This is a great show. Thank you.
OMG Black Sabbath at 4: minutes in!: Heaven and Hell (Neon Knights) being played on 92 Citi Fm.
Im originally from Winnipeg and listened to Jake at Citi fm growing up as well as Ckis fm in Winnipeg, i remember him being into the drag bike seen at Gimli when i lived in Petersfield M.b. and when I had moved to British Columbia in 1990 living on Vancouver Island and moved to Abbotsford in 1996 was surprised to hear his familiar voice again at Cfmi fm Vancouver rock 101 was always on my stereo at work and home or in the car , we shared similar music interests and I always enjoyed his joking around, miss his on air personality.
What a time capsule!!! I'm sure today's dj booths are alot more comfortable.
Way roomier, a lot less equipment. Automation has changed everything.
i'm a born and raised winnipegger from this era; however, although i did listen to 92citi i was no brother j0ke fan.
That old CITI-FM booth looks like it's torn right out of WKRP...
Larry Updike has maintained for decades that WKRP had way more fact than fiction on that show.
Ah during the metric conversion when they still gave the temps in Fahrenheit and Celsius
3:42 The classic Environment Canada Weather channel...on a black and white TV I guess?
Well I see someone liked WKRP in Cincinnati.
Brother"the Champ"Edwards

People are gonna comment "back when blablablabla phone bad blablabla" on their phones.
Ok, boomers.
"Back in my days we had a rotary attached to a party line. Yup, I walked to school up hill, both ways. We would wake up to -56F and have to milk to cows."
lol. cute kid.
The good ol'days of radio, love it
Probably still doesn’t know how old a boomer would be. Everyone must be a boomer though.
