My son's first elk hunt at 16 was at Panguitch Lake, UT. 450 yards, downhill with wind, and he landed a high shot. Bolted after it and lost the trail. He hiked 8 miles trying to find it, and came home with memories of a gorgeous mountain sunset and lots of life lessons. Still proud of him.
Hatch green chile is a gift from the universe. If you can’t get real roasted green chiles then the roasted green chile powder is still good. Visiting Hatch New Mexico is a bucket list small town. Hit Sparky’s for a green chile burger that is out of this world.

I'm not a Hunter, but I truly respect the Honor you give to animals. I love watching and learning from your videos. Congratulations ! Big love from Nevada !!
I completely understand where u two brothers r coming from. I have two brothers. The three of us have hunted together for 50 plus years. I’m now the youngest at 56. My order brothers r both retired now. I work all year long planning for our deer season here in Missouri so the three of us can spend that 12 days together in the woods. Unfortunately age has changed the way we hunt now but we still hunt. It’s great to see family together. U guys r the BEST CONGRATULATIONS
What a great all around video. The hunting, friendship family...Love to have the opportunity to watch it. Thanks for sharing. Saludos from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 🇺🇸
You may have ample means of obtaining meat/protein, but like Seth passionately explains it’s the hunting with your family and friends is what makes memories of a lifetime. Well done and congratulations to you all.
It took 30 seconds to say yes?!!!😜 Great job and congratulations guys! Best parts were when guys were being guys WITHOUT profanity. Yes…it’s possible and so much better that way. Great experience for the boys too. Scott that shot quartering away that hard man…AWESOME!!!
Scott and Seth that was probably an very expensive hunt but because of your limited time thanks for sharing in the end its family time and getting some healthy food for the freezer ✌️👍🇺🇲
I would Love to be Rich and have big properties like this and raise ( ELK ) for hunting to thin the herd of big males. 😊 My joy would be to see the young male to grow, then be able to harvest them for butcher like your wonderful company. What you show in how it's cut up is a dream of mine, on how a cow is cut up. But boy to own property for wild harvest by a hunter is my dream if I had the money to buy large acreage. 😊
My best friend and me. Used sign language to talk to each other when we stalked deer and elk. You would be amazed how sound travels. You can hear people laughing in a distance.
I am 34 years old With three kids and I just picked up hunting. I’m from New Jersey so the hunting community here is very small and on top of that all the hunters in New Jersey seem to be like loaners. Nobody really wants to talk to anybody else… they want to do their own thing…. I think that’s mostly because people think that you’re gonna come take their spot or something but really I was just looking for a few hunting buddies that I could talk to get some knowledge from and maybe share a harvest if I got one… I made one friend out of all the people I reached out to and my third ever sit I put down 150 pound doe. it is the craziest experience/adrenaline rush I’ve ever ever had in my life.
Okay, I watched 3/4 of this video and wtf. These people really put out a video of someone shooting and animal with no backdrop on a ridge. The other shot was to the backside of an animal. Who the hell are these supposed guides?
Hey I live here in New Mexico! Feel free to stop by the smiths here in Farmington and get some dope meat! Also while you’re down here you HAVE to get some green chili. It’s what we are known for, I’m sure you’ll love it
@Seth or Josh what’s your rifle/cal for these beauties? Weatherby 30-378 by chance? It’s my large game of gun choice. Very nice hunt you guys. Nice to see you out with the MKC clan and the boys. 🙏👍👍
If you guys captured more footage of the field dressing and butchering process you did here I would love to see it. There isn’t really that much good instructional video of wild game processing from professionals like yourselves out there. Any chance you release a follow up video with that footage?
For anyone that’s wondering, Tyler must be confused…because the last time we checked, New Mexico is in the western part of the United States which does in fact make this a western hunt.
Fabulous video!! Seth's on the fly drop and shoot - definitely not his first time, and Scott's was a fast shot just before the shot was gone... Awesome family gathering!
The thing is about hunting your own meat and not buying it in a store is the meat you hunted yourself doesn't have all that growth hormones and steroids pumped in to it like store bought meat does
BB Team, this video is by far the most cinematic video you've ever produced. AMAZING work and congrats to the entire team.
Welcome to New Mexico. I absolutely love it here. The Bearded Butchers is one of my favorite clips to watch regarding the breakdown process/cuts

I’m thankful you let us be apart of it. Being in this wheelchair and somewhat limited it’s really the only way I get to see it in this context. 🙏

Nice elk the second one is about 2 yrs older than the first one cause as they age they lose growth in antlers🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Chasing elk on a private ranch is much different then diy public land.

Nice Bulls, where exactly in New Mexico was this hunt? 🦌
That bull ain’t nothing to what we see around here at the Jicarilla Apache nation in New Mexico. Prob the smallest you’d see lol, good hunt
