Yharon fight is driving me nuts, i just genuinely don't understand how you can dash so fast with asgardian aegis in the second phase. I am smashing the buttons as fast as i can to just see if it's possible to dash this fast, but i have seem to have some kind of cooldown. Maybe i should just drop my playthrough, cause my attempts seems to go nowhere...

after finally beating this boss after an uncountable amount of attempts i can confidently say its the best boss fight i've ever fought in a game although my computer would be forced to 40fps with the visual overhaul so had to turn on reduced graphics

How do you dash left and right so quickly? My Asgardian Aegis doesn't seem to be able to dash quick enough to dodge Yharon's left and right dashes during phase 2
Question: how did you make the endless jungle biome? I noticed that during the battle, no matter how far from the surface you fly, the background of the jungle biome is always active. I installed this world and as soon as I fly away from the surface for about 30 blocks, the usual forest biome is immediately activated. Also platforms that you used in arena is from different mod. Are platforms are just decoration or they have purpose? I'll really appreciate if I'll got an answer
Fargo's mutant mod has a feature for the biome fountains. So if the fountain is active, the coresponding biome will be selected, in this case, jungle fountains
Wait, does "Catastrophes before the calamity" actually play after you defeat the dragon, or it's something you added. Because if its like this in the mod itself, I would be really surprised, but more than that I would jsut praise developers for implementing this.
The only thing I do not like about this boss is that his only difficult is avoid the same dash over and over again. The flames are not so many and complex to avoid. The fight feels difficult only due the speed of his dash and that attack and speed only shows a lack of creativity compared to other bosses of other mods.

rework is way to awesome but it would be really cool if yharon gets u down to1 hp after entering phase two after big explosion without killing you regardless of difficulty or remaining hp
finnaly, i no longer have to use slime miunt cus they nerfed his hyperspees dashds from 0.4 seconds to the same amount as ur sheild cooldown (also no more stupid death animation that lasts eternity and shoots projectiles and dashes)
I wouldn't say this is much of an improvement on the original fight. Yharon spends most of his time off-screen, and he does everything so fast that the only way to dodge some of his attacks is to memorize his attack pattern. ...And the fact that you can avoid most of his attacks by constantly moving up or down doesn't fix it.
Gotta say this is probably the work rework in the mod outside of maybe polterghast. It's a shame because the rest of the bosses are some of the most fun but this one just seems designed to piss you off. The dashes feel absurdly untelegraphed. They removed the scream he does when dashing so now when hes off screen (literally 80% of the entire fight mind you) you just have to guess when and from what direction he'll be dashing. Not to mention his hitboxes feel absurdly disjointed, so even if you do manage to pull off a good ram, you'll still end up taking a hit. Plus he'll just dash again anyways and unless you're lucky enough to have him on screen that time, you'll have to play the guessing game again. It's so unsatisfying and a really bad stain on what would normally be the perfect mod.
Well there're more than one way of telegraphing attacks. This one is just not the visible one but memorization. Every dash distance and timing has a fixed set pattern for you to remember.
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial i feel like the removal of the roar telegraph for the dash makes getting the hang of the timing rhythm much more difficult for this, since unlike a fight like devourer, you wont be able to see him much when he starts the dash, so you have to trial and error his distance and timing until you can consistently reach phase 2, where this becomes much less of an issue, thankfully

Dash cancel. When you dash, immediately tap the opposite movement direction. That way your dash would end early and you can dash again faster

died to phase two 3 times past 80% because of this, had to use cheat sheet to progress :(
It's called "Dash cancel". When you dash, immediately hold the opposite direction key to stop the dadh early so you can dash again faster
