I love the multi purpose leave in & the deep conditioner. I really love that whitney went to hair school during her journey to make sure she had the knowledge to make hair care products. I just love melanin haircare! & you hair looks amazing! Before the wash all the way to the end. It's obvious you take great care of your hair❤
I need to revisit these products. The travel sizes are right up my alley. I've been watching Whitney for over 12 years. He DIY kitchen mixes saved my hair back in the day because I sure didn't know what I was doing.

Whitney has been my go to for years and she inspired me to create my own products. I like her products. Nice to see you review it. My favorite is the oil and the leave in.
Dry warm compresses 3-4 x a day and get ocusoft lid wipes to keep the bacteria from entering in. Also preservatives artificial tears as needed and I hope the doctor gave you the correct drops, oral meds for the inflammation and infection and ointment. This is coming from a eye care technician. ❤

I love this product line and use Melanin Care products religiously. It’s my favorite of all them along with Pattern, Mielle and Camille Rose. I like the doux products but they are drying to my hair so I add olive oil and castor to the cream product
I am the same with the Doux conditioning mask I have to add oil to make it work.
I thought it was just me regarding how dryinf the Doux products are. I have tried the gel and the mouth. The mouse make your hair look great on day and two. But after that it drys out like crazy

The deep conditioner imo need heat added to it- it makes such a huge difference!! I know it doesn’t mention using it with heat on the label but that made the change. My hair was silky after rinsing. You should definitely re try with the heat.
So true. I've used it with a hair steamer, and it soaks right in. My hair feels like butter afterwards!
👋🏽 I don’t have a steamer but used two shower caps under my dryer for 30 minutes with only the conditioner!! My hair loved it!! Im definitely purchasing this again!!!!!

Love the line. The deep conditioner feels more strengthening than hydrating for me. I mix it with the TGIN Honey mask and it’s perfect but I also don’t leave it in for 30 mins. Great review. Looking forward to your line.
Brittany - get yourself some dishwashing gloves. They are thicker than disposable gloves. It will protect your cuts! Your a trooper for filming this with a cut hand.

I have the full size of Melanin Hair shampoo that I bought months ago and it’s still going strong! I love Whitney and loved when she made her homemade Shea butter mix (that was the truth)! Donna’s Recipe is amazing! The shampoo, conditioner, leave-in and hair cream are chef’s kiss for my hair (I feel like I have 3c/4a hair that tangles something serious at the roots, even though I don’t manipulate it) and it moisturizes my hair soo much and makes it so soft and the slip is awesome. I can go 1-2 weeks with my wash-n-go and for my hair, it melts the tangles.

Like 10/10, would recommend. I layer with Wetline when it's humid. My hair is healthy and growing like grass. Whitney did it!

Beautiful ❤️ I felt the same way about the deep conditioner when I first used it. My hair is also thick and waist length.So, I tried it again and used l ess product, worked it in, and used a heating cap. When I rinsed it out, WOW!!! IT WAS AMAZING. it felt so soft and moisturized. It is now my go to. Please, try it again and let us know what you think.

So im new to your channel, and I’ve been binge watching your videos and I LOVE your reviews despite our hair textures being SO different. I have TOTALLY different hair from you. I have high porosity, 3b/c curls, finer hair. I feel like you’re a great gauge for how products will work for me. I also appreciate your perspective on how different his or types might react to different products. I was excited to see your review on the deep conditioner mainly because I LIVE and SWEAR by the conditioner, oil, and the elongated cream.especially the conditioner i am the person who uses the multi use conditioner in every way that it states on the bottle and i swear i get the best results. Thanks for the content even with your own personal battles 😫
Love love love your channel for sure. You provide honest reviews and this is what I need in order to find the right products for my hair journey. I struggle with hydration and breakage on my short 4c hair.
Deep condition weekly with a plastic cap and hot towel for 20-30 minutes. Apply leave-in detangler and leave in cream conditioner daily with a plastic cap and hot towel for 20 minutes. keep wrapped in a silk scarf. Avoid gel, mousse or styling/twisting creams and butters. If you must use them use them once a week on wash day and reactivate with a leave-in conditioning mist. If you still have breakage after this you need protein treatments. That's a whole other category to avoid protein overload but also to get the necessary level of protein for your hair type. I have short 4c hair but it needs a high level of protein that most people do not need because I have neurodivergent stress and genetic nutrient deficiencies. Britanny has a good routine and list of products.
My hair used to be very dry until I used the Camille Rose Morrocan Pear conditioner as a deep conditioner. After 6 months my hair is so soft 😍
Everybody can't be a fan for everything. Great review. There are some products that Whitney didn't like.... and no one is wrong for how they feel
Enjoy your videos. Just a suggestion put rubber glove on your injured hand then put tape around the wrist part of the glove so your hand doesn’t get wet.
Gurl..I have a stye right now too. It hurt so bad as the days went by… but it gets better but very tender. Melanin hair care products are great!

Great review! I did purchase the deep conditioner and it's definitely a weird thin custard texture. It's a light protein mask and I did use it with heat for 30 mins and my hair loves it.
Now I want to try the shampoo and oil and styler ! Thanks for sharing 👍🏼💚

I love all her products. I had the same reaction to the leave conditioner at first, but the more I used it I loved it as a multi use product. Try it on wet hair on wash day or use a spray bottle before applying. As a DC, it makes my hair feel like butter!

I have loved the product line since I began to go gray- I find my hair texture has changed - now I know how to do that twist out!!! THANK YOU for doing this review!!! If you should ever get another sty... a wet cotton ball, put a little baby shampoo (tearless of course) on the damp cotton ball... and wash your eyelashes - something that worked wonders with my military folks working in the field... Keep up the GREAT WORK~!!!!
Yes I have the butter and I love it. I used it on mini twist with a different leave in. So much bounce and moisture!!

I started with Naptual85 in 2017 when I decided to transition to natural hair. When she came out with her hair product line, I bought everything, shampoo, 2 of the multi purpose leave-in, 2 of the elongating hair cream and the oil. The only thing in the line my hair did not respond well to was the leave-in, so I gave it away. But the rest of the products are staples of mine. I have not purchased the deep conditioner because it hydrolyzed wheat protein in it. I am allergic to wheat. I use the elongating cream with The Doux texture form mousse. Great combo. My favorite hair care lines are Pattern Beauty, The Doux (the mousse, and both gels), and TGIN (Miracle RepaiRx line). My OG line is Giovanni Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture. I have been loving your content. Your hair and makeup, chef kiss. Feel better soon.
The LI is to die for! My hair feels moisturised for a week! 4B/4C texture here. It doesn't play well with UFD gel. I need a gel from Melanin for wash and goes which works with the LI!
I'm sold on the twisting cream.
My absolute favorite product I find that people don’t like it because it’s not being used as Whitney described. After towel dry rehydrate your hair with water first. I find her products are amazing!!

Love this brand. I have been using it since it came out. The product lasts a long time too. That leave in is a staple for my son and with detangling, it makes it a breeze!
Good idea to do flat twist in the front and regular twists for the rest. I am going to try that the next time I style my hair!

when i have an injury on my hand i put the smallest size glove on it to keep it protected. you can use medical tape to seal the opening at the wrist to provide more protection.

The key to using the leave in the conditioner is to apply it all over your hair prior to styling. By the time you begin to style your hair will have absorbed it and you will love it. It is actually my favorite leave in

Eden is an old G and I've had not bad reactions from their products on my sensitive scalp and sensitive hair!

Just to name a few in the shampoo its moisturizing black soap which has cocoa seed powder plantain skins,tea tree oil . Her products work very well.her products are in the middle range of product pricing

Hi Beautiful! I watch your videos all the time. I am so happy you chose to check out Melanin Haircare. I paused on the deep conditioner. The multi use conditioner leave in works for me. I bought the deep to try- but it was a no for me as well. Now the shampoo usb10/10 for me. The Oil??? In the beginning it used to be HEAVY in the geranium scent. Not my favorite. She recently reduced the scent. And Pie-yowwww, it's doing it all the things!
Can I also say you are adorablebwithout any make-up, I do like the change in the make placement change. Very becoming.
I would try the leave in conditioner as a deep conditioner , rinse out and add a little back for the leave in… I have the butter but it’s still full… it seemed too heavy…my least favorite… that and the oil… I’m going to revisit those products after seeing your results . Really pretty
I have only tried the multi leave in for a braid out and I add my hair butter cream on top my hair be moisturized for a whole week I also used it to detangled which worked great ☺️ I will definitely try the cream and oil after watching this
Melanin hair care is great!! I tried the deep conditioner which is not my preferred but it last a long time. I don’t use it for hydration. Her deep conditioner is more protein/moisture balance. It should feel softer and stronger vs hydrated. But idk what she got in the leave in bc it’s amazing !!
