I have had the pleasure of watching this video several times and so appreciate every tip. Thank you for spinning around the block again and breaking this down so beautifully. Especially how you grasped the concepts of what I shared in my demonstration and live Q and A’s. Your results are outstanding, thank you so much for sharing ❤🥰
Your hair is really pretty! 🥰💙.. I’ve been doing a little more wash n gos (I’m a twist out girlie) and really like your techniques you use - great video 💙
The video I didn’t realize I needed. It was the water and product ratio 4 me too. I’ll need to spin the block now too with embrace the base. Thank you Kayla 🙏🏾
@@WhatTheKink Update: I’ve been able to adapt my routine and refrained from adding extra water after adding the embrace the base medium gel. I really like the combo now and my set lasted a week!
Your hair looks beautiful. Very helpful tips as the method can be applied to other gels. For instance I'll have to try marinating as i usually apply and style at the same time
Very helpful tips, especially water content and marinating. I am certain I used too much water, even though I used less than I do for Curly Magic. Thanks for posting this!
Ayyyyeeee the spin the block is that girl as I also like the first video as well (I style for volume). Do you think if you had cured the first time it would’ve yielded more of the results you like? The takeaways definitely seemed to put you in that sweat spot. That heavy hold base will seal the deal for you probably.
Honestly i feel like having to use more product means the formula is cheap and not concentrated. You will run through product more meaning spending more to repurchase. I prefer using less product more water. It saves from causing buildup and my product lasts longer.
I’m not sure if that’s the case here. The first go around I used veeeeery little on so much hair. It was less than the typical person would intuitively use. I tend to be a lil conservative and just typically get away with it. lol
I did the exact same thing …after I washed my hair I used a tee shirt to soak up some water and then applied the products. Not using any more water other than dipping my hands in water if needed. you can’t have too much water because the base is a little watery. I have medium density and fine strands. To much water ends up being frizzy. ….then I applied the topper also I let in marinate for about ten minutes. and this time it came out great. I believe it’s the water ratio with the product. I use and love her products but it can be a little tricky.. Love your videos they are informative …. Much success and God Bless ❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾

Yes, I like that, get the concept. I haven’t tried her base gel yet.. I add my products by feel also.
Your hair looks great! Interesting tho that you need less water with these products... I am so accustomed to using a lot of water with botanical gels.
I LUVS me some ENBBA gels

I think even if I had cured it, it still would have had all the volume because I didn’t use as much product. Product really controls the final look.
@ oh okay makes sense. Your adjustments delivered. And love the idea pf focusing on the concepts
This is right on time- I was just considering repurchasing embrace the base!
How does this combo hold throughout the week?
Lasted a week. It just increased in volume but was still defined.
@ ahhh! Now I’m excited! I actually just placed my order with your code! Thanks!

Who are you talking about?
Are you asking about Abena? I say she is the owner of the brand earlier in the video.
