Didn't the singer just quit? Besides that I'm hoping to see them in February for the first time with Aborted and Peeling Flesh. I hope they play stuff from the titanomachy ep. That ep fucks hard 🙌
Used to listen to Ingested back on Unique Leader Records and loved the music created then. I also share the same sentiment about the sound not being brutal and gnarly like before. From 2020 and earlier was prime, so it is not the same anymore. If you're interested in this band, I'd advise checking out their older releases to fans.
They used to be my absolute favourite band when they used to sound menacing brutal. The Level Above Human was already a bit off their level of brutality, but everything that came out after it was weak asf compared to any random song off their first few releases. So yeah, it's been painful to witness such a downgrade of a band since 2018. The music isn't that bad, it's just thousand times more worse then they used to be.
@@ANukeWithLegs you can't imagine how hopeless I felt when I was seeing them losing all their brutality, nothing remained. The band was outstanding and now it's one of the most boring death metal / deathcore bands I have ever heard. No hate, it's just sad
Nothing must be as brutal and sad for a band like Ingested as having to read a limited and typical heavy music fan's comment: the musically limited savagery. I discovered them on the album The Architect of Extinction and even went back to listen to their earlier works. That’s exactly why I can say this glorious band has broken out of the box of doing the same limited thing that death metal often stubbornly sticks to! If it were up to me, Ingested would be playing A Path Once Lost on TV commercials worldwide. I am proud of the musicality they have achieved now, but it must be genuinely disheartening for the band to read a comment like yours. I hope their incredible musicianship, combined with extreme music, gains them 1,000 new fans even if they lose 100 like you. It’s a shame that, for you, music is reduced to hatred and savagery. It makes you incapable of appreciating an incredible work like their latest album. Truly lamentable. Long live Ingested and may they keep evolving musically!
The tone he gets has always been SO sick. So brutal.
Seen em 2-3 times..highly recommend checking them out live if given the chance ..

Didn't I see their vocalist left the band ? 😢
Still love this band regardless.
I love me some tech death metal. This is my intro to Ingested and I'm gonna go binge some catalog now thank you
This is far from tech. It's great tho! I have the album but it's 100% run of the mill deathcore
Obscura, beyond creation, dysmorphic, psycroptic are good examples of tech death if youre interested
@@roach5606 Archspire, Necrophagist, Beyond Creation
@@roach5606 I'll stick with Gorod and Soreption ;)
@@gortonimo101 it's music. Idk why'd you'd only stick to 2 bands. Lol
Why did the band fire jason Evans? He's got a killer voice
I miss the old Ingested on the first albums because it was insanely brutal and with the guitar and drums cracking the rotten sound that is wonderful
Grass is greener. They're wayy bigger now off their deathcore sound. Last 2 albums rip
🔥👍💪🤘

Amazing solo, bro!!!! You said in interview that you don’t recognize yourself as a lead guitarist… you’re too humble, Sean 😅

Comparison is the thief of joy.

I got the same experience with Powerwolf
