Thank you Brightlife and @meinatsume! This made my UI so much better to look at. Everything that blended with the background and was hard to see is now much easier to see.
Thank you for introducing us to this plugin. I can't wait to try it. I would love to see more coverage and reviews of all the plugins for Lotro. There are so many out there and not a good way to be introduced to them. I hope you cover more of them in the future as I have found very few videos on them.
Would love a video on how to get the UI sizing to work with 4K resolution. I’ve been playing this in 1080p because I can’t get everything to scale properly. Such a shame because this games water reflections truely shine at 4K
Hey, soon you will have 1000 subscribers, nice)) Personally I like to use minimalist skin for UI, so I can enjoy world of middle earth) I hope, that in the near future, SSG, will update the UI. Skins are great, but still, UI need to be updated
There’s no UI option when you quick search folders; there’s only CEF, Plugin Data, lotro key map, and user preferences. How can i do this and use the addon
1: should be in the description! 2: hmm, should be in the LOTRO file. If not, go on ahead and create the “UI” folder and proceed through the steps. Let me know if it works!
Got it to work... Though this information would have been nice to know: "All of the UI skins created by users must lie in an expected location. Turbine has defined this location as the "\ui\skins" directory." "C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online"
Hahaha bro those are both BOOSTED! 😂😂😂 Wanted to try to see what newer content was like and didn’t connect with characters I hadn’t leveled. My highest “natural” character is 40.
@@BrightlifeMMOs good that you have done leveling with "natural way" for people did badly and used all valar boosts and got so confused, i recommend not to play valared characters until you level up naturally over them, and i am so used on old UI:s, that i only change my UI:size to what it should be on my screen, i am so used to Lotro:s "clunky" movement too that i dont notice anything, over 1200 hours of experience, i have one character done almost past Mordor and lvl 53, then lots of alts lvl 20-35, and finally the valared ones, lvl 50 and 130. Then i got lvl 105 and lvl 120 valars unused, for i use them carefully when i know what i want. After i valared a guy stright to lvl 50 i reslized that if i dont do the things i skipped, my deeds are not done, wich i usually do so well, i remember few days ago i did all deeds of lonelands on my alt currently leveling there. I realized you have some lotro videos, and i like watching others opinions, and hate haters opinions who skip tutorials or tip texts that are must read in lotro, and then are confused of being lost, even after lvl 50 you need to read those, legendary item (LI) system is confusing. I did subscribe now, just dont skip places on lotro, and always when you get a new skill put your mouse on top of it so you see what it does, after knowlenge of what a skill does comes experience to place skills well, i hope you know warden combos so you dont spam only one dps move combination. Also head towards group content, it is not important in normal quests in map game, but in instances that you probably otherwise skip, dont, if you dont know how to get into a group, watch youtube for info, then in LFF chat you can try finding a group for your instance when the name of the instance is shown and there is also typed (for example) The Great Barrow 3/6, meaning that 3 players are already in group and 3 more is needed. There is 3/6/12 players in group content, depending on the instance and options how hard it can be. In Moria, after Eriador, there is just a lot important group content things, dont skip
@@BrightlifeMMOs other players can be invited to a group as someone sends a tell, so a text that goes to only one player /tell in chat, then as someones name has appeared it can be invited by rightclicking the name and fellowship>invite, or if you are to join a group, send /tell + and tell your level, your class and trait option so /tell (the name) + for the current instance, a lvl 38 warden, dps traits, but you can manage your traits so if you have practised tanking with warden, you could use other traits that have other special skills, its about fellowships needs. Also by typing /f you get into a chat with your group.
Hi. I was watching few videos of your’s and i subscribe your channel. I have account from 2009 but i still after celebration of 15th years i have some missions unavailable… why?
its feature, because you can still move ingame while you have your map open, but you cant see where you are moving, so you can accidentally walk off a cliff for example while looking at map.
@@teemumiettinen7250 Surely the answer would be to not walk with the map open , Same reason why I don't read a magazine while walking through a city.. If the map would have been say 1/4 size of screen I'd agree it was a feature.. But as it fills 3/4 of the screen I still say it's a bug :)
great, but the biggest negative about the UI (IMO) is still there., the buttons and icons. It hurts my eyes looking at them when I play, so I dont play the game at all.

Woohoo! Glad you love it!

2 issues.
One: where's the link to the DL.
Two: Not seeing the UI folder in my LOTRO file.

I also did not have a UI folder, but I created one and it worked.

Hmm, I wonder why that would be! Which missions are unavailable?
