Decent album in it's own right. But I wouldn't put one song from this album onto Monolith or Edge of the Earth. Those albums slap. This tbh is VERY generic metal from a band capable of much more
The clean vocals reminded me of Adam Gontier circa 2009-2012 with Three Days Grace, especially the line 'when it feels like the walls are closing in'. A sign of things to come is definitely an album of the year contender for me - loved it.
Song was phenomenal. On the subject of maggots, they are used in medicine to help certain situations where flesh has been compromised. They only eat rotten/dead flesh and thus are perfect. My person horror is wet wood. I get irrationally angry at wet wooden spoons/cutlery.
I’d say they’ve been a lot better than just consistently solid, edge of the earth is a perfect album and monolith almost Flawless too. They’ve pretty consistently been great, no hate on architects but I don’t think they’ve ever been close to Sylosis and Josh being a member just felt like a waste of his talent/time when he could’ve been making more Sylosis stuff

I can't stand wet, loose hair on my skin, or when there's hair in the drain and you've gotta clear it out... Ughhh. Disgusting. Makes me gag a little bit. Couldn't tell you why! But it's real fun because both my partner and I have longish hair ahahaha
This is probably my favorite song on the album! So happy Josh isn’t in Architects. Hopefully now he can focus on this band and come out with more bangers. And maybe one day Architects will make something good again. 😂

Edge of the earth and monolith are like way way way better than any architects records
