The rhythm guitar is always buried in these live Whitesnake clips.

@terrafirma91 Coverdale did that with his mic stand for years...dunno if he was the first to do that, but it's part of his onstage 'schtick...' as for what faces Sykes is making, a lotta guitarists make bizarre faces...it's almost like an extension of what they're feeling while they play, as if the way they play/move their face helps or something...far better for musicians to seem expressive than stand their all stoic 'n shit...doin' a whole lotta nothin'...lol.

Muguel! I'm sure, you have no idea what is monitor mixing in the central AMP.What do you think? Everyone plug their isntruments and just play :D.How Lee S.Hoover said it's just bad recording.

Idk if you are joking or not, but in case you're being serious, I would suggest that the sound guys didn't do a great job on the night. They should have mic'd his drums better since Cozy always hit with a lot of power anyway. The guitar is way low in the mix as well

@@heavenhelp1982 Nevertheless, Neil sounds awesome in the mix.

Why does the guitarist make those expressions at 2:54? He looks like he's "going oral" on somebody. And why the phallic symbol by Coverdale at 3:15? That's a little over-done by other past groups already. Outside of these observations, very good live performance.

It sounds like a bad monitor mix. It's not the band, for sure. With the guys in that band, I'm sure they sounded amazing. Just a bad recording.
