You can also power the camera through the USB. You do not need a separate power adapter like in earlier versions. The RUclips Live streaming is on the G7 Mark III only.
Hey. Any chance the G5xii flash bends back a full 90 degrees (like the Rx100s do) to bounce the flash off of the ceiling? Can’t find info anywhere. Thanks.
I don't do much video, mostly stills. I have the original G5X. Will the Digic 8 processor be a significant upgrade from the Digic 7 as far as OIS and low light is concerned? I do like the fact that the focal length has been increased to 120mm without compromising the fast 1.8 - 2.8 lens and that it's more pocketable now.
Any info if there is a record limit in time that you have in G7Xm3. Not mean overheating but if the camera are limited to 15min, 30min or something else?
@@JoeCnNd so are the Sony RX's Series and they do have a clean HDMI out. Even Sony's action cams and Gopro has them. The reason I'm asking is because the G7X II didn't.
Just got into Vlogging style cameras, & I can't wait to buy the Canon G7 X Mark111! Do a comparison vlog about Sony, Canon & Panasonic vlogging 1 inch cameras!
So if you don't mind the viewfinder and 20mm more zoom g5x have same photo capabilities than g7x, but lack of video feature like mic jack. I'm more into photo than video but for me, on the paper at least, g7x seems to do better at both task, for cheaper. I will wait proper test but I think I made my choice already :)
I'd like to buy one for travelling and vlogging, u suggest G5XII but G7XII already has the mic input now. So I'm confused which one I should buy hahahaha. Help me
Big fan of your channel, so I’m a Barber and I’m looking to buy a camera to take photos of my work and on occasion do some street photography. Do you have any recommendations on the Fuji line I should get like camera and lens? Or point and shoot from Fuji? Money isn’t the issue I just want to buy something that will fit my needs.
Does anyone use cameras to take photos anymore, or is the world so full of needy attention seeking narcissists trying to grab their 15 minutes of fame that vlogging (or selfies) is the primary function of a camera?
The G5 X Mark II is more photo oriented while G7 X III is more video oriented though of course both can do both well. The problem is that when you listen people who make themselves videos, the importance of videos is emphasized.
Couldn't agree more. Capabilities of the recently launched cameras are always shadowed by whether they can vlog or not. May be I am ranting but is it not hard to find videos about stills being the primary subject ?
@BenBenson, you make some good points, but I take exception to a couple. I'm not offended or angered (just making an observation), or resisting change--there's definitely a place for video (for many of the reasons you state), but there's also still a place for stills--I just want a camera that can do that...and I just wish there were as many videos on RUclips helping me find one as there are videos on vlogging cameras. Seems to me, for the average user who doesn't want to spend a ton compact cameras, cameras now are a lot like smart phones: they do many things....they just don't do many things well. Is it too much to ask for a camera that does one thing well? By the way, they do still make camcorders (which could be used for vlogging/making videos...and some are very portable), but find a camera (like the one I described) dedicated to taking pictures--not so easy. Complaining is a very personal thing, so yes, I do have something to complain about....and I'm sure you're not immune from complaining yourself. If you are, congratulations, you may have achieved Nirvana.
Who's going to be grabbing one of these cameras?
Andrew also apologies for the out of focus video, he definitely needs Josh to help him film 😂
Georges CamerasTV I do. which one do you prefer?

Did anyone noticed that the A camera focus was on the window of the building across the street?
What is the zooming capacity? Please share some zoom footage. Nice comparison. Thanks....
im a lil full on cameras, but good to know whats coming out : )
Hi sir. Is one for photos and one for videos sir?..
Thanks for this nice review. I would like to see the video quality at day time using the IS and under lowlight capability
You didn't mention that Canon removed 24P from all video resolutions.
is there any dial to change aperture or shutter?

If you feel like the extra focal length will be of big benefit to you than go for it. Otherwise it is probably still worth keeping your G5X

Since you have mentioned the battery, why you never mention the most important information which is battery life!!
DIdn't mention it because we weren't able to do a full review on it because they're prototypes. We'll let you know with a full review in the future!

I think it's around 10 minutes
Yes, 4K is limited to 10 min
4k 10 mins
1080p 30 mins
Hi,
Does the G7X III has a Clean HDMI out ???
I don't think this camera really needs it. It's more of a vlog minimalist camera.

Metal or plastic body construction?

Is it worth buying g5x ii for street and family photography in comparison to sony rx series?any battery issues? Is this made in?
Speaking of focusing, during the entire video the focus wasn't on you but on the background. Lol
🙋🏻♀️preordered! cant wait!
does anyone think they both overpriced?

Why buy a G7x iii for $1200 when you can get a Sony a6400 for similar price?

Contrast autofocus again? Nooooooooo! I have the G7X Mark II and the autofocus sucks!
But these two still can't beat Sony a6000.
Nice review, but you were OOF !
It's pointless to make two cameras. Just combine into one.
Nothing that so great ?
Both featuring CDAF...What a joke in 2019!
