I loved this band more than anything when I was a kid. I still have all the old albums and 45’s. Kids these days don’t know how lucky they are with having videos at their disposal. We had to wait for a tv performance on a show and there was no cable so you had to hope you got the channel they were coming on. But it was so exciting catching a performance here and there. I saw the documentary and remembered a lot of the footages from back in the day. Who knew all they were going through? At least they were happy on stage. And shame on the mother for not doing anything about it. Especially giving her daughter up and choosing a man over her kids. Paul was the only one who saw it for what it really was.

Loved the Cowsills when I was a kid, so sad to see the documentary. Tears behind the curtain. I recall my grief when two of the brothers died so close together. But the music is a monument to their talent and their work.

life is full of a lot of trouble for everybody
    THATS NORMAL
    TRAGEDY IS BASE LINE NORMAL
INJUSTICE IS ,LESS PERVASIVE,BUT STILL VERY COMMON
STRAIT UP MALEVOLENCE ,THANKFULLY YOU ONLY HAVE TO DEAL WITH ONCE IN A WHILE
BUT YOU COUNT ON IT TO SHOW UP EVENTUALLY
if the story of your life is one of mere tragedy, YOU WON THE LOTTERY!!!! YOUR A BIG WINNER!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
the trick in life is not to escape tragedy, injustice and malevolence,
because you cant, its not possible, just forget that right now
the trick in life, is to embrace those things willingly and in the name of a higher purpose YOU HAVE CHOSEN
IF YOU CAN DO THAT YOU HAVE KICKED ASS IN LIFE AND ARE THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE
YOU CAN EVEN END UP NAILED TO A STICK, AND BE THE KING OF KINGS
that last ones actually been done

I don't buy that story Susan tells. Just because a little 10 year girl is in jeopardy, she doesn't suddenly & magically become more powerful than a grown man, even if that man is drunk. The story is beyond suspicious.
