Tracie...your emotional moment is just killing me... I cried at the genuine appreciation you showed. The two of you had sooo much fun! What a lifelong memory you guys will have!
I love you girls! Traci you have such a sweet heart. You made me tear up too when you talked about all the love you girls felt at Rhinebeck. Sending hugs from Oklahoma.
I've been smiling since your podcast started. What an amazing time you two had! And I'm sure Helen and the rest were just as in awe to meet you both as you were of them. The yarn you picked, beautiful as always. And, when you talk about the crowds rushing to jam in to get their yarn, but people like Miss Bab's restocked and didn't run out of yarn. Most of us are afraid of just that. I imagine anyone who could afford to go to this, had goals in mind for their yarn favorites and going home with out that yarn that you went to get would be a bummer. Plus, I know from experience that trying to get yarn from an "update" on line is almost impossible. I love the Yarngasm podcast and all of her yarn, but I've tried several times to buy yarn but it always sells out before I can buy it. The updates hold only so much yarn, so only so many people get that yarn. Then having her and her yarn selling at this event would have anyone who can't get it on line, shoving their way in. Sometimes not a pretty sight, but don't get between a knitter and her yarn! I have watched several podcasts on this years Rheinbeck event and you all seemed to have had a great time! And what strikes me the most is all of you said the same thing. It was the meeting of friends and fellow knitters that counted the most, not the buying of anything. That's what good hearts do. They fill with love and joy and nothing can beat that! Thank you for all you both do for the knitting and crafting community. You inspire and make us all feel like we are all your best friends. Love you to both and blessings!
Helen messaged me after she gave you the shawls to say how thrilled you both were. Jodi, it was a pleasure to knit for you, every stitch was knit with love. I can't wait to cast on one for myself, I think I'll wait for your KAL. My daughter just walked into the room as I was watching your podcast and said, "isn't that the shawl you were knitting?" !!! Thank you both for giving us so much joy and laughter, I look forward to each episode. xxx
Deb Hickman Deb!!! The shawl is absolutely treasured....we can’t wait to get knitting the Surprise Party too....our heads are still spinning! xxoo (hello to your daughter!)
Living la vida loca vicariously - and already have two Bundle Up Betty dolls on their way, with all patterns purchased! So excited to knit up some stash to dress that cute girl! You are amazing, as always!
So exciting hearing about all your adventures at Rhinebeck and other excursions. And the yarn and goodies...I can't even. Your stories are so much fun. Aww, Tracie, when you teared up, I could feel how much it meant to you. That's how much people love you gals too. The bag with 7 skeins of yarn with the progress keeper, is over the top. It was absolutely gorgeous. Jodie was right, it would make a beautiful Find your Fade shawl, which I have been wanting to knit since it came out. I'll keep my eyes peeled on ravelry to see how to enter and keep my fingers crossed. That would be like winning the Jackpot!
Loved your Rhinebeck recap, ladies! Hilarious as usual, and your yarn you came home with is BEAUTIFUL. OMG Tracie, your eyeball shawl is going to be gorgeous with those colors. I loved meeting you!
Hi Ladies - so thrilling to “attend” Rhinebeck with the two of you! I did pre-order “I can’t even” from Nicole the minute I saw it on line! And, I, too, am a big fan of Kristin from Voolenvine’s yarn - I have been collecting it since you first introduced me to her yarn last year. Also ❤️ Heather’s yarn. Thanks again for taking me there! 😘😘
Best podcast ever!! I cried, from laughing and from happiness for your adventure ...so much I had to stop and wipe my eyes to see again. The shawls are epic!! You both make all 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦knitters proud as you represent us to knitters around the world . Love you both ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your excitement for Rhinebeck. Totally enjoyed it. I knitted on a cowl while I watched your podcast. Had to rip back a couple of rows because I was more focused on you girls than my pattern, LOL. Can't wait for the next podcast. Get some rest!
I hope when I got to meet you in person at Knit City, and told Jodi she was the knitting version of my mom, that you saw the glee in my eyes upon meeting you. There is glee in my heart every time I see one of your podcasts come up. You bring so much joy. Thank you.
Aw. Loved how you did so much more than just Rhinebeck! I may have to suggest this more places to go and slower pace at Rhinebeck to my knit sibs for next year.
This was just wonderful! I get such a kick out of your humor, edgy and otherwise. I had a friend shop for me at Rhinebeck but I really want to go someday. I lived it vicariously through the two of you. Thanks, GGirls!
Ladies, You just kill me; I can't even, No, really, I can't even express the joy you bring to my knitting time,; although the laughing tears do get in the way sometimes! Jodi, You're a hoot--Love the fingering bag and ball sacks!!!! You're trip was an amazing adventure and your recap was excellent and the haul, oh well have to say, Yarn Envy, for sure! Thanks for sharing and Happy Knitting!
What a great video!! Thanks for sharing!! Love the anatomically correct sheep!! That was hysterical!! The yarn was just luscious. I wish I could buy some of what you had. I'm saving for sweater quantity , but having a hard time deciding who to get it from. So many choices. See you in the next podcast.
I'm saving to go next year to Rhinebeck, its been seventeen years since I've seen the fall foliage in upstate New York. I enjoy your podcast so much. It really is like sitting in the same room and talking and knitting together. Thank you!
I adore your podcast. You have likely helped launch the careers of many indie dyers! I know I’ve bought many skeins from dyers that you have showcased. I’m not surprised that you were feeling the love. You get back what you give and you both give a lot of love. Thank you for the recap. Loved seeing what you brought back.
Why on earth would anyone give you girls a thumbs down?! You both are fabulous to listen to and watch. Looking forward to the next episode. Thanks for discussing Rhinebeck .
Carol Rabich, I have heard of other podcasters say that they will sometimes get a thumbs down seconds after the video posts. I think it is people being trolls. ☹️
you guys are wonderful! such a great podcast! it's been so much fun seeing you in other podcaster's videos too! knitting teddy bears for 4 nieces and 3 nephews and a 10 stitch red and green Christmas afghan for us, and boy am I getting a lot of knitting done, although I was just glued to the podcast. Great yarn haul! and I signed up for every podcast you mentioned that I wasn't subscribed too and saved a lot of yarn dyer websites and favorited a lot of Etsy shops as you went a long. Great time! thanks thanks!
Love your podcast. Hope I can get to Rhinebeck next year. It was fun to hear about your escapades. Love Helen Stewart’s Surprise Party Shawl. I bought that as well as ordered the Hue Loco yarn Shut The Front Door color-way. Can’t wait to get yarn and cast on the shawl.
Enjoyed this so much! I used to live in Pawling, NY, and went to Rhinebeck every year. Now just living vicariously in the Midwest. Love that sock blank, would love to have it. I've dyed sock blanks, but they sure as heck don't look like AndreSue's!
I love your shawls. That was the first thing I noticed when you started talking and I was wondering where to get the pattern to make it. Then I was even gladder to hear that there will be doing a knit along to make this shawl. Ooooo, yes, I'm in. I would love to win the pattern and the yarn set. Such a gorgeous colour palette. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Love your podcast.
Tracie Millar How exciting it is to hear from you. I've been following you from the beginning of your podcast. That shawl pattern is out of this world gorgeous. Ill be watching you and your sister as you continue to entertain me through tears of joy and hoots of laughter. A Canadian knitter.
Fabulous podcast...again! You ladies were #1 bucket list dream and I was so thrilled to meet you. You’re the reason for my trip to Rhinebeck. Love you so much! Your tips for R are spot on! Tracie, you made me cry when you got so overwhelmed by good feelings on the podcast. I cried with you! Viv
Viv Crestfield oh, Viv...thank you so much for these kind words! We had a great first Rhinebeck too and meeting you and all of the amazing knitters that came was the best part! When i stopped to really soak it in, its just SO MUCH...in a great way. ❤️
Loved your Rhinebeck recap! I'll get there some day.... In the meantime I had to go check out that Elizabeth Zimmermann pin you mentioned. Yep. Reader, I ordered it. :D Thanks for sharing all the lovely people and loot from your amazing weekend!
I don't do well with crowds, so it's just as well that I probably won't ever go. I'm glad that so many are sharing their experiences - it's almost like being there!
My younger sister and I are 13 months apart and (although I have not lured her into the yarn world), we are notorious for buying the exact same thing usually around the same time without even talking to each other... even when we lived in different states! I love having a sister
I went to Rhinebeck for the first time in 2010. I was greeted by SO many people, a few asked what I was working on. I thought what a wonderful group of people, so nice, and apparently they all like my Ravelry project pages. Then one of them referred to me as Clara, and I realized they thought I was Clara Parkes. I am a dork.
I’m sure I will have more things to comment on but I seriously almost spit my coffee out laughing when Jodi said the thing about the stray hair 😂😂😂 I love y’all!
Did you ever think that the knitting community would ever be so wonderful? It's the best place to be, the best people to be around. Knitting = friendships
I went to Rhinebeck my first (and only so far) time in 2015. I knew about the crowd crush the first day, so I went on Sunday. It was still pretty crowded but not suffocating. I'm super lucky, my sister-in-law lives in Amsterdam, NY so we stayed with her and drove to Rhinebeck (about 1-2hrs). Now I live in Kansas and Rhinebeck is not possible. I'm looking forward to Estes Wool Festival in CO.
When I see the notification come across my device that you have uploaded a new podcast, I get the same feeling as when I see the hot light on at Krispy Kreme Donuts! I love you girls. Thank you for sharing your Rhinebeck experience with the rest of us.

Hello from Chile!!! I met You thanks to Connie Chileknitz and I´m loving your podcast!! Going to Rhinebeck is on my bucket list, but I´m a grad student and I can´t do it for now, so thank You so much for sharing your experience and tips!
Indie Untangled is in my hometown - Saugerties - at a much bigger venue in 2018! It's a great little town (with an awesome LYS - Perfect Blend) and will hopefully be much more manageable :)
I hope to visit Rhinebeck one day. Love watching you both. The yarn is so lovely you just want t get started knitting! I find it so sweet that you wanted to help the lady with the credit card issue. Did people get in touch to pay for their shopping afterwards?
I have met Yuki at her stall at the Knitting and Stitching Show in London. She is brilliant. It was so surreal talking about Japanese patterns and then Shetland patterns and yarn with Yuki and 2 ladies from Denmark. If you can read schematics and read charts then you can read a Japanese pattern all the abbreviations are standardised. There is a lady in America who does courses in Japanese knitting ( can't remember the name but she appeared on the Fruity Knitting podcast). Great podcast as usual .
you two crack me up; love the "out takes" (or in this case, the pre-show "prep"). you make me giggle. you could talk about dusting pieces of china and I'd watch.
New subbie here down in Virginia! I fell in love with y'all IMMEDIATELY! So happy to binge watch you and the Espace Tricot ladies! I found you through watching their podcasts. XOXO!
Love the Kirk color (from Gilmore Girls)... could Totally see you two knitting and watching that TV show. Plus could you put names/links of who you got stuff from??
Oh Connie has given me advice to bring a suitcase in a suitcase hahahah so that's what I'm going to do and I'll worry a bout the cost of shipping it back AFTEr I've packed it full hahahaha. It's going to be so wonderful and I hope to bring my daughter so it'll be a girl's trip. xxx
it was so fun meeting you briefly, however embarrassed I was to be fan girling that hard. So nice to hear about the rest of your weekend since I wasn't able to make it to Needles Up.
Oh, thank you sooooo much for mentioning my credit card issue at Indie Untangled. That was so wonderful. Seriously can't thank you enough. So many people have reached out to me saying they heard about it on your podcast.
I dye and watch. I can do more than an hour. I want the unedited version, because I think it would be hysterical. I think a bunch of knitters and some dyers should do a group cruise, not a ton of people, but to the Bahamas. I've wanted to do a small group for years now. I happen to love cruises and think knitting can make an excuse for anything.
Tracie...your emotional moment is just killing me... I cried at the genuine appreciation you showed. The two of you had sooo much fun! What a lifelong memory you guys will have!
Best Rhinebeck podcast. I laughed, I loved and I cried. Love you two the most!
Loved seeing your haul, and thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your Rhinebeck trip! Yes! Knitters are so awesome! Your new yarns are so gorgeous.
I love you girls! Traci you have such a sweet heart. You made me tear up too when you talked about all the love you girls felt at Rhinebeck. Sending hugs from Oklahoma.
My husband's in the hospital and we are going through some rough times. Watching you guys had made my Sunday bearable. Love you guys!

I spent three summers working in a summer camp in Rhinebeck! Totally adorable town! So glad you enjoyed it!
It's 4am and I just watched your Rhinebeck podcast and it was fabulous. Now I can go back to sleep and dream of all the yarny goodness. Thanks

Been looking forward to this one for years!! Got my giggle pants on and I’m ready to go.
I went to Rhinebeck for the first time in 2010. I was greeted by SO many people, a few asked what I was working on. Oh Connie has given me advice to bring a suitcase in a suitcase hahahah so that's what I'm going to do and I'll worry a bout the cost of shipping it back AFTEr I've packed it full hahahaha. It's going to be so wonderful and I hope to bring my daughter so it'll be a girl's trip. xxx

Come to Vogue Live NYC in January!!!
Thank you for sharing!
it was so fun meeting you briefly, however embarrassed I was to be fan girling that hard. So nice to hear about the rest of your weekend since I wasn't able to make it to Needles Up.
So wish I was closer to some of these. What is the shawl pattern you girls are wearing?
Oh, thank you sooooo much for mentioning my credit card issue at Indie Untangled. That was so wonderful. Seriously can't thank you enough. So many people have reached out to me saying they heard about it on your podcast.
Tuskenknits Maria, it was our pleasure! If we can help in any way....please don’t hesitate to ask. 😃 we hope that it all works out for you.

Bahahahaha!!! Llamas with a butt hole!!! Hilarious 😂... love watching you girls ... sending big Aussie love to you both xx
Stress Knits yarn names from podcast My Favorite Murder. check out this podcast so much fun.
