Wonder the reason behind callin him justin instead of Easton. They must did it on purpose to have 2 Justin's running the channel kinda cool I guess more confusing then anything and to be fair what the fuck even is a Easton
ive got a 6.0 without headstuds at 300k miles, Love it but damn the anxiety is high. Trips from Florida to Michigan and back can almost give a man a 6.0 power stroke heart attack
I had to pull a boat recently that had one of the side rails rot off and even then I don't think I was sweating as hard as being 1000k miles from home with a no-stud 6.0
Have zero faith in any 6.0. I’m still driving my 02’ 7.3 4WD Lariat. Only 394,000 miles on it. No blow by. Every 5,000 miles 14 quarts of fresh oil and a pint of Hot Shot Secret Stiction fluid. Original HPOP, injectors, rest of long block. Transmission rebuild/ beef up at 200k. Starter, alternator, a/c clutch, high pressure oil lines. Few other normal wear items and sensors But nothing major. Want a 6.7 but can’t bring myself to drop $100,000 when this one is still strong. Hope yours comes out and holds together.
Ive had zero issues with my 6.0 I've slowly built it better over rhe years but all internals are still stock one thing I did blow was my transfer case but other than that I'm at about 700hp still going strong
@cupwalker24.7 That's not 100% true they rust regardless. My 03 sierra I got 480k miles out of. Oil sprayed twice a year, and I washed it regularly. The rockers were toast, the frame was crusty, and the wheel wells were starting to go. I got my use out of it, but the body/frame went before the engine and trans..
@@OnewheelordealTo be fair, he did buy it outright at that price. Granted it was pre-Covid prices. But he still bought it at that. Idk if any of the other guys did or not.
Dang! Florida has the same salty air that we have in New Brunswick. Vehicles barely last 10 years before you are welding in new floors and rockers just to make it pass inspection.... I don't miss that!
Man, all these 6.0 videos have made me want one 😅 maybe it’s a false confidence I have, but after the right modifications they seem to take a ton of abuse
Once done right, they're certainly an animal that'll take *some* abuse. They're pretty solid and will last a while. WAY better than the 6.4 pile that replaced it
If you find a decent one that’s been well maintained/low miles they aren’t too bad. Mine has no studs but only sits at 130k miles. Typically, head studs=probably been abused. I’ve had more brake issues than engine issues. 😅
Been waiting way too long to see the 6.0 burnout truck come back for something!!! 🙏🏻 pretty dope you’re bringing back your roots for the challenge even tho you know the blocks limited
If memory serves, I think this was a pool truck when JH picked it up. My memory is foggy, but it either had to do with pools, or constantly dropping boats in the salty Gulf
Up north, its not worth buying a diesel truck unless you tow for a living. Your truck will rust away before you get to 300,000 miles. Most trucks are shot after driving thru 10 winters.
You sound so proud of your trucks rusting in half by 100k miles of your lucky, believe me we don't want to be on yalls rust problems you can have all them issues I kinda enjoy being able to work on my stock 1994 c1500 with 518k miles on the clock without snapping off every bolt just doing a brake job😂 I couldn't imagine what yall gotta deal with, my heart goes out to yall fellas up north
This sounds like something I would like to do one day 💪🙏🤞 I usually Keep and Build and Enjoy My Diesel trucks for my self .... But I wanna see what they are capable of soon . Luckily there is a place for us poor guys to do this now .
11:39 i’m just gonna re-seal it. It’s all good drops in a new set of connecting rods and some pistons to hold the nitrous. Seems like it’s going to be a built engine to me.😂
Bottom of that cab looks like every Canadian Rust bucket that wasn't oil sprayed every spring or fall. If I ever bought a new 60ish grand truck. Have it Dismantled N Raptor line the hole underside of it. There should be trucks offered from the factory with that option.
If you're going to do a serious diesel burnout vehicle. I'd suggest putting it in something cool. I think the people like the diesel swap especially something making power.
Love the vids. You need some shop upgrades for the guys. Use some helicopter money to fancy up the shop a little. Just a thought.( I know it doesn't go far)😊❤
You should build a race truck vs another burnout truck. I never really understood the burnout truck thing. I like doing burnouts to a point but just beating them up by hitting the wall and blowing motors up is a little over kill.
Jh. Who do you recommend to rebuild (preferably above oem standards) for a 2013 Cummings transmission. Also possibly 87 chevy square body that I think he'll sell.
Sheeeeaaatttt…. 😝 Them fox shocks, front tires and traction bars is all that truck is lol. Right there’s the $1,500 you value it at lol. 😆 Be fair, but don’t cut yourself short… You’re probably going to be the most honest person of the bunch. When you could easily cheat your way to victory and no one would ever know, but your too honest…
You pointing at the bottom of that cab and saying "it's pretty much shot" shows how spoiled/lucky you guys are. That cab looks like literally brand new compared to the 7.3 I daily lol. I fixed my missing rockers with new doors lol
*question for jh. I have an 04 6.0 bulletproofed besides head studs. Has new hpop, icp, ipr, main engine harness, ficm, fuel pump, fuel pickup.... Still have a problem with it running til it gets warm then it dies. You can cycle the key and it fires up. Any suggestions
had me laugh when you said you can get a decent running diesel for 10k lol up north we couldnt even touch your burnout truck the way it sits for under 15k people have prices so high
but technically, it will be a built motor because you’re building it. Technically, there’s always a loophole. I’m not building a motor. I’m just gonna put these new trick heads on here upgrade the pump put the big massive injectors in there. We got this big 110 mm turbo we’re going to put in it. It was some leftover freebie junk.😂 8:20
@JH Diesel and 4X4 Justin, do you have enough money for a cheap compound turbo setup so that when you do the burnouts that you don't lose power at the bottom end of the range of a single turbo ?????
Justin really makes shit happen for JH. What a good dude. Hard ass worker too.
And the complicity between both is awesome. Kinda like a Cleet and Squirrel! 😂
And he gets it done in crocks lol
@@adamlambert3892 in 2 and 4 wheel drive….
Look at his short, it says a lot! The man is here to get sh*t done

I'm glad to see you all resurrecting the old 6.0L. The channel is legit, guys. Keep it up.
This channel has the potential to be incredible, it's getting there. Already it's entertaining as hell.

Florida to Michigan? I take it you may have a snowbird rig that hauls a 5th wheel down here?
I've got head studs and the anxiety is still there 😂
I’m keen for the big mud truck to be running again but this challenge got me fired up let’s go boys
There's a worsp in there He bit my fanger! 😂😂😂
CHARLIE BIT MY FINGER~!!
He bit my fanger I don't like it
Glad you joined the PDC! We're excited to have you!

You should do a budget twin turbo set up lol. I've seen it done pretty cheap as long as you can weld.
That rust ain't nothin compared to the rust up north. You're lucky to have a cab.... or even more lucky to have a visible frame lol
No doubt. I'm from Ohio and that cab and those rockers are mint up here 😂
@@keithstubbs4473 yep lol. PA here. I got lucky to buy an 86 f150 here in PA that wasn't rotted out.. only because it came from Georgia lol
Yeah gotta take care of them . Nobody does that anymore ...I keep mine alive and rust free . Takes a lot of work though .
@Antiquefarmequipment Yep, if it's over 5 years old buy from down south lol

I just came here to see John Daily 🍻
You the only dude gonna keep anything fair. You watch
I mean starting with a truck you bought at historical prices vs today is already kind of a grey area ppl should be utilizing
@@OnewheelordealTo be fair, he did buy it outright at that price. Granted it was pre-Covid prices. But he still bought it at that. Idk if any of the other guys did or not.

Once done right, they're certainly an animal that'll take *some* abuse. They're pretty solid and will last a while. WAY better than the 6.4 pile that replaced it
Once junk always junk. If you have to rebuild 75% of it get a 7.3.
If you find a decent one that’s been well maintained/low miles they aren’t too bad. Mine has no studs but only sits at 130k miles. Typically, head studs=probably been abused. I’ve had more brake issues than engine issues. 😅
Glad to see you decided to order a new egr... Hopefully it will get there in time
Glad to see the ol 6.0 comin back, and my 2004 6.0 is all stock no studs yet, love the videos.
I love a 6.0! Best sounding diesel truck ever made
Awesome to see ya joining robert. Gonna be sweet watching that lb7 whoop ass 👀
This is going to be awesome. Let the games begin.
The most underrated RUclips channel in my opinion right now !
loved the budget mud bog build series! would honestly love to see another but maybe at a cheaper budget such as 5k for a even harder challenge.
JH and Justin, y'all rock! Love the 6.0 build. Peace ✌️
Hell yea, fire content 🔥🔥🔥🔥 keep these cheap diesel vids coming plz 🤟🏽

Loved the Moms following the pace car. Ha ha ha ha
Dang alligator wasps! 🐊🐝
Comp sounds hella fun!
Them shocks you put on when it was gonna be a dirt truck for a second can’t be cheap lol😊
That southern rust ain’t got nothing on our northern rust 😂
If memory serves, I think this was a pool truck when JH picked it up. My memory is foggy, but it either had to do with pools, or constantly dropping boats in the salty Gulf
Come to 🇨🇦 if you wanna enjoy some crusty rust 😝👌. The amount of salt they pour on our roads is insane 🤦♂️😩.
Up north, its not worth buying a diesel truck unless you tow for a living. Your truck will rust away before you get to 300,000 miles. Most trucks are shot after driving thru 10 winters.
@pauliewalnuts240 yup and most start to surface rust at 5. Well, in Upstate NY in the snow belt, they certainly do.

Almost time for mine!
Looking forward to this one !
Fun competition, now go win it bro
This is going to be a awesome challenge ❤
Southern rust = wire wheel and some PB blaster.
Northern rust = Cut out and replace what you can. Improvise the rest.
Looks like that one set of bearing got hot from the way the crank looked.
Y'er an honorable man JH...don't cheat, compete 👍
This is gonna be a cool build!
Adding a second Justin was the point where the builds went to epic style. May I refer to the amphibious Prius

That Flexzilla air line has to be some of the cleanest line I've seen aside from a new one😂
Welcome to the JHungle

Why not ball hone, fresh rings and bearings etc if your already stripped so far down? Definitely cranking out the work!
Up here in the north, that thing would be mint
J and JH diesel new name.

Alright now. Y'all, I can't be the only one that enjoyed the impact buzzin at 2x speed from 11:28- 12.00

You wanna have everything in a row to do that build, i understand!
Get rid of those stock manifolds and get a set of bd's and there up pipes and that will help egts a lot
Need to take the truck to Sam at Cleetus shop and have him shine ✨ it up
Iwant to see you guys build the duramax race truck and go enjoy it
Justin, I heard some guy called Cleet, has some turbos just sitting in his office. I doubt he needs them all.
Get ready to see a bunch of $10k budget builds that have $30k in them.
You must not know any of the people that he’s talking about?
6.0s can be fast but boy the 6.4 was a whole different animal. To bad they had so many issues.
You should build a race truck vs another burnout truck. I never really understood the burnout truck thing. I like doing burnouts to a point but just beating them up by hitting the wall and blowing motors up is a little over kill.
Surprisingly most the 6.0’s that come to my shop are stock head bolts

Yep so nice!!!
This video is awesome and what is the blue frame for in the new video
What’s wrong with 50 shades of yellow. That’s the perfect truck
The 6.0 diesel is definitely a bad design lol.
Hows your lady.? She went hard into the dash..
Did you price in those fox shocks
Can't you use a jet from a lawn mower carb as a nos nozzle
Should cleet and squirrel try to beat it with a gas truck?
A 7.3 would be more fun and a true challenge.
That’s a real man’s motor. Except Cletus. Their just destroying theirs like they do everything else. Frat boys. Lol
