They def sound like they're Vulcan made pins (which would 100% agree with the ABC Max suspicion), have that DEEP sound to them. But MAYBE 1 or 2 from the AMF factory in NY, have a MUCH higher pitched sound. Look at the underside of the pins, any from the AMF plant will have the LEAST amount of wood showing, I dunno the measurement but you can tell by eye (maybe 1/4"?), tap em and you'll hear the higher pitch. Pins tend to have a deep sound if not AMF made, dunno if it's the wood they use, or the voids or what. Been like that for YEARS tho. Awesome vid as always my friend! :)
Thanks! I didn't know the bases were slightly different in size, but I could always tell by the pitch of the pin. Definitely have that Vulcan vultex, Brunswick max, or even dura-king pitch to them haha
Man those pins have a old school feel sound to them but i think these pins were painted because at 7:10 the head pin has a red mark on it@@PinDominator
Looks like that shaker board might need work cause I saw quite a few of those pins just getting stuck in the pit and had to rely on other pins or the ball to go in the pinwheel which could have been part of the reason for all the 180 stops
