Same with me!!! My hair is down to my armpit, but sill shrinks up to my earlobes 😂. I dont mind. I love having "short" hair and long hair at the same time.
1.split hair in 6 sections 2. Put water 3.use tangle teaser 4.put leave in conditioner 5. Put styling product (don’t touch scalp) 6. Split into two and use Denman brush Finger coil fuzzy parts of hair of nessasary
I always find it so interesting how hair porosity can effect your wash n go. I have the same curl pattern, but my hair is low porosity. In order for me to get results like this on the first day, I have to wait at least 30 mins to an hour for the conditioner, and then the leave in to absorb into my hair. Then I style with gel. If I don't, only my ends will curl up.
First, your hair is healthy and beautiful. Thank you for a great show and tell. I hate watching videos where people talk too much and are too long-winded when explaining and not getting to the point of the video. Your video was perfect. You were thorough, easy to hear and understand, without background noise or interruptions. Also detailed, yet brief. Thank you for sharing your process and products. 💯🥰🙏🏽👍🏽
Your hair is so cute and unique! I have curls as a South Asian woman but it’s very loose and prominent only when wet. When it’s dry and I comb it it does get poofy and a little frizzy but it grows vertically only! Afros are so unique for me as it grows out more horizontally or at least it looks like that. Only when you straighten it can you tell actually how long it is! ❤
You have a beautiful head of hair. While I like how we black women define our curls, I still think our hair in the natural afro state is tops. Regardless of our hair type. It's what sets us apart. No style beats that afro. It's just gorgeous stunning n unmatched.
I am so doing every step to this video as soon as I buy all the products you mentioned and trying it on my hair just to see if this would be a better method for me😊 your voice is so calming. I absolutely love your content. I've been natural for quite some time. I love seeing more people embrace their natural hair
I remember reading somewhere that the more your hair shrinks is actually a sign of how healthy it is 😅so it could be that your hair is in a much healthier state than when u had your 3c pattern
Great video. I am a white mother trying to educate myself on caring for my interracial 4 y.o. daughter's 3c hair. This was very helpful! I am stuck on how to refresh her curls for day 2 and 3 of leaving her hair down. I want to give her roots a break from updos, but don't know how to make her curls last past wash/styling day. I'd appreciate any advice or links to videos on the subject.
That is brilliant and I think people need learn about products that style 4c hair in ways they never thought possible in an easier straight forward way.
Beautiful, hair! Scrunching your hair with the diffuser is probably making the shrinkage more pronounced. I usually only see this technique with the diffuser used on types 2-3 curls, not type 4. For type 4, I usually see people using the blow dryer without scrunching or to stretch their curls once it's completely dry.
Same type of curls and it’s a lot of work 😵💫I usually style like this if it’s for an event most of the time the pineapple is my go to ….thanks for sharing ❤
You should stretch it lightly and dry it without the diffuser to stretch it. You can also Bobby pin the roots and dry them with the pins on it. I’ve seen some RUclipsrs do this.
Dope tutorial! By the way you mentioned you wished your hair was longer, it is! You can use the tension method to get more length in your wash and go during the diffusing step.
How often can you do this style to your hair before it gets too much? And how long does it last? I’m a type 4 too and I’m looking for a new style I can have as often as possible but nothing permanent. Your hair is beautiful btw❤❤❤
I prefer to wear my hair more like the afro at the moment rather than defined curls. Does anyone know any good products to maintain and moisture the afro (not define curls)
for post-care of the hair, do you just mist them the next day and gently pull them? Do you have to spray it to detangle it everyday or can you comb through it as is? Essentially, if anyone knows, what's the post-care routine to follow to keep the hair detangled, moisturized and prevent damage?
The shrinkage I have 3c hair and I cut my hair BIG CHOP TO SCALP in 2017. I swear it shrinks to the same length of 5 years ago to my ears 😓😓😓but yet it’s to mid back straightened Our hair is magic ❤❤❤
You are so lucky. Your afro is so dark and beautiful. I wished my afro could be as dark but it really lots like dry hair. And it is amazing how your curls are also so beautiful! You look good with both styles.
If you use perms to straighten your hair, use flat irons to straighten your hair it will not curl because it's damaged so the best option is to cut it off and start over. Buzzcutting is the best option for damaged hair.
Regardless of the hair! Is this woman for real? She looks like some ancient biblical creature 😮 like if someone has drawn her! Especially with the Afro hair! I would love to draw her! She’s drop dead gorgeous 😳
It never ceases to amaze me what some will do to have curly hair, is it really that important? All natural hair is always beautiful...What is number 3 and 4 hair please?😊
Love this sm! I usually forgo the towel, gets in my way lol. I always saw Texture ID products at my beauty supply, but I never thought they were a good brand. I'll definitely try out the styling custard!
I’ve been watching your videos ever since I did the big chop last year in November and I love your content❤️❤️ and I have a question: Do you use every product from the Dollar Curl Club? And if so, in which order do you use them?
I really appreciate your subtitles! I am deaf and a lot of youtube videos do not have subtitles. Thank you ❤
Of course!! I’m so glad they’re helpful!🙏🏽❤️
It’s like we grow it and grow it but it still shrinks back down to the same size even though it’s actually much longer 😂
Same with me!!! My hair is down to my armpit, but sill shrinks up to my earlobes 😂. I dont mind. I love having "short" hair and long hair at the same time.
I’m not gonna lie I do enjoy having shorter hair sometimes, it just looks better in certain situations 😭😂

Girl, don't be disappointed - this is PERFECTION! I am a super high shrinkage girl, as well but I have lg features so the volume works well for me.
I really want to try this since I can NEVER get any sort of defined curls on my hair at all. Thanks for the video tutorial!

My hair goals fr
Yepp🥲 and ty!❤️
I love that Coconut Oil Spray. It make my Afro shine, but the hair also smells good. Not sure why I waited so long to try it.
OAN: I love your hair 🩷

That is an impressive amount of shrinkage!

Great stuff, straight to the point, easy to follow, perfect visuals and splendid advice for those not quite at this level of hair health. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I would also recommend after detangling the section to twist/braid the section also great vid this helped my afro so much so ty!
Wow, this woman is gorgeous, and I'm madly in love with her hair.
Quick question: How long does it take someone to do all of that?
Gosh, your hair is working it and it seems the products mesh completely, so healthy. That’s what I would like to see from my hair just way too thin.❤❤
I wish I had a afro but I also have thick 3c-3b hair so if my hair is tuff to manage yours is probably worse😭 but love it
If you wanna grow you hair out just try to keep lt in protective sty,es as much as possible while oiling your scalp
Personally...I prefer your fro. I LOVE IT !
Same type of curls and it’s a lot of work 😵💫I usually style like this if it’s for an event most of the time the pineapple is my go to ….thanks for sharing ❤

I just love her hair.shes so pretty❤❤

I love your curl definition.
I'm going to try these products because my daughter's hair is like yours.
How often can you do this style to your hair before it gets too much? And how long does it last?
I’m a type 4 too and I’m looking for a new style I can have as often as possible but nothing permanent.

So glad we have the same hair texture.. Such a relief ❤
Thank you so much, because so far everyone i see suing curl activator is not at my level of curlage
You are so lucky. Your afro is so dark and beautiful. I wished my afro could be as dark but it really lots like dry hair.
And it is amazing how your curls are also so beautiful! You look good with both styles.
Thanks so much! I actually dye my hair with jet black hair dye every 4-5 months so that it looks super dark and fuller :)
The results came out great! 🤩
Thanks so much!

How long does it take you to do your hair? I'm learning how to do my natural curly hair and my results are not that good. I think I need more patience
Your hair is beautiful
I like that fro.
It never ceases to amaze me what some will do to have curly hair, is it really that important? All natural hair is always beautiful...What is number 3 and 4 hair please?😊
Texture ID products aren’t available in my country😔 do you have any good alternatives that give similar results?

How in the world does hair that long stand UP and OUT for an afro? I'm amazed and confused
Your hair is so beautiful and pretty
Your hair is so beautiful I wish I had it
Love it !
I have a question, does a hair masque count as deep conditioning ?
Yes!
My hair looks frayed, fried, feels crispy and damaged (when I pull it hair comes out pretty easily sometimes) but I use no heat at all
Love this sm! I usually forgo the towel, gets in my way lol. I always saw Texture ID products at my beauty supply, but I never thought they were a good brand. I'll definitely try out the styling custard!
can you do this with all types of hair or just a specific type?
What do you use to grow your hair it so beautiful
J'aime trop tes cheveux merci pour ces conseils
Wait ur hair is naturally curly but mine is matted and wavy 😢ur so lucky ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You're so close to 1m!
I’ve been watching your videos ever since I did the big chop last year in November and I love your content❤️❤️ and I have a question: Do you use every product from the Dollar Curl Club? And if so, in which order do you use them?
