Hi Jodi and Tracie! Sending you hugs from Southern California. I've just finished watching ALL your episodes 1-38. It's taken a while but it's been wonderful and I love your podcast. I am a crocheter so I really enjoy when Jodi shows her crochet makes but the love of yarn is for all of us who work with it regardless of the craft we choose. Thank you for putting together such a great "Party in my RUclips"!Hugs- Claudia (crochetluna)

Thanks Jodi and Tracie for keeping me company this Easter Saturday as I work to finish a quilt for our upcoming quilt show. You made me LOL, and I like your new hair, Jodi. Happy Easter!
I’ve been on Ravelry for a long time. Just finding patterns and ideas. Taught myself to knit via youtube. But i have never added pics and have never done a KAL. But after I found Grocery Girls this week…..I think that is over! I am tickled with watching your youtube.com and now finding you and your wonderful “finds” on Ravelry. I think I am jumping in the deep end!!! So excited to find other folks that get so excited about picking out colors and casting on a new project. I thought it was just me!! WHO KNEW!?!?!? I've been binging on Grocery Girls like crazy! Soooo enjoying you both!
I love anything Tracey & Jodi have to say. Party in my whatever 👑. It's nice to see a project here and there but the whole point is to laugh, be w friends and see FAB reviews on arms from all over the world. I now have bought Yarn from several of their reviews and am soooo excited to get party in MY mailbox yarn !
OMG...just found you girls today!!! love you already...stopped the vid.. jumped to Ravelry and purchased pattern...running for needles.. can't wait to catch up with back vids.. great company for a knitting girl! Thanks!!!
Got my first Mrs. Brown's Bag and LOVE IT.... Taking it with me everywhere I go and getting so many compliments. Need to get lots more..... Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Hi Ladies! There's so much to say about your episodes... but let me just say that I love the joy you bring into my life. And, I love being enabled!!! Yay.
Because I'm new to knitting and trying to knit my FIRST pair of sock..( 3 months of steady screw ups have turned my sock yarn into a halo ball ! ) but you gals keep me inspired to keep trying. I just want to have some COOL FUN socks to wear this fall!
Hi ladies! I look forward to your podcasts, I'm still learning, so much to learn, and am so thankful when you share about the things you like to use. It helps me out so much! xoxoxox
I think I have caught up at last. I have binge watched all of your podcasts and the Craftsy ones while I am recovering from an operation. You are so entertaining and very funny (bodily functions 😂😂😂). I couldn't wait to try the shawl patterns so I found some yarn in my very small stash and have started the AGLEAM shawl after Jodi said it was easy and I can't put it down. Thankyou soooo much. I'm hooked 😊
my mum , sister and I are all July babies too. We are all cancerians . My sister was born on 1st july 1972 and I was born on 20th july 1970, so we fill in the years between your birthdays ! love sent to you both from the south coast of England , UK.
OMG love this pattern lolodidit look super easy. i just start knitting for the first time this pattern will be easy to do. Also I like the CALICO CAT colorway from RIVER CITY YARN
Love, love, love catching up with your podcasts! Tracie....you would look terrific with a shorter hair-do like Melissa’s from Espace Tricot!!! I love hearing all about your fiber adventures 😊
I agree watching knitting podcasts is like sitting down with friends. I am single foot loose fancy free 52 year old from New Zealand. I would love to see podcast from New Zealand cos we have sheep but short on mills and dyes, if there was a podcast 4 would cover all our nz yarn and dyers. hmm mm. maybe not. hmm mm. but I love you ladies. I work, I knit, knitting group on Monday nights, travel, watch TV, keep well and still time to knit and watch podcasts. hard to keep up with patterns and yarns unless I have my tablet on my lap. keep it up.
Gosh just caught up to this last episode, binged on GG for the past month! I'm going to go into withdrawal and have to wait for the next episode! Love your podcasts with or without knitting! Dont change a thing!
PLEASE ENABLE ME! I have to tell you I just found you last month and I LOVE YOU TWO! I live in a very rural part of PA on a farm( sheep and cattle) where we have to drive about 45 minutes to a Michaels. I had no idea these Indie dye yarns even existed. You have opened up a whole new world to me and I am so thankful! Please keep sharing ......THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Russ Burkett First of all, it sounds beautiful where you live....but a girl has to have access to yarn! am I right?? LOL. We are so glad that you love some of the yarns that you see here. Happy knitting! 😀
Helen Stewart Thank you Helen 😃.... and a huge thanks for the Shawl Society 2 giveaways!! We can't wait to see all of the beautiful shawls that will be coming soon. ❤️
I was hoping that Knitters pride would have given us a coupon code for a discount on these needles. Jodi, I love your hair. Casual Fashion Queen's name is Sheena Mcneely from Florida. She is amazing and I love her Podcasts! I have kids your ages! My son was born in 1969 and my daughter was born in 1971!
No, you girls are not HSN, I love the fact that you are sharing your own favourites and the indie dyers. I believe in cottage industries and it's good for all of us. It's all good to know where to get the goodies. I go the Rhinebeck every year. Life is dark enough as it is so bring the light 😀
I have a bunch of that Biscotte et Cie (from when they were called that) that I must've gotten when they first opened their Etsy shop back in the day. I've never knitted with it. I think I thought it was too pretty!!
When I was younger I use to HATE my red hair ...not now ...I LOVE IT ....it is slowly being highlighted with white hair I am hoping it comes in like my Moms, as it looks like natural highlights Mr. Snapthat says Thankyou for the shout out !!!
I got the Knitter's Pride Trendz for my first set of interchangeables and love them. The Knit Picks needles and cords also work these Knitter's Pride needles and cords and vise versa. I currently have a blanket going with a Knitter's pride cord and Knit Picks rainbow wood needles and its working amazing!
Hi girls, I am happy to anounce that thanks to you I started knitting. I learned when I was seven, twenty years ago, and never knit again. Your podcast is so inspiring I decided to learn it again. Actually, I just casted on my needles a 100 stitches to do a scarf. I was just wandering if that is the usual amount of stitches for a scarf. When I'll get the hang of it I would love to try grey scarf tracie did in one of the first episodes (the one where knitted pieces are alternated with lines). Love you girls so much!! Greetings from Belgium.
When I see the lovely yarns you buy and receive as gifts I feel so inspired not enabled and I am always so disappointed when hosts just talk about their yarns and not show them. So thank you for showing all the fabulous goodness! I Love, Love you podcast and have watched all of them!!!
Traci , I am a dirty blonde /ash blonde , I use too dye my hair for years ! now meh , I totally rock my natural colour! its not so bad :) you ladies ROCK!
Sheri Carde The best colour for you is the one that you feel good in! I'm sure that you look amazing....I love the blonde, but I'd love to rock the "au naturel " one day too. Hair color is pretty fun to play with! You ROCK too Sheri!! ⚡️😎
Hey Jodi you mentioned a way to make sure not to have a hole in your heel at the corners. I tried to find it to try it. Help! would repeat it. I'm new to your podcast so once been power watching yours. Man oh man thou make muy day. I look forward to your continued success, you're both super fun! Becky
Well, I just stopped the podcast to buy 2 skeins of yarns from TreLiz. And ladies, THANK YOU for mentioning my name in your podcast! I'm so glad you like the yarn. :-) :-) :-)
Merryl , so now I know where to get my hand dyed yarns. I look forward to getting some from you when I get my income tax money 😃. I wish you loads of good business in your new venture
RCY - I find it impossible to chose just one and have narrowed it down to 3 favorites: Eden in Ash, for a sweater/cardigan. Hat Trick Anaheim, because the orange and turquoise are it. And because orange is my absolute favorite color, Hat Trick Penalty Shot. The soccer reference is so cool.
Andrea Britz these are all amazing choices. Please head over to the Ravelry group and put them in the giveaway thread if you'd like to be entered to win! Good luck! 🍀🍀🍀
I love love love Royales. Sad thing is though that I bought my first pair of fixed circulars on ebay and now I can't find anymore in Australia for love nor money. It's like KnitPro saw me coming and ran lmao.
Love your podcasts, and will keep watching. I do have to admit that it was disappointing not to see any knitting. That is the most fun, to see how the yarn, colors and patterns all come together and get ideas. Seeing all the stash, etc (even though it was beautiful) was just not as much fun, like a podcast with just one topic. I guess you are working on the Craftsy projects, but I like the ones you do for yourselves better. Interesting to see them in progress, and then as an FO. Hope we get to see more in the future. Can hardly wait for your next podcast.
We definitely understand that the knitting was missed. However, last few episodes have been knitting rich, and there are only so many hours in the day! Thanks for the feedback. We also loved celebrating giveaways and all of the participants and winners of our KALS....The content of podcasts ebb and flow. It's impossible to have lots of knitting for every episode. We've definitely noticed the same trend on other podcasts. Sometimes there is a TON of knitting, sometimes not so much. Wouldn't it be great to be able to wake up and knit all day, every day? Dream life! We are excited to show you more projects on our next episode. Happy knitting!
I love watching you girls. You crack me up. Is there anyway you could have more crochet alongs and more crochet give away because I am not a knitter. Thanks so much
I have just subscribed to your channel and enjoy your blogs very much.I tried to find where to purchase the needle set you demonstrated in this blog but could not find the metal tipped with wood ( they are not at knitpicks) anywhere so if you can please let me know. I have bookmarked most of the sights you have mentioned for yarn (Canadian) as I bought a book on Brioche knitting and want to try some of their yarns. Thankyou... Kim from Winnipeg
Kimberlee Jeanne Stevens Bryan Hello! You can find links to everything that we discussed in the Grocery Girls group in Ravelry. The Royale needles are by Knitter's Pride and are available on that website. We hope that you enjoy them!
Please DON'T stop the enabling! You have introduced me to some of the most beautiful yarn and patterns that I own and I know would not have known about if I didn't watch your podcast.
amcclellan509 We're passionate about passing on things that we love....and we are excited to hear that you love them too!! Thanks for letting us know 😊
Ladies, if you want good chocolate, a d you get to Seattle, try Chocolati. Every year I go there on vacation and it is a MUST visit for me. I bring it home to enjoy my vacation memories once vacation has ended 😊
Ellen Hughes Sock blanks are a piece of knitted fabric that you unravel as you knit. Just grab the end that unravels easily (usually there is one that's more cooperative), and just cast on and knit as if it's a ball of yarn. You get to see a super cool and unique fabric appear as you knit. We LOVE them! Hope you get a chance to try one. Lots of dyers are doing them now. :D
I have that set and just love, love, love, them they also have a set with the same needles only they are shorter and shorter cable it make a16"circular set for hats
I am currently knitting from a Gale's Art sock blank. I wear it at work while knitting and I am having fun watching the colors of the blank unknit and the sock form. Be prepared for lots of questions if you knit in public.
Hi Ladies, I have finished a crocheted shawl and started a knitted one, today. Can you tell me, what's with these shawls? I thought shawls were supposed to wrap around your shoulders and arms to keep you warm. I love them, but they still look unfinished. Love you ladies so much. Keep up the fun. 74 and learning something new every day. Go Canada!
Margaret McNeil-Smith Hi Margaret! Yes, some shawls are pretty small. We tend to like patterns that use 500-600 metres or even more of yarn. It would be even more for a crochet pattern, as crochet uses approximately one third more yarn than knitting. This meterage usually means that it will be a large shawl for lots of coverage when you wear it. There are so many various patterns, and lots can be modified to keep going until you get the size that you like. You can actually search Ravelry for a shawl, crocheted, using however many meters/yards you have. Just use those little boxes on the search panel down the left hand side of the screen when you're in Ravelry. We hope that this helps a little. Thanks so much for watching and asking such a great question! Happy knitting & crocheting! 😀
Can I just say I love that just after 3:00 you obviously cut something that involved one of the Gs in the background getting knocked over? Now I really want to know how that happened...
My 2 cents...even if a podcast shows no "enabling"...i.e. no shopping, no new stash, no new lovely things...there is still enabling! If someone is knitting a project out of a yarn that you don't have, or haven't heard of, and you like it and then go look for that yarn...THATS ENABLING! Anyway...y'all know I LOVE YOU and all that you do. And I'll never give up my Hello Lovelies :)
Suburban Stitcher That's a great way to put it, Dianne. We adore all of the Hello Lovelies on Suburban Stitcher too (especially your yarns!!) 😀❤️ we never miss an episode!

amcclellan509 I agree. I've picked up so many amazing yarns. Other than two colors my Find Your Fade is completely Grocery Girls inspired.
I am allergic to wool also. I wonder if it being "superwash" might make a difference??
Ladies, if you want good chocolate, a d you get to Seattle, try Chocolati. Every year I go there on vacation and it is a MUST visit for me. I bring it home to enjoy my vacation memories once vacation has ended 😊
Julie W Ooooooh! Thanks for the tip. We've never heard of these. Although we doubt that they'd make it home....🙈
Love your podcasts! Which of these podcasts did you talk about the shawl pattern The Girl from the Grocery Store? Would love to watch it.
Marilyn van Zyl Thank you , Marilyn. 😁 Episode 31 is the one that you're looking for. We hope that you enjoy!
So I need that ancient arts flash mob color way...so I'm going to have to stalk that site on Thursday.
taccora Good luck! It's a stunner, for sure. 😀
I got lucky and just bought 3 hanks of Spring has Sprung so hopefully enough for a long featherweight cardigan
How do you knit with a sock blanket??
Ellen Hughes Sock blanks are a piece of knitted fabric that you unravel as you knit. Just grab the end that unravels easily (usually there is one that's more cooperative), and just cast on and knit as if it's a ball of yarn. You get to see a super cool and unique fabric appear as you knit. We LOVE them! Hope you get a chance to try one. Lots of dyers are doing them now. :D
Thanks for the fast response! Love you two.
I have that set and just love, love, love, them they also have a set with the same needles only they are shorter and shorter cable it make a16"circular set for hats
Please show us what to do with sock blanks? I don't know what they are and what you do with them?
Thanks for the idea....stay tuned for a demo in our next episode. :)
Jodi! The Casual Fashion Queen has a colorway called "Ultimate Booger"! I have a naughty sense of humor, so I ❤️ it! Gah!
Melissa Martinez PERFECT!! 😂👌🏼
I am currently knitting from a Gale's Art sock blank. I wear it at work while knitting and I am having fun watching the colors of the blank unknit and the sock form. Be prepared for lots of questions if you knit in public.
Karen White Gale's blanks are incredible!! Lucky you.....it does look a little strange when you're knitting. Thanks for the heads up!
Those swatches at the end :O I am drooling over here. My question, do you knit up swatches then take pictures of them?? Because they are gorgeous!!!
Thank you. Happy Easter.
I SO enjoy you two sooooo much! You are both so beautiful and FEM! (shame on Staples boy- he needs to check in to his vision plan).
Been trying to figure out how to enter for the great giveaway. Did I miss it? (Almost missed the deadline already).
Hi Ladies! Tracie, I'm sure you've answered this question, but can you tell me where you got your adorable "socks" mug?
Jodi, what is the name of the beautiful shawl you are wearing?
Does anyone know? And the yarn?!!
Can I just say I love that just after 3:00 you obviously cut something that involved one of the Gs in the background getting knocked over? Now I really want to know how that happened...
Ashleigh Richman LOL. it was just adjusting our chairs. We didn't notice the sideways G until editing. 🙈 Don't worry. It's fixed
Chocolate and yarn best combo
My 2 cents...even if a podcast shows no "enabling"...i.e. no shopping, no new stash, no new lovely things...there is still enabling! If someone is knitting a project out of a yarn that you don't have, or haven't heard of, and you like it and then go look for that yarn...THATS ENABLING! Anyway...y'all know I LOVE YOU and all that you do. And I'll never give up my Hello Lovelies :)
Suburban Stitcher That's a great way to put it, Dianne. We adore all of the Hello Lovelies
on Suburban Stitcher too (especially your yarns!!) 😀❤️ we never miss an episode!
You forgot the link of the yarn online
David Short Show notes are in the Grocery Girls Ravelry group. We're not sure what yarn you're referring to.

yukonnoka Ok! Will definitely check it out 👌🏼👍🏼
