I've been watching indrid for years, since before the elite mod was a thing, really great to see you dip your toes into Warhammer 3! Can't wait for more!
Thanks for the great TWWH3 cast! It was nice to see Ku'gath being used. If you wanted to lean even harder into Nurgle's tremendous blob fight superiority, you should give the Exalted Great Unclean One a try. They are a little bit better straight-up combatants and slightly more maneuverable -- I think they have 38 speed? -- than Ku'gath; more importantly, they can bring a Mortis Engine effect to drain the hp of nearby enemies in melee combat. They come in a few magical flavors, but the Lore of Nurgle lets you bring what is effectively a better blob fighting Ku'gath. On the note of Nurgle's Army ability, don't forget that the level 2 heal Fecundity and level 3 Rot are both Plagues, meaning they will spread to nearby units. Fecundity will spread to all nearby allies, and Rot will spread to all nearby enemies. I hope you continue to enjoy your time in Warhammer 3! (:

Additionally, once your current Age of Wonders play through is concluded I’d be stoked to see either a Shakarn one or, if you’re interested in branching out, a Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous play through. Very similar to Pillars of Eternity in terms of gameplay so I think you may enjoy it.
I love how you nerd-around in this cast. For DOW2 you are more in the caster seat, because you don't play yourself (that often? Anymore?). But in this casts you were criticizing yourself, the enemy and even the game itself! :D
why don't people know how to use skarbrand with slaughter and carnage. kill chaff first before you go for single entities. everyone just charging him into bad matchups makes me sick
yea im curious how nurgle does against a khrone that runs super efficient anti-melee units. if he had brought the duel wielding chosen, i think your nurgle demons would have melted but i'm not too familiar with them either.
@@TheHandofDestiny even if we assume equal skill? surely flanking units with big anti-infantry bonuses will help? i guess nurgle has his on montro cav if he was worried about someone bringing any and they can probably tie down and khorne cav for awhile
@@regularspecial1 Healing and Mortis engine effects that nurgle has access too would chunk through even the spell resist of khorne, and since nurgle lesser daemons can hold Khorne infantry pretty well, and Nurgle greater daemons are great in the matchup since they have the combat abilities to contend with khorne greater daemons and are great against infantry, The way khorne plays fits perfectly in how Nurgle wants to fight
There’s rumours that’s the plan once tww3 finishes its dlc cycle, as creative have access to a wide range of warhammer licenses; hence the inclusion of some age of sigmar models. I’d expect official news by the end of the year, since their focus is this and the remasters of old titles first half of ‘22.
The chaos hounds and furries pick from the Khorne player is because you cannot counter pick in domination, you better get a build ready for any occasion, especialy against ranged faction.
If that is the case, this match up seems a bit weird to me... The chaos hounds and and furries look very weird against Nurgle, should have pick bloodhounds or chaos warrios with dual weapons as you mentioned.
Why would you recommend land battles over domination? the game isnt balanced over land battles anymore. In fact, this is gonna be the new tournament format because of clear cut rules.
And domination is balanced? I’ll remember that as Cathay and ogres… Besides land battles are way more cinematic and better to show off units then randomly throwing stuff over to random spots
I got into MP for this series of games back in TW WH2 around the time when Grom got released. Wasn't the best time to get active, however almost all the dudes I got into my friends list(had to friend dudes to join their games back in WH2) from that mini-era generally prefer land battles over Domination.

The only credit I will give to it is that we don't need to worry about rule sets that much anymore, apart from the basic no double spells, some specific unit caps that differ from CA's, ect. As we can all see CA kinda fucked up MP for TW WH3 on release and this game won't achieve a good "balance" unless updates for MP are more regular apart from doing them with every DLC. After they fix all these stupid bugs of course.

Big Exalted fella sounds good, will have a closer look at him. The artillery attack on Ku'gath is nice though.

Close, it goes on cd after being out of combat for a certain time. And yea it counts down from 15 seconds when you enter combat

Nurgle is one of the only factions that can contend with Khorne in a melee grind, Honestly I would say Nurgle has the slight advantage
Nurgle vs Khorne is nurgle's best MU.

You can see what faction you are up against once you lock in though.

It might be that this player simply auto-generated an army and then went with it. Was only my second game so low rank.
