Agfa, I couldn't believe how much nicer images looked using it. Boris Optics would seem a little late to the game. The effects were popular back 10 yrs ago when we'd crumple a paper back, scan it in and change the Blend Mode. Thanks for the video Tony!

Yes, Optics comes as a plugin AND a standalone application. The one license purchase will work for both.

Caution folks, I tried three separate credit cards and all refused for some reason. Not sure what is going on, but I use these all the time. So there is at best a problem with the Boris website. Anyway, I am giving this a mess.

Yikes, the price is $1295.00, even with a 25% discount that is too high for me.
I'm not sure what you're looking at. If you click on Anthony's link, or just visit the borisfx website on your own, the price I see quoted is $149 for standalone or $99 for a one-year subscription license ($9 for one month), Anthony's 25% discount not included. That seems a reasonable price to me for what you get. But I agree $1295 would be too much. I rarely use the software special effects I have already, so I'll probably pass myself, but it was interesting, especially how adjustable they are. The website does say it can be used as a Lightroom plug-in as well.

OP is looking at the complete suite: $1295 annual, $175 pcm, not the one featured here.
