- I finally got around to getting the Vance & Hines FP3. In this video I'll show you how easy it is to install, flash and run an Autotune session. I'll also give you my initial thoughts on the FP3.

Thank you for all the information on the street rod, not even harley davidson knows anything about them in 2024
Your ram mount is giving me flashbacks... I had my phone clamped in mine one day and felt something hit my chest on the highway. My phone fell out of the holder. When I went back to get it, it was shaped like the letter C.
That said, thanks for the video, I'm going to be doing this to my 2019 Street Rod.
I ended up having to ditch the ram mount because it vibrates the phone like crazy which causes the camera to bug out
Fitted Vance and Hines slip ons to a 2014 Road RoadKing, K and N Filter and FP3. Super easy to install and I simply used the tune V and H supplied, bike definitely ran better, with a nice smooth throttle response and fuel economy also improved. I found the app to be very intuitive and simple to use. Once it is paired to your bike's VIN it cannot be used on another bike. It was definitely worth the money IMO.
I agree. Bike runs better.
Installed it in may. Greened 98% of the boxes and I can say the bike is definitely mich smoother! You might want to lower the idle rpm to 1050 or 1100!
I used to flash back the stock map for HD services and it felt like it has lost quite some power!
Hi Julien. Long time. Definitely a power difference between stock and FP3 tunes. But I can't tell much difference from the S&S Grand National tune and the Autotune of the S&S one. Bike definitely runs better.
@@StreetRodAZ Autotune is good for different environments. For example: 1 file for low altitude summers, one file for high altitude and lower temperatures ( high mountain rises above 2000m) and one file for colder conditions spring and autumn time! And of course no file for winter as it is sleeping!
Cheers from Switzerland
Great Job Man! whats your opinion about adding a FP3 to the XG750? I have a XG750 and I´m thinking in installing a FP3 on it as I´ve installed a KN filter. Thanks!
They’re all very lean when they’re stock. They need about 8 to 10% more fuel depending on where you live the FP3 can only help. Get a high flow air filter as well. You’ll notice a huge difference in performance.
@@StreetRodAZ Thanks for your answer!! Should I buy the 66005 FP3 for my xg750? Regards!
@Santiago González. You might as well buy the FP4. It’s newer and does a bit more. Here’s a link to the one for the XG750 on Revzilla.com. bit.ly/3GyuuVt
@@StreetRodAZ Thanks for all your answers!!.. I´ve found a fp3 at a good price.. that´s why I was thinking in this. Regards!
I just bought 1 a while ago and noticed a very huge improvement especially the disappearance of the deceleration pops plus the idle rpm went down to 1200rpm from 1340rpm.. i dont know yet how to use the other functions also the autotune feature and im a bit scared to reflash it because it might cause a change that would be bad for the bike.. but I really am very satisfied with this tuner..
you should try auto tune. you can always roll back to a previously saved map or even the stock. the thing about the FP3 is, you can't really mess up because your can always restore.
Would love the yearly or mileage report on the bike, see what you’ve have done to the bike like services wise not mods 😅 been looking at this bike for my first motorcycle 👌 your channel has been a great help in making my decision. Have you heard they are pulling the plug on the HD street and street rob ??
Thanks Ross. No major service. Oil changes and inspections is all. I do it myself. The discontinuation is just in India and Europe because they closed the factory in India. Haven’t heard the US made XG750A is being discontinued. Nothing in the news anyway.
I would like to know what the mountain/hill road you were on in other vid and I plan on getting a street rod for my wife she doesn't fit comfortably on my 2013 FXDB and did you find any bags for the street rod
Not sure what "other video" you're talking about. Leave a comment on it. I don't use saddle bags so I wouldn't be much help there. All the mountains I ride in are in Arizona.
@StreetRodAZ Have you found any hard saddle bags that would fit the street rod
@SILK334 Havent looked. But a quick Google search pointed me to these: www.ebay.com/itm/Hard-saddlebags-for-Harley-Davidson-Street-Rod-750-MGH/333726681856
Hej
SUPER
I have a big request
Can you show how to change the brake fluid (front and rear) in the XG750A street rod motorcycle - or discuss this issue.
Best regards
Dan
p.s.
Maybe someone found a video on how to change the brake fluid (front and rear) in the system with ABS (HD Street Rod XG750A)
Maybe when I have to change it. But that's not going to be for a while.
I want to lower the idle rpm on street 750 .does it have any negative effects on the bike especially mileage ?
You might get a little savings in fuel but imo, not worth it. the idle was set by the manufacturer for a reason. the advantages of raising/lowering idle rpm is so negligible i would even bother.
Hi Friend do you have the model or number part for the street 759 please 🙏🏿
They FP3 is discontinued. You'll need to get the FP4 which is the same thing only newer. Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP4 ECU Tuner For Harley 2011-2020 Part Number 66045
Just got the v&h slip ons. Everything else is stock. Is the FP3 worth it?
Yeah, it's worth it. Bike runs much better.
@@StreetRodAZ gotcha. Ordered one already. By chance do you know how to remove the signal lens cap? I ordered myself smoked turn signal lens but can’t figure out how to remove the stock ones.
@@Makinartz i dont. i replaced my signals completely with aftermarket LED.
I’m looking to get a Beginner Harley. I’m 6’1, 194 Pounds. Would I be too big for this Bike?
Thanks
nope. i’m about the same
@@StreetRodAZ ah, ok. It seems like every Harley salesman, does not want to sell me the bike
Old school harley guys hate the street rod. But who cares. Get what you like. :-)

'Let's fire the bike up and see if it runs' .... video cuts to an advert 😁😁😁
No shit? Thanks YT.
