

Loving the shirt
Steve was once Dweezil's guitar teacher...
The other was Eddie van Halen, I heard.
Okay me and the love of my life love her
Total respect!!!!! And shes hot! She owns it!!!!!

Omg, no superlatives do that perfomance justice. Great reaction
VAI gave lessons to Dweezil when he was just starting to play guitar at the age of 13...
Terri Bozio's drum kit. That drum kit alone is as important as any one of the players on the stage.
Must be good!!!!
Bozzios kit!! Look at how Terry just snuck in - incognito. Seems you enjoyed this even more than Frank reactions😊.
So good you don't want to interrupt it much.
He is not a human being. Okay!!! Plain and simple!
Steve Vai played with Frank Zappa for quite a while probably went Dweezil was a baby are very young at least
Real musicians playing real music! . a rarity theese ndays, and sometimes if feels like Steve play even better the Frank. Sacrilege, I know....I probably just miss Frank!
Napoleon Murphy Brock a long time member of Zappas band the only one missing is George Duke
Around minute 21: Santana mode... 😉
That is Terry bozzio drumming
It's Dweezil.
The Zappa trust actually sued Dweezle for using the name Zappa plays Zappa so now he goes by Zappa plays whatever the fuck he wants to play
Were you suggesting you haven't seen Ruth Underwood play marimba with 4 mallets?
Yeah ruth underwood!!!! Derrrr!!!!!
Original terry here
Something sinister going on here,....
The 3rd guitar is Adrian Belew.
I believe it's Jamie Kime..not Adrian Belew
@@lepetitoiseau you're right.
@@chitownlee it would have been great.. and with Ruth on the marimbas too
@@lepetitoiseau Ruth was amazing.
