My mom got something like this in 1989. It was a wedding gift. It took microcassettes and had a flashing red LED, that stuck out of it when there was a message. It also had a notepad. However, it was never used for its intended purpose, but as you might imagine, kids goofing off. Thanks for sharing.

The only thing you needed to remember back in the 80's was don't take his RC you can have all other pops but don't take dads RC!!! Our else!😜😜😜
