Chris Bell just continues to get better, he got so many wins in the playoffs and even recovered from being the innocent victim in the Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson wreck at Vegas to win at Martinsville. The guy is good, and he may take the mantle at JGR and hopefully things will continue to shift over to Chris's side in the garage area. He should probably be looked for as JGR's star driver now.
People say JGR is spiraling downward, but I disagree. I think if JGR can keep Sammy Smith locked up, they will have an elite cup line up in a few year with Ty Gibbs, C Bell and Smith.
@@logdrive3929 Also Christopher Bell failed to win the Xfinity Series Championship. Yes he did win a Trucks championship but I thought he would win it after Suarez.
I've been high on Bell since his truck days. I always say the best talent starts on dirt and he's no exception. I think in '20 he outran his equipment, and last year showed how good he can be. And i think the reason he's so good on road courses and short tracks is because of his dirt background, the cars slide around a lot on road courses and the braking points on short tracks are part of his background. Besides Truex, he's my favorite driver in Cup. Heck of a driver and heck of a nice guy. Today is his 28th birthday and he still looks like he's 15.
I was a Kurt Busch fan. But since he retired, for some reason I’ve resonated with C Bell so I think he’s my favorite now. Him and Ty Gibbs in some respects. C Bell is super clutch. And crazy talented. He was so close to winning a title last year. His pit crew let him down.
I think he's already easily the top JGR driver, and he'll be out there competing for championships for a long time. I don't know why I didn't think much of him prior to this year, maybe it's because I had trouble taking him seriously because he looks like he's 12, I don't know. But he impressed me even before the walk-offs in the playoffs.
I would have to agree, with Hamlin and Truex possibly seeing the end of the road pretty soon, and with KB gone, it's only time that the torch gets passed down to Christopher Bell, because he was the only guy in 2022 that maintained consistency especially in the Playoffs, at JGR. And, honestly at the beginning of the year, my expectations for him were not that high for him, but boy did he prove me wrong! Expect him to be a legitimate threat for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series championship....
I've said for years that Bell is one of the best drivers in 2022. He's consistent at the right times. However, things beyond his control always overshadow his wins (see Ross Chastain at Martinsville), and he's easily going to be in contention to be a multi-time champion.
He maybe a little underrated in cup but he definitely isn't on dirt best wheelman jgr has honestly I do wish he was on a different team since we've seen how tye races his teammates I like Bowman but I see would like to see him in the 48 car
yessssssss. i have been saying this for the last 2 years. when a co worker at work would ask about what driver to put in for Dayton RC fantasy......Wins it. YESSSSSSSSS cbell!!
Used to despise him cuz he took the 95 from DiBenedetto (and didnt do any better) and then the 20 from Jones (and didnt do any better until this year). But now that hes actually doing good, its great to see the 20 car I grew up cheering for compete for a championship
plus, after Bubba wrecked Larson at Vegas, Bell being in the wrong place at the wrong time probably saved my guy Larson from suffering a career ending concussion from the impact he wouldve made if he'd backed into the wall like he was about to
I felt like he was handicapped when he came in in the number 95. Out of that rookie class it definitely put him behind Custer and Reddick. Nowadays I think he's got a better shot than ever!!!
Bell is a quiet achiever. He’s becoming a cult favourite and is doing things right. He’s going to have a long career with minimal hate. He won’t win the popular driver awards. But no one hates him for anything.
In 2021, I would have never even noticed him In 2022, he is gotta be one of my favorite drivers ever In 2023, he might become my favorite toyota driver (now that Busch is gone)
What makes Christopher Bell underrated is that he’s not controversial. Tyler Reddick, same thing. These guys are too nice not selfish enough and they don’t throw temper tantrums or act like brats when they don’t get their way. That’s what makes Kyle Busch so awesome and I’m not even that big of a fan of Kyle Busch I would much rather Reddick and Bell be the brat pack.
It’s not fun to root for the nice guy. Reddick doesn’t have swag bell doesn’t have swag who wants to be a fan of those guys same thing with Bowman and Byron.
Under rated.....anybody with half a brain cell knows better. If you've watched even a little bit of his career from dirt to Cup you knew sooner or later this young man was gonna be a championship contender. He will be Toyota's next driver to compete for championships for atleast the next decade. Or until another manufacturer steals him away.......lol
Bell is coming up great. However 1 great year doesn't qualify him as a elite driver. We need to see him in 5 years. We need to stop jumping the gun on these young drivers claiming them as elite when in reality all hasn't been consistent. Bell will get to elite status in the years to come if he continues to build upon the year before.
Bell is not elite by any means. He’s barely going to be the top driver at his own team next year with Gibbs coming in. He’s going to get pushed to the back burner as Gibbs comes in next year.
Bell is super overrated Byron and him have simple career uprisings but Byron was miles better in trucks and he won the Xfinity championship. Bell didn’t. And his roval win was pure luck his martinsville win was actually badass. But he is like same level as Brett moffiet if he got a sponsor or good team
no no no no just stop bro dude gets lucky like Alex bowman the lack of anyone had any knowledge of this car resulted in just teams hitting the set now we have a season on it your going to see more of the same from 21' and before the best will show up and these mediocre drivers will not show we will not be having 19 winners again bet under 12 will win
I really don't see how getting 3 wins is luck, especially Martinsville where he led 150 laps. Also he got his wins in the second half of the season, well past the time that there was no knowledge on the cars.
i wouldn't be so sure about that pal you see this car unlike the gen 6 relies of the hands of the drivers and the driving talent not just horsepower you have to be conservative with you're equipment these days and save you're best stuff for the end and the whole under 12 winners next year i call bullshit there will be more than that for certain
oh and if you don't believe this car takes talent to drive ask kyle busch based off the number of times he spun out this year in either practice qualifying or racing
Do you think that Christopher Bell will compete for a championship again in 2023?
Yes
Indeed
If Christopher Bell’s pit crew can eliminate the mistakes, he’s going to be the 2023 cup champion.
Yes
Hell yes!
With Hamlin and Truex getting up there in age and Kyle Busch gone, Christopher Bell should be given the best equipment JGR has.
Yep but wouldn’t ty would get the best equipment
He's already got the best Crew Chief.
@@lefturn99 yeah and also fun fact Adam stevens used to be kyles crew chief when he won 2 championships
I agree but with Ty going cup racing next year you would think Joe Gibbs would give his best equipment to his grandson
2 walk-off victories in the playoffs to make the championship 4 was pretty damn impressive if you ask me
Chris Bell just continues to get better, he got so many wins in the playoffs and even recovered from being the innocent victim in the Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson wreck at Vegas to win at Martinsville. Christopher Bell has caught the Matt Kenseth curse. Whenever he achieves something great, there's always something else to overshadow him.
Which is ironic given that he took over matt kenseth's old ride and colours
I love to see more spotlight to my man ChristoGOAT Bell! I've never understood why he's so underrated!
Because sadly he’s just known as the guy who “kicked” Jones out the 20
@@larsongame4120 It wasn't Bell's choice that Jones got kicked out.
@@logdrive3929 Also Christopher Bell failed to win the Xfinity Series Championship. Yes he did win a Trucks championship but I thought he would win it after Suarez.
Bell is overrated big time dawg
Christopher bell is one of the best drivers rn definitely the best of his rookie class
Was at the roval and martinsville was awesome seeing him walk off with a win in the round of 12 and 8 when he was out of it.
I've been high on Bell since his truck days. I always say the best talent starts on dirt and he's no exception. I think in '20 he outran his equipment, and last year showed how good he can be. Finally. I’ve been saying this since the Roval win. Raise hell, praise Bell.
I could also, honestly, see Burton being his main rival as well.
Austin Cindric's talent is also underrated. Dude had two incredible saves in his rookie year alone
But he’s a sh*t teammate
Not to mention his run at Atlanta in the summer, falling all the way to 36th early then making his way back up front to finish 3rd.
Not to mention, he was one of the only few drivers who did not loose control and get any damage from that rain big one in August at Daytona
him just being lucky
@@Nytrixyl Don't disrespect Ryan Blaney's dad like that
Saw him run at Bridgeport this year. Great driver.
I believe Christopher will do like last year but better! Awesome content as Always!!👍🔥
Yep he definitely a championship contender next year too.
Funny this gets recommended now. Bell is back in the final 4, and is leading the Winston Cup standings............. hypothetically.
Christopher GOAT is what I’m gonna call him from now on.
Bold prediction: he will be in the NASCAR Hall of Fame
very bold, but it might happen if he keeps his consistency up
If he wins a Championship that will be the case
I think he's already easily the top JGR driver, and he'll be out there competing for championships for a long time. I don't know why I didn't think much of him prior to this year, maybe it's because I had trouble taking him seriously because he looks like he's 12, I don't know. The thing that doesn’t inspire confidence with me for JGR is worrying about when Ty Gibbs will dump a team mate to win
I would have to agree, with Hamlin and Truex possibly seeing the end of the road pretty soon, and with KB gone, it's only time that the torch gets passed down to Christopher Bell, because he was the only guy in 2022 that maintained consistency especially in the Playoffs, at JGR. He is the new Ryan Newman. Got speed and wins, but can't seal the deal. IMO. But agree, underrated.
Future is bright for Christopher bell
Yeah
Definitely
Christopher Bell is an elite driver, and I think he needs a lot more as the 2023 season goes on.
I've said for years that Bell is one of the best drivers in 2022. He's consistent at the right times. However, things beyond his control always overshadow his wins (see Ross Chastain at Martinsville), and he's easily going to be in contention to be a multi-time champion.
He’s my preseason championship pick

Not a big Toyota guy but I’m here to say Bell is a stud and will win multiple cup championships. He’s the real deal
I felt like he was handicapped when he came in in the number 95. Out of that rookie class it definitely put him behind Custer and Reddick. Nowadays I think he's got a better shot than ever!!!

Definitely final 4 in 2023. Showed he can perform under pressure. Only driver at JGR I root for.

Bell has been my favorite since 2021 lmao
C-Bell's gonna be carrying the JGR banner for years to come
Christopher Bell is the most underrated driver in NASCAR. He is a superstar.
Lets go a video on my favorite driver!
i rememeber early this year and last year that he might get replaced. now look at him
If bell had any doubters, that Martinsville win was the final laugh
I kind of think C Bell got the Kyle Busch car that race at Martinsville
little did we know
Dude looks like a Peter Parker and I can’t wait to see what he does over the next decade
Oh, no! I agree with the Iceberg. Go CBell.
Bell is a nice man a good man
I personally believe it will him or Reddick who carry Toyota

I’ve always been a bell fan
If Gibbs messes with Bell I will hunt that entire organization down
Only part I don't necessarily agree with is Bell being the best Toyota driver in 2023
I think that title will go to Reddick
I think JGR as a team is not the top Toyota team within 5 years

Let's not go with praising Joey Logano. It doesn't suit us.
I think CBell will be the most successful Toyota driver in 2023
I think the term Elite is getting thrown around a little too much lately.
Is 2023 his year?
“what drivers didnt have good years”
*apparently all of them*
What is surprising me is CBell is OLDER than Chase Elliott.
Are you sure you’re not just making this video to get on David Bell’s good side? (;
Lol, I'm sure. Bell was extremely fast last year and has had 3 years of consistent growth as a driver.
@@TheIceberg agreed. Just having fun. 😊
Dont agree! I think the most underrated driver in the cup series is William Byron.
