    As a black man who used to live in North Carolina , I can feel what this brother has been through and I had similar experiences . I am a Conservative Republican. I have argued with Black pastors and black members of churches who have supported the Democrat Party due to their stances on abortion, homosexuality and transgenderism and I have been lambasted by black churches for being a Conservative Republican where as in predominantly white churches, I have felt more welcomed. So, I can agree with this brother. I now live in New York City where I go to a multi-racial church. Much better.

      You do understand it’s a choice between the lesser of two evils, right? Sure the democrats support those things but so do republicans especially when it’s advantageous to getting what they want. Do you also know that everything you mentioned Republican never had issues with until it started to affect the white population more? You claim to be black but you’re also supporting a party that openly flirts with Racists, are filled with racists seeking the destruction of your people and are actively doing so. However you’ve chosen to identify with them purely because of religion, where most white Christians look at the same way they did 100 years ago as inferiors.

    From my experience the white and black church liked a “ part” of me. I’m a 11 year minister , Bible College graduate and have preached in hundreds of Churches. They loved me as the passionate black preacher and sincere Christian pastor. However , once I begin to voice my concerns on the treatment of black men in America 🇺🇸 I was rejected by both groups 🤷🏾‍♂️. Then those three ministerial degrees and 11 years of preaching didn’t mean as much to them...

      Maybe this is God's way it saying your opinions on the treatment of blk Americans is... off.
      After all, most opinions on this matter are just anti whitism.

    Identity Policies are killing the Soul of America. I am Latino, Caribbean and Black, this need to group and put everything in Labels is so unnecessary. Rights and Policies are for everyone, it is the best way to live together.

    This was a great insight into a position quite a lot of black people find themselves in. And the internal struggle of understanding what's going on while being seen as one thing from one side and another thing from another side, is a hard one. Thanks for sharing your perspectives, helped me realize a few things about myself and my own internal struggles. 🙏🏾

    I will be a sellout all day and continue to rock with the Manna Church. What black church do you know has a program to help those who ended up in human trafficking? I want to join the program so bad but my husband doesn’t want me too because he thinks that it’s not safe for me. They literally go to court with the victims and protect them. They help them with counseling, housing, clothing, food and so forth. They help integrate them into the community and help them get jobs and so forth. They have a place to feed the homeless like human beings in a building. I was dropping food off to the building not knowing that they actually belonged to Manna Church until I started attending the church.
    Plus there are no Black churches that have the Dave Ramsey program to help their congregation level up financially. They ask people to give but they never teach them how to level up financially so they can give more. It’s part of the reason why Manna Church is huge and successful in my community. Plus they also have a Spanish service.

    • @sueq.8296
      @sueq.8296 5 месяцев назад +1

      That’s not always true. You have to find the right church. Black folks are quick to give to other churches but there own. We don’t go to Bible study to learn about financial freedom. It’s out there. And if the church needs something we should step up and do it. Start it and talk about it. We don’t do that we sit back and complain. And that’s the sad part.

    Regarding intellectual, expository learning, (Rom 14:17; Col 2:2-8; I Cor 2:1-5):
    “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink (enticing words and excellency of speech); but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

    Thankful for coming across this. Its also why I like the Multicultural Church. I'm not just talking about people who use tokenism to make it seem like it is when it isn't representationally speaking, but a Church that looks like all nations, ethnicities are welcomed, and that being reflected in leadership. Black Churches struggle with this of seeing other people coming to their churches, but you can feel safe and heard, and white Churches often shut down conversations that are sensitive to BIPOC. We have to do better as a Church in our society as many have deconstructed and left the faith. This conversation was necessary to have. Thank you gentlemen.

    • @SeanWinters
      @SeanWinters Год назад +1

      I mean, part of it is that you, and all Christians, HAVE TO STOP thinking of "BIPOC" people. We are neither Greek nor Jew. Talk with white people, you will find very few yt Christians even think of themselves as yt.
      These problems literally only persist because people including yourself care so much about your skin color. You attribute problems in your life as being race related.
      Yt ppl have been ready to ignore this and welcome you into the "all American" family for generations now, but too many blk Americans are simply too invested in staying segregated, staying "separate". How do you not see this as the problem? The fact that there even is such a thing as "black churches" in 2023 is already a damning condemnation.
      Like, you mentioned "white churches", but such things do not exist in the same way blk churches do. Not by a long shot.

    Wow, so sorry you, or anyone feels that way. How can one truly follow Christ and only love certain parts of another image bearer. Though we don't have to like everything about each other, we are called to love one another. I am not black, but my people are those without a country, and called the country of whoever took is over. Though my family group was distained for keeping family heritage & language, we were taught to "heap coals", by loving others anyway. God help us all understand each other..sucesses and pain. Maranatha!

    Navel gazing over skin color is a carnally minded mistake. Jesus said in John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; THE FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING: the words I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life". Love your work Anthony! I don't know Lecrea but I wish God's blessings on him.

    The church God (Yahshua) talked about is not the building but the body of Christ (us) her up out those churches get back to God (Yahshua) laws and commandments. We are the branches of the 12 tribes. Read your Bible research for yourself and see where it takes you. Shalom family……. If you are apart of a church that practice the word of God and keeps his high holy days and feast and sabbath kn Saturday stay but if you do not acknowledge any of that leave because the word of Hid instructed us to live a way the black church now rejects. Again read y’all word and see for yourself
