Side note : For anyone looking into these 4 mic pre, 700 euro devices (Rode, Mackie, Boss), you surely should look at the new Allen & Heath CQ18T. Thank me later. Cheers!

Quite interesting. The lack of XLR inputs in the other offering is off putting for me.
Pretty cool. The interface is much better, than on my Gigcaster, but on the other hand the Gigcaster is has much, much more effects, and an instrument input. It would probably be interesting, to compare the different podcasting gear, like the Mackie, the Rode, the Boss, etc. with their strengths and weaknesses. We all know, that at least one of your friends has a Gigcaster, that you‘ve recomendet to him, and of course I have to validate by own purchase. ;-) Anyway, how are the latencies with NDI? I’ve only heard about it in the context of video before, not audio. Up to now I‘d plug in my Gigcaster into a Raspberry PI and use NetJack to forward the audio over the LAN to other devices. NetJack allows for a lot of settings, and with a good network you can get down to a latency, that is unnoticeable, even when jamming in different rooms.
Reverb is great for playing a guitar or singing during a podcast. Great units, and a stellar review!
Playing around with these was a lot of fun!
I love my DLZ. I picked it up day one. I was gonna use it also for some live acoustic guitar stream. But the effects seam mono. yack.. lol

No idea about the latency, we were just happy that we got it running
Great video. Funny effects. 🙂
I didn't know, you are recording a German podcast? What's its name? Where can I get it?
