Hi, I recovered my deleted files from recyle bin after accidentally deleting them, such as picture folders, videos, and downloads, but the problem is they are showing an x; it says that error. I can access it, but it's bothersome since I have no idea why it's like that. Please help.
Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N) n This is wat mine keep saying as of right May u please help me
Hi there, thank you for your question! When prompted with "Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts?", type Y and press Enter, then restart your system to let chkdsk run before Windows loads. Alternatively, open Command Prompt as Administrator by pressing Windows key + X and selecting Command Prompt (Admin), then type chkdsk (your drive letter): /f and press Enter. If the drive is still in use, close unnecessary applications or processes using Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), and then restart your computer for chkdsk to check and fix any file system errors.
