LOT'S WIFE SYNDROME

Many of us are familiar with the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. But one part of the story that has puzzled believers for years is why Lot's wife was turned to a pillar of salt when she disobeyed the angels' instructions not to look back on the aforementioned burning cities. But why did Lot's wife look back? And what are we to learn from this as believers?
