always hopeful for more collabs with John Theodore and Rachel Hardy. Their abilities and yours always mesh so gorgeously. Also a big fan of whenever we get to see Savannah! Her voice is so lovely.

This song offers free top surgery the way it slaps my tits off, excellent work! It shows an understanding of sailor language and themes common in sailing songs to be able to write your own. I'm definitely impressed!
SO GOOD. the perfect shanty for rockin’ ramblin’ sailors. you’re a master lyricist as much as a virtuoso musician 👌 (and the punniness of your album names is second to none) congrats and thank you, messr colm!
Colm is obviously one of the best artists on this platform and his talents are insane🤩can anyone tell me what his actual voice is? Baritone, Bass or Tenor?
I've said bass1 in the past, but maybe a more comfortable bass2 that can hit strong bass1 notes on good days. Most of my upper range is mixed voice and my belt range is pretty small, so I'm definitely not a true tenor.
I've been absent from the comments section lately, but your music has continued to be a staple in my life. (as indicated by you being top five in my Apple music this year, heh.) but despite listening to your stuff religiously for years now...somehow you manage to absolutely BLOW me away anew every time. like. dude. my GOSH. I have no words. This is a freakin' BANGER and there's no other way to describe it. Cheers to the Cap'n and the Colmpany!

LYRICS:
Hold fast, me merry lads
The night is nearin’ the end
No matter the storm, we’ll pull her to shore
We’re ramblin’ home again
She’s a wretched pile of timbers
And she creaks from evenin’ to morn
But she’s home to a crew of the best wee few
To ever sail under the horn
Poor Reilly’s up the mainmast
And wee Johnny’s hanging the sails
And the lad with the oars is passed out in the stores
As we’re rattlin’ threw the gales
[Chorus]
Hold fast, me merry lads
The night is nearin’ the end
No matter the storm, we’ll pull her to shore
We’re ramblin’ home again
Hold fast, until the last
As the waves are thunderin’ in
And we’ll show’em our mettle and drink like the devil
And bring’er on out again
Now we’re good and lost and lonesome
And a maelstrom’s at our tail
Half the crew is freezin’
And a lad’s gone over the rail
Poor Reilly’s head is ringin’
And the port’s all over the floor
And Johnny is hangin’ on tight to a canon
Now where is the bleedin’ shore?
[Chorus]
Hold fast, me merry lads
The night is nearin’ the end
No matter the storm, we’ll pull her to shore
We’re ramblin’ home again
Hold fast, until the last
As the waves are thunderin’ in
And we’ll show’em our mettle and drink like the devil
And bring’er on out again
Now the bow is bleedin’ banjaxed
And half the sails are torn
The stores are full of water
And two of the rafts are gone
Now someone get me the potín
And grab the bleedin’ oars
We’ll row this bleedin’ tub on home
We’re almost at the shore
[Chorus]
Well hold fast, me merry lads
The night is nearin’ the end
No matter the storm, we’ll pull her to shore
We’re ramblin’ home again
Hold fast, until the last
As the waves are thunderin’ in
And we’ll show’em our mettle and drink like the devil
And bring’er on out again
Then we’ll pull her to shore
And sink the wee hoor
And we won’t
We won’t be out again

To be fair, the subtitles don't need much breaking, the automatics suck.

Your original shanties are always so awesome, still listening to "over and under" almost every day
If Colm were ever to start a pirate/viking journey you can sure as hell count me in. STAY HANDSOME ME MERRY LADS!
It should not be possible for one man to possess so much talent!!!
Another shanty that'll get stuck in my head. Love your music, both your originals and covers. Your talent and skill has no boundries.
Very well done! I like it!
I love the Instruments you play, but also the harmony is interesting, which I really enjoy in Songs!
Colm, your shanties make me wish I was Irish 😊 looking forward to the album. Thank you. Stay handsome
SO GOOD. the perfect shanty for rockin’ ramblin’ sailors. you’re a master lyricist as much as a virtuoso musician 👌 (and the punniness of your album names is second to none) congrats and thank you, messr colm!
🩵🩵🩵 Brilliant!
Always love another original shanty!
I've been absent from the comments section lately, but your music has continued to be a staple in my life. (as indicated by you being top five in my Apple music this year, heh.)
but despite listening to your stuff religiously for years now...somehow you manage to absolutely BLOW me away anew every time.
like. dude. my GOSH. I have no words. This is a freakin' BANGER and there's no other way to describe it. Cheers to the Cap'n and the Colmpany!
Another grand song Colm! Very excited for your shanty album!
This is the best of your original shanties, really good.
Ayoo?? Man this is awesome!
Colm Good bless you, Beauty presentation
Do original songs more often, Colm! You're amazing.
