Thanks for the cast Indrid , it's always a pleasure to watch the Big Chungus bell slap a Bloodthirster back to the Warp! Khorne is a strange match-up for Nurgle in Domination mode. I think Nurgle has the edge, but there are a few tricks that can very quickly turn the tide for Khorne. It's not uncommon to see a Khorne goon squad right out of the gate with an Exalted Bloodthirster and a Bloodthirster flying around and looking to feast on an isolated Lord, Hero, Soul Grinder, or other high value target. It's typically a good idea to try and keep your forces consolidated if you can, even though the Soul Grinder on the ridge *was* a cute idea. Nurgle's lack of dedicated Anti-Large makes it pretty tricky to deal with these, but the Great Unlean Ones -- Exalted or otherwise -- and Beasts of Nurgle can get the job done with a little support, as we saw today. Flanking Rot Flies can also work, but they get mega out-traded by the much cheaper Furies of Khorne... or any Chaos variant, really. :c The other huge threat are the Flesh Hounds of Khorne. They didn't do much here, but those bad bois can munch and crunch any Nurgle unit that they get the charge on, except maybe the Soul Grinder. They are also nightmarishly fast and are excellent tools to back-cap your natural VP, while your forces are distracted or waddling about. Bogging them down and keeping them in sustained fights with a potentially well placed Stream of Corruption, even against their Magic Resist, is a fantastic Nurglite solution. Another great tool against Flesh Hounds is the Forsaken of Nurgle. They can't hold like Plaguebearers or lawnmower like Spawn, but they are a good all-around Infantry unit for Nurgle. More importantly, they are your fastest capping tool by far. Stacking them on top of Nurglings, insulating them with a few Plaguebearers, or fighting side-by-side with the Cultist's armor sundering to alleviate their lack of armor piercing can give your infantry core some much-needed balance. That said, I think one of the best uses of Forsaken is to quickly (by Nurgle standards) get to and hold objectives. I know this has gotten a little long, but here are Khorne's army abilities: Level 1: Horne of Khorne -- In a relatively large radius all Khorne units gain +40 Melee Attack. Level 2: Relentless Rage (I think that's the name) -- Targeted Friendly Unit cannot die for 20 (?) seconds. Level 3: Sword of Khorne -- AoE armor piercing magic attack. I believe it's very common for players to just spam out the Horn of Khorne to tip melee fights -- is there any other type for Khorne? -- in their favor. Charging units into enemy is better than letting them take the charge( unless unit has Expert defence passive ) Weapon strength and melle attack get buffed by charge bonus
You shouldnt fight on the VPs when you own them. That forces your enemy to take loses while he tries to pass you or totally kill you off (what he cant do) cause number advantage is irrelevant when he is not on the VP. Also you get a lot of flank attacks into his units while they are trying to walk towards the VPs.
I`d suggest not bringing nurglings until late game. Skarbrand likes to spam his breath early game to farm kills for dmg % increase. Nurglings have the best output for him. Something like Forsaken would be best vs Khorne early game. Armored and ARP + regen, they can hold the line very well.
That looks like bloom that is making the snow do that. See if there is an option to shut it off, could also be the option post precessing effects which would be one setting to shut off bloom, motion blur n what not.
Great! If you would know this game as much as you know dow 2 than you could've got around 5k view per video. No kidding, check turin and rubberduckofwar, they are the top tww casters but non of em got the same calm voice that you have. I would like to watch more of this, but i think you need to improve your skill, i dont wanna sound like an a-hole but it shows that this is low level gameplay. Those of us who play this game for years are just need more tactics and tricks, becouse we know whats gonna happen just by looking at the map. So keep it up, i would like to see you do tournaments one day in tww3 becouse you have the perfect caster voice and you know how to filter out mouse and keyboard sounds.
