- Our first online seminar - focussing on Trump 2.0 - What does his return to power mean for Europe, America and the world? - took place on Thursday 30th January 2025, ten days after the second inauguration of Donald Trump as US President.
The discussion featured the following leading think tankers and commentators from Europe and the United States as panellists:
• Jacob Funk Kirkegaard, Senior Fellow, Bruegel and Peterson Institute;
• Ian Lesser, Adviser to the President, German Marshall Fund;
• Suzanne Schneider, Visiting Fellow, Kellogg College, Oxford, and Deputy Director, Brooklyn Institute;
• Leslie Vinjamuri, Head of US and Americas Programme, Chatham House.
The event was introduced by Andrew Graham, Chair of the Europaeum, and co-chaired by Anthony Teasdale, Executive Director of the Europaeum, and Dorian Singh, Alumni Administrator of the Europaeum.
