I feel like if you choosed a better lord for the changeling and sent him in sooner before the mutaliths died or sent the cockatrices to kill artillery, it wouldve been more tzeentch sided
The Zhangu War Drum is a support unit for Cathayan armies, which is best placed right behind the fighting line. It provides passive buffs to leadership and spell casting, while having two active abilities it can use. One provides additional armor to units in the area around itself, the other buffs melee attack and makes units immune to psychology, ensuring they stand their ground in the name of their Emperor. A thematically cool as well as effective unit.
I switch to cinematic view and that blue effect stays in starting location. If you switch to UI fog is back above the unit. So far no luck with mods to hide that effect.
It’s a shame because a lot of these units look really cool tbh. I can’t support it though after that atrocious corporate garbage response they just slung at us along with the price being more than double the lord packs in wh2 for more or less the same amount of content.. it’s not a matter of not being able to afford it either it’s just about the value you’re getting for that price and I just don’t see it.
I’m not saying it’s not overpriced by over 10 dollars, but it is more content than a wh2 lord pack - it just should be 15 dollars instead of 25 which is ridiculous
These aren't good. When you leave the huge backline of ranged attackers untouched for the entire battle, of course it's going to be entirely one-sided.
really hate how much more cartoonish TW3 looks over 2. The brightness of the battleground(green grass with flowers and bright blue sky) really takes away from the fact that this is a bloody war.

(at 17:08)"Cathay says "not today you %&$#@! they're summoning a 'get-the-&%$# -out of here and bury yourself in the latrine-ultra DRAGON' the emotions are... heart-stoppiiing...arg..." Any mods used to make the game look this bright and colorful? Mine looks way darker and less colorful.
Some maps are like that. But I also did some color correction.
