Project 06 - Shadow - Flame Core (S Rank) - 130K+

Welcome to the first of Shadow's stages that I chose to tackle! :D
HOLY SHIT! This one took a very long time to do, mainly because I kept losing my rings and dropping action chain combos! XD
It took me a few hours to nail all those long combos you saw. I had to be almost frame-perfect on some of them while minding the camera, and the stupid flame geysers certainly didn't help. I did mess up on a few action chains on the second half of the stage (at 4:04 and 4:22), but the points I would have gotten otherwise were pretty minimal (i.e. about 1300 points total), so those screw-ups weren't a big deal.
All in all, I'm satisfied with this run. It could have been a bit better, but it was still nearly perfect, and that's good enough for me.
Anyway, I LOVE how Shadow plays in this game. The range of his jump dash and homing attack was shortened a bit (making it equal to Sonic's), but the recoil from landing a homing attack is MUCH shorter now, allowing you to pull off combos much faster. On top of that, the chaos attacks are still present from the original game. With all of this mind, it's now SO much easier for Shadow not to get hit in the air, and he still retains his ability to deal high damage! Plus, he has a spin dash now, and it's mapped to its own button! The light dash and spin kick/tornado kick are mapped to their own buttons, too. :D
Now, let's talk about Shadow's chaos powers, which...actually work properly in this game...and then some! :D
Upon being fully charged, Chaos Spear now does actual damage and can even send out multiple projectiles to hit additional weak points on a single enemy! Plus, Chaos Spear even gives you an extra jump dash/homing attack after using it in the air, allowing you to continue combos on distant foes much more easily (which you'll definitely want to do to get really high scores)! You get only one extra jump dash, though. So, you can pull off either of the following sequences:
Jump -- Jump Dash -- Chaos Spear -- Jump Dash -- Chaos Spear
Jump -- Chaos Spear -- Jump Dash -- Chaos Spear -- Jump Dash
Chaos Lance, the upgraded version of Chaos Spear in Chaos Mode, has a bigger explosion when fully charged.
Chaos Snap ACTUALLY locks on to five enemies/targets max, unlike in the original game, where it only locks on to 2-3 max, which helps out with combos. It's also less clunky to use, and the improved camera really helps when snapping from target to target in small/medium spaces. Plus, if there's nothing to warp to when you try to use it, you don't lose forward momentum during the jump dash as you do in the original game.
Chaos Blast has a much bigger explosion in this game. It's almost as big as the one in Shadow The Hedgehog.
There's also a secret ability that Shadow can acquire that grants him access to his "Uninhibited Mode" (or whatever it's called), where he takes off his inhibitor rings. You have to S-Rank every stage and find a secret route in Dusty Desert. Once you do, you'll find an item called a "Memory Shard," and you'll get access to Uninhibited Mode. To use it, press the right trigger and up on the D-pad when you're in Level 3 of Chaos Boost.
During this mode, Shadow one-hit kills anything with any attack. He also becomes invulnerable to damage and even deals damage by simply touching enemies! However, his gauge depletes a lot faster, and if you run out, you'll be stunned for about six seconds before turning back to normal, so make sure you are NOT in a vulnerable or dangerous position when this happens!
In any case, I LOVE SHADOW IN THIS GAME! That is all. :D

I hope he does the Very Hard Modes and Team Attack Amigo. Those have the best versions of Shadow’s levels and best Blaze, Tails, and Omega levels.

@@chimanruler15 yrs ago I had a rewrite of Elise’s character of how she could be better with a bit of a twist. I could tell you that story but it will be much for you read. In the morning I will make a video to send to you so you can hear it. Listening to it would be better than reading it.
