I performed this at my first piano recital three years ago..now I’m writing music of my own, I give all of the credit to this very song. It is so incredibly, heart wrenchingly beautiful you can’t help but to feel inspired.

@@jackbrown4568 oh shoot, I don’t really remember, I’m so sorry!! It was my old piano teacher that bought them, but I know that you can look on multiple websites and probably even apps for the sheet music but you typically have to pay for it.

@@florenciagargano6970 Yes!!! I heard Claire de Lune today, but my mind went blank and could not remember the title. I tried to Shazam it, but nothing came up. Then, I remembered the music at the end of Big Little Lies. Not the same but definitely similar.

I love this song so much. What's weird is I decided to watch Big Little Lies in September when I didn't want to watch that show before, my mom is battling stage 4 cancer and her fav place in the world is Monterey, CA. I'm glad I did. As melancholy a song it be, it's like someone put a microphone to my pulse when I'm falling in love ❤

Some of my favorite music I’ve discovered in movies and series - especially HBO. There’s a lot of talent who are excellent in finding music to fit with the scenes of a show. BLL made the most of the September Song. Agnes Obel is a magical artist. I’ve since collected all her music - it’s like nothing else. 💫

this song is what waking up on a cold Sunday morning feels like. a morning where the pale sunlight wakes you up as it spears through your blinds. a morning where you slowly open your eyes and feel the brisk air against your bare arms and take in the calm aroma of the autumn flow of wind push through the slightly opened window, that smell of fallen leaves and burned out candles.
Omg! These comments are making me so emotional because when I try to explain to my friends what her music makes me feel like, they never understood me. All they say is that it’s making them want to sleep. I always felt so bummed. When I’m with my friends or family, I normally don’t play my fav songs because all they like are the mainstream upbeat songs . But I’m so glad there are people like you who appreciate music like this.
