Thanks so much, really helpful to have someone explain what each of these skis is about. It's so hard to decipher the marketing guff in the brands' descriptions.

I had picked up the Rossi's 78 C this past weekend after a season and a half of rentals. I know I'll advance quickly, but for 500$ w/ quality skis and bindings, I am not complaining. Stoked to get out there! (and the 2022 model looks sick in the blue/green)

@@TheAdventureJunkies I was a national level racer back in the early '70's. Stopped skiing in '85. Got back into it 12 years ago, and the rental skis at our little place were the Rossi Exp 78s. Fantastically easy turning ski that held up will on both tail-pushing turns as well as carving. Was so-so on ice ( dull rental shop edges certainly didn't help! ), but performed decently at more intermediate-level speeds. No, I wouldn't call them an "all-mountain" ski because they were not designed for hitting the bumps or skiing powder in between the trees. Fantastic ski for beginners up through mid-level intermediate, as well as for older legs that have been away from the slopes for a couple decades - will allow getting back into the swing of turning without having a ski that will bite them if they get into the back seat like higher performance skis will react to that mistake.

This was my first pair of skis and I've loved them but it's time to explore more of the mountain and I need something that will better handle powder.

The Rustler and the Disruption 78c are a bit much for beginners I would say.

Do you think the Line Sick Day 94s are better for an intermediate skier than the Rustler 9s?

I really appreciate your video and info but to be taken seriously in the sport you really need to learn how to pronounce camber. Otherwise, I agree with your picks and the video is great…I also love the crocheted blanket on your chair! My grandma (Nana) made me one as a wedding gift when I was about 10 years old & at 52 now I still have, and love it!
